Wrapped from her head to her toes in iconic name brands, it was easy for Kamilla “Mill” Carmichael to remain in a relationship with her superstar athlete fiance', Zander Kates. In her heart and soul, he was her prince. He was the knight in shining armor she’d read about in fairytales. He was the kind of man her mother often told her about; yet, he would also turn out to be the man many fathers warned their daughters about.Without warning, Kamilla’s life goes from that of having it all, to a life she’d just as much, rather not have at all. Tear stained pillows and lonely nights drive her to do the unthinkable, as her rich fiance' tries desperately to hide a few secrets of his own.Zander lives his life in the spotlight and money is never an issue. But, at what price is he willing to pay to keep up the façade, and will his obsession for fame destroy him in the process?Lost inside a pseudo fairy tale, enamored by the trappings of material possessions, everything that glitters isn’t always gold, especially when you’re Dying Over Diamonds…… *Stand Alone* Novel

Will Zander’s fixation for notoriety finish him in due course? Is he ready for the consequences of the lavish lifestyle he lives? He’s hasn’t been honest with his bride to be Kamila. As a matter of fact he’s caused her a lot of heartache and sorrow. Kamila figured she had the best of the best with Zander, that is until he started hiding the truth from her. He could do no wrong in her opinion, after all he was a star athlete, but that facade was soon be unmasked. Some parts had me very frustrated with Zander. I wish that girls would see through guys like him from the start. I was relieved when Kamila finally finds out the truth about him. Kanari Diamond did a wonderful job of leading me through this narrative. I was baffled yet charmed, through the course of it.

Long anticlimactic.

This book was just eh. The characters were interesting, but the whole thing was just long and blah. Now Haven is a good character, I'd like to see more from her. I mean all the characters were well developed it's just that the writers story was lacking. Like I said it was eh.
