Waw!! that's all I can say. And that ending, hmmm... it had me in shambles. Ms. Fredricks starts us off with a riveting and gut wrenchingly dark start to Reckless. Chapter one definitely epitomizes the name of the novel as well as setting the pace for a gripping storyline.
Living on the streets for numerous years. Hungry, malnourished, beaten and raped. Ben has nothing to lose when he steps into the Vipers presence. Looking for a way off the streets, he bargains for a chance to join the lethal MC.
I'd lived my life in the shadows until now but here I was, totally exposed and in the middle of a nightmare.
Saved from the streets at sixteen, Tight (Ben) Everly became the Sergeant-at-Arms of The Black Viper MC. Years later, Tight has made a name for himself. Along with being the most deadly member of the MC, he's seeking revenge on an enemy MC, that brutally took the life of the Club's Queen. The Prez's Old Lady. A woman that mothered him, when he was taken in, and showered him with love.
Tight has been having nightmares from his past, that weighs heavily upon his shoulders. Sweet memories of a young girl, Sasha, that gave herself over to the lost boy. A boy that wanted to give her everything, but couldn't even fathom tarnishing her beautiful soul. He had nothing to offer her, living on the streets, scrounging around for food. Leaving her behind was the hardest decision he has ever made. But he knew it would be for the best. She was his salvation.
As Tight puts these memories to bay, he gets himself shot. In recovery at the hospital, he meets a young woman by the name of Julie, a woman whose touch electrifies him. Something about Julie reminds him of his Sasha. As he pursues her, in efforts to force Julie to admit she is Sasha, his enemies come looking for him. One way or the other they will take him out.
Both Tight and Sasha's demons will haunt them, secrets will be revealed, and identities of dead men will transcend the grave to choak the life out of the living. Sasha's owns fears and her past will bring the wrath of some deadly enemies upon the MC.

This was a thrilling read by Micki Fredricks. I read this in one sitting and couldn't seem to get enough. The feelings of despair still hangs tightly to my heart, as I traverse in my mind the next instalment. Wonderfully developed, with flamboyant and fierce secondary characters. Something about Braxton is getting me excited. Maybe a book for him *wink*

5 "KEEP IT TIGHT" STARS!!!!!!
You are going to be hooked from the first chapter. You are going to devour it in one sitting that is for sure.
Reckless Fear has a brilliant storyline, full of secrets and events that will have you at the edge of your seat. You would think that because it is a MC book you are going to read the same thing as always, only sex and some alphas, do not get me wrong I love those things, and yes, it does have them, BUT the way the author developed the story is what make it different and absolutely addictive.
Tight & Sasha. They thought that they were from different worlds but they were so wrong. He thought that he could not protect her, and she thought he was her salvation. Little did they know the consequences of that night, the night they gave themselves to each other, would be what brand them for life.
Fate put them in a bad place since the beginning. And not satisfied with that, it is still playing with them. After many years, they will have to face the consequences of their actions, but this time they will have the chance to do it together.
It will be enough?
**I have to mention that not only will you have great main characters but also some funny and interesting second characters that will leave you wanting more about them.**
Can not wait for round two. Jeez that ending.

Wow... what a book! This was definitely a 5 star read for me that left me wanting more!! This is a hardcore MC book... nothing fluffy in here whatsoever!
It starts out pretty gritty and we learn exactly what kind of life Tight lived. He had it really tough when he was younger, but he is a survivor. The book flows so nicely with plenty of action and crisp writing. I was enjoying it so much that when I looked at how far I'd read (40% or so at that point) and I didn't know who the heroine was in the story. Well, I quickly found out and there were some twists I didn't see coming. Sasha, the heroine also had a tough upbringing. She was stubborn, but real and I liked her feisty attitude. However, I felt something was off with her as I read. Again, more twists and turns and BAM a huge secret is revealed and the story ends!!!! I'm not a fan of cliffhangers because I'm not a patient girl but this one was major!! Overall, the cliffy was worth it because the book is SOO GOOD! I got all the feels while reading this and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that can handle a hardcore MC story!! Now I must stalk the author to see when the next book comes out because I will be dropping everything to read it!!

