Damned if I Do is Episode 3 of a projected 5 in The Cambion Chronicles (A Paranormal Chick Lit Serial). It is about 15,000 words in length. Please see the Author's Note regarding length at the beginning of chapter 1. :)
How do you tell your mom you’re in love with a demon?
An urgent summons from her mother has brought Lily back to her childhood hometown with fear in her heart—and a pregnancy test in her purse.
Meanwhile, Sebastian’s making plans to pop a question, and using Pusboil to keep tabs on his human lover. What he doesn’t know is that at least one of the things he thinks he knows about her isn’t true.
Will the secrets Lily’s about to learn spell the end of her new life with her sexy demon boyfriend?
When you read a book and can't get enough, only for it to finish moments later has to be the most depressing feeling! Extremely enjoy this book series, it's getting steamier and hotter with each series! Can't wait for the other books to be available to read, a half incubi sex God boyfriend! I definitely can't wait!
Oh Lily! She has gotten herself into quite a mess: promised to her demon boyfriend and possibly pregnant with his offspring, she goes to visit mom for some good advice. What follows can only be described as Winchester-esque, in the best way possible. Looking forward to the next installment to see how things pan out for our little friend.
I know that the author had at first decided to makes this series only three episodes long, and then got some ideas how to make the series longer....... I don´t know what kind of ideas she got, but I felt this episode had too much stand still to actually be considered for a plus to make the series longer. The big secret that there was hinted at in last episode took forever to be revealed. I do not think it justify making a series longer, just by writing more words, dragging out a conversation that ends with "this is so difficult to say, but the big secret is....". I expected a bit more plot to be honest.
And also there is no date of when the next episode is out. Call it a luxury problem, but waiting two months for this episode was disappointing. Hope not I have to wait that long again for the next episode.
Did not deliver on the promise of the first two. The H and h spent no time at all together. This is about the h visiting her mother who is a space cadet and reveals information to her daughter in a confused and stilted conversation. Maybe the writer ran out of ideas and needed to get something to the publisher? It was a dead fish and I doubt I'll read four and five of the trilogy. A five part trilogy a confusion in itself.
