About the author

I was born in northeast Ohio and developed a love of reading at a young age, epic fantasy was always my favorite. My favorite writers were Terry Brooks and Tolkien. I read the Hobbit / LOTR and the Shannara series repeatedly.

My hope is that my stories are thought provoking and entertaining at the same time. I want my readers to be sucked into my worlds the same way I was with Aspirin's Thieves World series. I like to keep the tone and feel of my stories changing as well, from dark and somber to light and happy, just like life is.

When I'm not writing I enjoy doing other creative projects. Painting, drawing, woodworking, woodburning and lapidary. I also enjoy target shooting when I can squeeze it in.

This was a wonderful story in this series. I certainly hope this author plans to write more. I have loved every book he has written so far. I would greatly recommend this series of books. A definite must read.