A bomb has exploded in my brain … what the hell did I just read; wait not read, devour in one sitting. Ben “Tight” Everly, Sergeant at Arms, that’s what … and the Black Vipers M.C. Good gawd. This is one where you don’t want to read “this is a work of fiction.” Hell no please make Tight Everly real. I don’t know who Robin Harper is either but the cover; yeah I need to give the lady a fist bump.
Chapter one gives us insight into Ben Everly’s life ten years prior. Its not a pretty one to say the least; in fact its cringe worthy. Having nothing else to lose at sixteen, Ben sets his plan into motion. He knows he will either leave the warehouse in a body bag which at this point is fine with him or with Pops Cole, President of the Black Vipers.
Springing forward to present day Tight’s dreams are screwing with him. The demons that burned his soul were catching up to him. Avenging Gen’s death was just one priority on his list no matter what Pop’s said. His best friend Braxton, VP of the club understood. Gen was a force to be reckoned with and was the only person since “her” that made him feel worth anything. Walking into a the fires of hell were nothing for Tight and he was about to head in and face whatever he had to until every last monster from the Dark Riders was dead.
Sasha Campbell couldn’t believe the man she saw at the hospital remembered her. It was time to run. She couldn’t be near him again. The danger that lurked around her waiting to gut her again, any chance he got taking away another piece of her was threatening. She was broken, scarred and had lost her heart a long time ago. Knowing Tight knew who she really was put everyone in jeopardy. Everything she had accomplished just went up into flames with Tight Everly walking straight through them coming for her. Secrets that couldn’t ever be told were hanging on the edge of her tongue. He would kill her when he found out about her past. She should have run when she had the chance.
There are exceptional secondary characters that I will beg for personal stories on. Braxton .. yup gotta have it. The MC men are not to be toyed with; that is evident. They will kick your ass, put you in the ground and walk away with a smile on their face. HELL YES! I know Im not right! LOL! But Micki you are a genius!
I have never in my life read a more bang up, holy shit, what the junk just happened cliff hanger in years. I have no idea what the hell just happened. But it threw me into a tailspin and whacked me upside the head. This is a very brutal storyline and its soooo good. In fact its more than that … its brilliant. What I need to know is when will I get round two? Im a Tight Everly junkie and am going to definitely need a support group along with counseling after this one.
Click this one up friends and buckle in because you are in for one messed up mind frick.

Holy hell. Something is seriously wrong with me. No matter how many times I read those tattooed bikers with a mouth that will drive my parents insane, I just CANNOT seem to EVER GET ENOUGH!! I think it's permanently embedded in my DNA to love and want something that I know might not be the best in real life (experiences have proven why I mainly stick with fictional bikers..)
With RECKLESS FEAR, we get a somewhat different MC story. I was so surprised to find that not lot of steamy romance scenes happened, but in all honesty it didn't bother me so much.
I didn't mind that the prominent element of the chemistry for starters was through the dirty biker talk and the possessive, alpha vibes that Tight the Sergeant-at-Arms of The Black Vipers MC exuded.
Following that, we delve into his emotional battle in not only trying to figure out what the hell is going on with his life and what he is doing for his club, but what he feels towards Sasha Campbell.
DARK.
SOULFUL.
EMOTIONAL.
DEEP.
DIFFERENT.
REGRET.
SEXY.
ROMANCE.
LOVE.
TRUTH.
REVENGE.
BETRAYAL.
One thing, I only gave it a 4.5 star because I personally wished I could have connected with the characters on a deeper level. I know this is an element that maybe shouldn't hinder the rating of any book, but with every review comes the personal perspective. So although another reader might not feel the same way, I was just a little sad that I couldn't will myself to fall head over heels for Sasha and Tight's way of getting back together. There is nothing wrong in that part of the story, at all, I loved it. I just wish I could have connected a little stronger.. I hope that makes sense and helps in seeing what I was trying to explain?
I think it's safe to say that Tight and Sasha had a relationship that would be envied by many, especially when you think about second chances and all things twisted.
Tight has a past that has taken a piece of his soul, and from what he thinks, has made a black mess. He constantly considers himself as a walking devil with revenge on his mind and a want for someone that he knows he shouldn't need..
Sasha cannot deny the unreal attraction and fire towards Tight but unlike him, she isn't set in knowing what she wants. Yes she can't stop her strong feelings for him. Yes she has the word "betrayal" constantly making a center stage appearance in her daily life. BUT. Tight!!!
Experience a story that will make you wish for so much more!! THANK BLOODY HELL there is another one after this one.. I need more of Micki Fredricks's writing and dark stories! This was your first book that I read, so thank you so much for the ARC of a story that I will be recommending to every human that passes by. I am so serious. One cannot simply read an MC book with a dark, messed up but all too consuming biker without at least screaming to their best friend about it..

