Kerry is the beta of his pack. He is loyal to a fault, holding his honor close to his chest. But he also holds something else close to his chest...his need to dominate. When Jesse walks into his life, Kerry finds the one person meant to be his is the one that needs him to be dominant the most. Teaching Jesse how to be the anamchara of a wolf shifter might be harder to fight than the hunters that drag Jesse into their plans to exterminate paranormals.
Jesse is human who has a bad track record of putting his needs above others, but he has his reasons. When he meets Kerry under unusual circumstances, the life he has been fighting so hard to obtain is handed to him on a silver platter. But this gift has strings, ones Jesse’s not sure he can handle, especially when he tries to do the right thing and his past misdeeds have everyone around him believing the worst, even the man who is supposed to be his mate.
About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.
I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

the big 10" dick has struck!!!!!(so let's all be size queens) this bk made no sense. several times I had to go back and read paragraphs a second time to insure that I had the right characters. there were plot holes you could drive a Buick through. build up of action is Jesse being kidnapped. ....THEN he's not, little bit later he's kidnapped again...no follow through with the first escape, the pet crap got old real quick. the three (not sure if they were wolf or vampire ) to be honest, that harm jesse because he's human. this should not have been written. no star...would give negative stars if allowed. liked bk 1 & 2...through rest fell by the way KEEP A TISSUE HANDY WHILE READING THIS THE GREY FLUID THAT IS ESCAPING THROUGH THE NASAL PASSAGES IT'S YOUR BRAIN TRYING TO SURVIVE OUTSIDE YOUR BODY.
Totally ignoring the fact that it's been a while since the previous book so what the hell is going on and what's the storyline... BDSM... the kind whre pet and master are to be an all the time thing, and Kerry seems to be more abusive himself than providing for his mate. I just DID not LIKE the set up.
Then taking and giving Jessie back and no one believes him. Kerry only sees part of the new roughed up on the walk to the apartment and totally buys the "I fell in the elevator". Didn't ANY of them have paranormal senses, like smelling a lie? Perhaps not but it feels like they should be able to.
Oh, and lets cause some permanent damage while Kerry is away explaining to the big guys.. I didn't understand why he didn't bring Jessie with for that conversation. And I wonder how the 3 assholes were going to explain the silver thing or the state Jessie would be found once they were through. AND considering the way Jessie was feeling with the word pet being used, how is he ok with it later? Had a few shudders but then all is A o Kay...
and lets also not forget.. of course Kerry HAS to have BIG equipment.. Totally overused having the over abundant penil size..
Basically EVERYTHING about this story sucks to me. Just... how can you fuck Jessie up like that??
I liked the premise of the book but something was missing from the execution of the actual story. Jesse is the problematic Little brother of drew, a character from a previous book. Jesse isn't a bad guy but he makes bad decisions. His wolf mate Kerry takes him on and provides the Domination and stability he craves so desperately. So, jesse has a bad history of spreading information that isn't his to spread. .. This causes problems for him with his mate Kerry and the group of paranormals they live with. But when jesse is actually telling the truth Kerry doesn't believe him. Then Jesse Is abused sexually and physically by pack members and to be honest all of that could have been avoided if Kerry had trusted and believed jesse. So that was a major plot point that the author chose not to use as a conflict in the mating. That really sucked! Then Jesse Just forgave him and moved on without a second thought. ... but that's BORING! ! No one wants to read abt a couple that just coasts along without any drama or conflict! That's the one thing that was definitely missing from this book. ..
The latest volume in this series certainly provides a worthy bang for what might be the ending. All the previous characters are back, the hunters make a last, desperate appearance, and all the story threads are cleaned up quite nicely. With the focus on Kerry, the wolf pack’s beta, and Jesse, wayward brother of Drew (from the previous book), there is lots of clarification, more than one surprise, and some very hot “training” that allows Jesse the fulfillment of his dreams of being dominated. Not before some major suspense hits the pages though.
Such a disappointing installment. ...I just did not care for the story line, the characters or ... anything! And I LIKE this series! ! I'm hoping the next one (if it isn't two years away. .) will make up for this. ..
This fucking book. The first 28 pages made me somehow happy, I was THRILLED with the D&S play but then everything went down on a spiral. First, how the fuck do you call yourself a Dominant and don't ask your sub their safe word??? And don't even discuss limits? WTF Second, I'm sick and tired of "mates" being kidnapped and traumatized like was it necessary??? Third, again was it really necessary to include so much detail in the assault scenes??? It gave me a literal anxiety attack lol Overall this book just made me miserable, I hated it. Everything was so wrong. Like everyone doing their lives like it was all normal while Jesse was BLINDED. And expecting his trust??? Seriously??? Also didn't make any sense that they couldn't even smell if Jesse was telling the truth or not, and then didn't make any fucking sense that Kerry didn't smell the fucking guards all over Jesse after the first assault scenes. So much could be prevented. I hated all and everyone of them, but specially Kerry. Such a pathetic excuse for a Dom. I'm disappointed and sad. Jesse is the only good thing on this book and I think I'll treasure him forever. He just has my heart

The Tribal Bonds series has so much going on, betrayal, suffering, and kidnapping. I felt sorry for Jesse, he suffered the most, being kidnapped, blinded, and almost raped. The worst was not being trusted by everyone, especially Kerry his soulmate. They didn't believe he was telling the truth about his kidnapping and release. They all felt he betrayed them to the hunters. Sometimes it hard to overcome betrayal, and it takes a lot to regain trust, something Kerry is finding out with Jesse. I hope there is another book coming out soon about Seth, I would like to read his story. This is a great series, I would recommend it.
I really don't understand why this author keeps maiming some of her characters. It's seriously unnecessary and takes the fun right out of the story for me. Otherwise, it was well written and vividly told. There were a few chapters that totally saddened me but I guess that just goes with the story. I loved Jesse and he didn't deserve what happened to him. The ending was enjoyable and I'd like to read the next book (hoping that none of the characters are maimed again). Creative and imaginative read
This book definitely brought the fun back, for me anyway, of the series. A lot of it was predictable but I was okay with that. Jesse is sweet and Kerry is the dominant any nice submissive might want.
