This book was really comical and sweet. It cracked me up. It started off during a Paige's job interview at the M&M Mating Agency, which wasn't going so good based on agencies premise. The other owner of the company Maddox entering the room and ogling and hitting on Paige further suggests that this is not the job for her. So as politely as she can manage she gets up to leave, but do to Maddox's attentions, she is on the edge of shifting into her were ferret form. Yup, were ferret. Me personally, I'd be pissed if I shifted into anything that small- I feel short as it is. As she is storming out of the building, the elevator sounds and out comes her very own mate, Archer, who is a were cougar. Archer had returned to the M&M Mating Agency on his own behalf, because his last visit had been for his brother Holt, and now Archer wants his own mate and cubs. So, this is a happy moment, in theory... because Paige is still on edge and admires Archer as she passes by him, until they both realize...MATE. Then she full on shifts inside the elevator, and the chase is on. Archer runs down the stairwell trying to keep up with and find his mate, he runs into trouble exiting the building, darn revolving doors. But, Paige gives him the slip in the end. Happy ending is that Paige is his Holt's mate's(Chloe) best friend, so he found her again soon after the chase. There is more shifting ahead, a bit of family drama( sound fun), family bonding, and more...keep reading.