Josie's Review
I am a sucker for MC reads and when an author throws in a dark theme into the mix, I am done for. Reckless Fear was nothing that I expected. I was not prepared for all the feelings I felt while read this book. The author did an amazing job with the plot and character development in this story.
The opening of Reckless Fear started out in the past and was intense, powerful and enticing. I could not put the book down after reading that one chapter. Reckless Fear is full of secrets and events that unfold bit by bit throughout the book. Ms. Fredricks does not takes this MC book the usual route we are used to. Yes we have an alpha kick ass possessive Biker and some really great dirty hot sex, but the author took the story down a much darker route.
Tight is the Sargent of Arms for the Black Viper MC. From the very start of the story we see how hard this young boy had it in life. Tight lived in streets and had to fight for survival. Naturally his youth has made him tough and cold hearted. He does not regret much in life, not even all the wrong he has done for the club. His only regret is the loss of the one girl who had stolen his heart. Tight is tortured every night by the memories of that one night. He is unable to move on and constantly wonders what ever happened to her.
Sasha’s character at first was a hard one for me to crack. Right away I could tell there something more to this character. She was hiding and running from something evil. Sasha tries to be strong but when fate brings her face to face with Tight, her strong facade begins to crumble. Tight’s presence is enough to make her want what she can never have and that is Tight. She is hiding a terrible and painful secret, and being in Tight’s presence is enough to get them both killed.
Tight and Sasha had one beautiful night ten years ago, one that resulted in consequences that will follow them for the years that follow. I want to say while reading this story, their story tore me apart. The words written and the plot had my heart racing. The author did a marvelous job in slowly revealing the truth behind Tight and Sasha’s past and showing just how disturbing things were. The odds were stacked against them 10 years ago and nothing has changed. Fate brought them back together, and this time when all is revealed they will face things together. Can Tight and Sasha’s love survive the secrets and revelations and come out on top? Will fate once again keep Tight and Sasha apart? Click this puppy and find out.

Tight Everly, omg he's been through brutal life since young.
As Sergeant-at-Arms of the Black Vipers M.C. the brutality still going on around him,
but now he's the one who deliver it. Yups he's a badass and hot SOB.
Sasha Campbell, she's a strong damage woman, her past is so brutal
and it still hunting her and chasing her. What happened to her breaks my heart.
Can this two damage people survive together? Be each other salvation?
Or they'll be separated because two people from different world wasn't meant to be together in the first place?
You have to read this...it's a must read MC book.
It's MC book...It's a dark book...and there are so many twists.
The characters are so strong and I love all their banter.
This book got me on my toes the whole time, the twist, the hard life of MC members, the gun and the blood, yup i can't put this book down.
This book is not all about brutal stuff, there's also funny moments (thanx to Braxton and Stash) and hot stuff too ;)
That's why I Flove it.
You got the thrill, you got the hot stuff, you got the laugh...so you have to read it ;)

