THE KILL: Screamin' and Dyin' in Three Acts

Rate this book
In October 1965 a woman disappears from an Atlanta parking lot, never to be seen again. Several months later, on a hot summer night in 1966, two men dumping refuse stumble upon three badly beaten bodies, shaking an entire community in this remote area of the North Carolina mountains to its very core. Asheville investigative reporter Lewis Creek discovers that authorities are either botching their efforts or a massive cover up is underway, leading him to a path of his own reckoning with the sordid truth of the triple murders.
Inspired by true events, readers are already describing Neal's newest book, THE KILL as "riveting," "gripping," "couldn't put it down."

this is a very good read ... it's twisting all over the place in confusion that the author finally pulls together at the end.
