This set picked upright where part 4 finished and once again we are given a hot ride....
Bethany is trying her best to get Damien to open up to her and stop playing games, she wants him to admit he loves her as much as she loves him. She tries everyway she can think off including inviting male friends to lunch and even taking control and dominating him during their sexual encounters. Will she break through his barriers and if she does what will others think after all in a few weeks time he will be her stepbrother.....
Another very hot box set of novellas from Ali Parker and once again I hope to read more from the secondary characters in this set.

A fantastic box set! There was so much drama, angst, and crazy sexy times! Bought the creative Billionaire box set after reading this. I NEED to find out more about Matt!

Urk! These two are crazy-making. I love Bethany and Damon so much but they’re both so invested in sabotaging their happiness. Every time they get to a point where it’s smooth sailing, one or the other of them has to go and rock the boat, killing all forward progress they’d made together. I love watching how their family pulls together around them, I just wish they’d pull their collective heads out of their backsides. There’s still one more book to go, I still have hope.

Great book. I love how all the characters have depth and charisma. It a lso has a great storyline to it and is a learning to love story. It has a get family I just absolutely fell in love with. Ali Parker did a great job on this book. I would definitely recommend you read this book.

TOO BAD........
I was so excited to read this second instalment of Damon and Bethany's story. I figured we would see Bethany shining as an accountant on the rise. Maybe a little bit superwoman doing school, work and working on figuring out the direction and understanding how to love Damon. Nope. He loves the sex, most of the book actually, and there you have it, soul mates. Bethany understands all the little snubs, nasty treatment and oh, please dominate me.
The first installment of this story was good and fun to read. This installment, not so much for me. This is my last purchase of the series. This is due to personal preference.
If erotica is your thing, you will enjoy this book. Not too descriptive like some but sex heals all in this book.
If you like more erotic content and less real story, you will like this book. Ms. Parker has a nice writing style. I am sorry she fell prey to 50 Shades of Grey.

Bethany is going to work on her Masters, but finds out only 1/3 of it is covered by the grants. She talks to her mom about getting married sooner rather than later. The new stepdad offers to cover the rest of her schooling if she goes to work at his company as an intern. Her new boss is her new stepbrother.
Damon was hurt bad in the past and has no intention of ever letting anyone get close enough to do that to him again. Slowly these two start getting to each other in more ways than one, but can they make things work when their parents are getting married.
This is the second half of the series and picks up right where part 4 ended. Really enjoyed watching these two figure things out. I also look forward to reading the 9th part as well and Matt's story. Very fast, hot read. I was given an arc for an honest review.

Very fast and HOT read! Bethany and Damon's sexual chemistry is off the scale! In order to get Damon to stop playing games and admit he wants more from her than just a bed partner- she starts to play his game- including instigating their sexual encounters and even using lunch dates with sexy Philip to make Damon jealous! A very steamy, sexy and bumpy ride for these two- from a sexy,yet lonely, trip to Seattle to a brutal attack on one of her friends. These events just bring them closer together, getting Damon to break down his walls and admit they love eachother. But is this love enough to overcome the fact Damon will soon be her step-brother? Damon decides Bethany is worth it all...family and friends be damned! Sexy from start to finish!

Wow! After reading parts 1-4 I jumped right in and finished parts 5-8. I don’t remember the last time I read straight through without stopping, I never put the book down. It was a great way to finish the book! You were left guessing and it picked right up where it left off. I loved every moment of the book. In parts 5-8 Bethanie is having to break through all of the barriers that Damon has put up to protect himself. Will Damon let Bethanie love him and will he allow himself to love her back, or will he keep his barriers up? Only one way to find out. I loved this whole series. And would recommend them!

This is a sizzling hot book. Really good writing, Ali Parker. I enjoyed reading this whole series. Can Damon and Bethany quit playing games? Can they get beyond being almost stepbrother and stepsister? Their story continues in this set of Parts 5-8. I received all of Parts 1-8 from the author in return for an honest review, and I enjoyed reading them so much that I wanted to just keep reading and reading. You can purchase these by individual parts, or by 2 sets , including parts 1-4 in one and parts 5-8 in another one. I recommend buying them with the two sets do you can just keep reading.

Wow, wow, wow. What more can i say. I love how Beth & Damon challenge each other and how they grow. I fell inlove with the book and really enjoyed reading. It's an amazing love story and the end was extremely well written.
It kept me wonder until the end. I love to read books that keeps me wondering and in suspense. It is very well written and extremely hot. Just the right amount of love scenes and not to explicit.
I would highly recommend both the box sets.

The continuation of Bethany & Damon continues to heat up in this book! This book picks up right where the first book ended, and it's scorching hot! I'm not sure if it's because the tempers were still high or from the desires & demands these two have for each other. Damon is full Alpha! He doesn't believe in love and only has demands, while sweet Bethany wants to show him that his demands can turn into love if he can trust. Will Bethany get the very hot Damon to change his views or is he too set in his ways?

I have loved reading this, in these parts we get to really see Beth trying to get Damien to actually believe that they can work, but with so many barriers can she break them down...... you really need to read this series brilliant reading that you won't want to put down

Such a great series from the beginning to the end. Great characters and story. What more could you ask for in a series.....steamy scenes that left me needing a cold shower, a controlling alpha dominant sexy man, and a little bit of a forbidden relationship. Will definitely be reading more of this author's books.

The push and pull of Bethany and Damon's relationship is so exciting to watch unfold. She is trying to break down his emotional walls and he just wants to be in control. Damon keeps trying to convince Beth (or maybe himself) that lust is better than love. Oh and then the hot and steamy parts thrown in for good measure! Can't wait to see what you've got coming next Ali Parker!

I received this book as an arc for my honest review.
This book started where 4 left off. which is great. I was able to get right into it.
The characters are awesome. I loved it. It was a must read. you just can't put it down. My advice. Don't !!

Wow I loved how well written this book was and how it jumped right in from book 1-4. We get to see how Bethany and Damon continue to grow closer and yet challenge eachother. Will Bethany be able to break through Damon's barriers or is it not meant to be.
