A Flake Like Mike is a limited-edition hardcover children's book for luxury department store Saks Fifth Avenue published by Harper Collins for the 2008 holiday season. Capuozzo illustrated the book using his signature collage style. The illustrations create a playful world reflecting the vibrant energy of the book's New York City setting. Written by Simpsons writer Mike Reiss, the story follows a snowflake named Mike who is rejected by other snowflakes for being different. The feel-good story is about finding one's own individual identity. The book's narrative and illustrations were used as the basis for the design of the holiday windows in Saks' flagship New York City store and in stores nationwide.