Micki Fredericks has definitely done it again with giving her readers an incredible book to devour and I do mean devour. I was gifted an ARC of this book and read it in the same day because it is that good. I was traveling and that always seems to be a good time for me to read. When I arrived at my destination I still had about a third of the book to read so I simply gave my apologies to those there and retired to my bedroom to finish the book. It was that good.
The book weaves a story about a motorcycle club called The Black Vipers and Ben “Tight” Everly, Sergeant at Arms is the main character that this first in the series focuses on. His name alone is perfect. Tight. Doesn’t that just conjure up images without even seeing the scintillating book cover? The author did an amazing job of developing the character while giving insight into both his current situation and his past, which helps the character develop right before the eyes of the reader. Not only is Tight very real the entire story is almost too real in parts.
I love books that take me away to a world that is far removed from my own daily life experiences and this book definitely is not my world so it fit that bill. Yes, there is violence and some profanity but it is about a motorcycle club and it seemed to be a very realistic portrayal of what that life would be like for those who are caught up in it.
Written with real passion and skill this book will be one that I will go back and read again because it was so enjoyable. I was pulled in from the very first sentence and could not put it down. Micki Fredericks has several books under her belt already but I have to say this one is my favorite so far. Her character development and writing style is top notch and one that will pull readers in even if they think they are not motorcycle club fans.
The last sentence of the book gives the reader a hint of the intensity: “Sin is never free. I’m sorry you had to pay for mine.” Yes, there is intensity in this book that will keep any reader turning pages quickly.
When I finished the book I messaged the author and told her that I wasn’t ready to let Tight go and fortunately the good news for readers like me is that this series will continue and hopefully we will see much more of Tight in future books.
My advice? Get this book the minute you can. It is an incredible piece of writing that will keep you entertained and make you want even more. Thank goodness there will be more.

OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK! It starts out with a bang, and the intensity just goes up from there. The character development is great, and I'm intrigued by the secondaries as well, hoping some of them will get their own story. A fast paced, exciting, and well written story line flows very well. Micki Fredricks does an amazing job with the twists and turns that unravel slowly. The story had me hooked from cover to cover, kept my heart racing, and now I just want to scream obscenities at her for getting left hanging like that at the end. I have to say that I've gotten a bit worn out by MC novels lately so I stopped reading them, but this one intrigued me so I picked it up. I am glad that I gave it a try.
The beginning of the book was quite dark, but I didn't think much of the rest was at all.
I really liked Tights character and Sasha too. I did feel like the fact that they were both so stuck on a one night stand from so long in the past was a bit too insta love for me though. Although Sasha had much more of a reason than Tight did.
I will say that I didn't care for the over sight that EVERY other member of the MC went by their regular names, not their road names, except for Pops and Tight which was weird to me.
I liked the different take on the MC life and just how it can be living that life.
The writing was pretty good though and that made it an easy and nice read that only had one erotic scene. However, the insta-love and the MC errors kind of ruined it a bit for me. The storyline was great and I really appreciated the uniqueness of it.

I was instantly drawn into Tight's world. The beginning starts when Ben was a lost teenager he couldn't handle being on the streets anymore. He had nothing to lose he reached out to the Black Viper's. He knew they would either kill him or help him. It jumps years into the future when Ben now Tight was a man. A man who is loyal to his club. The club that saved him and is now the most important thing in his life. I wasn't expecting the ending but it really was a perfect way to end this book.
This isn't your typical motorcycle club book, it's a different take on the club world. I really enjoyed Tight's character. Even though we didn't see much from him I am hoping Braxton's story is next. I can't wait to read more in this series.

Things go wrong in a bust and Tight ends up in the hospital and when he wakes up he realizes his night nurse is his first love Sasha. Sasha has had just as miserable a past, if not worse. Tight wants Sasha to be with him but at the same time is worried about what Sasha is hiding from her past. When it all comes to light it’s heart breaking.
This book is an emotional roller coaster. I started out laughing my a** off and ended crying my eyes out. I enjoyed getting to know each of the characters and I look forward to reading the rest of Tight’s story.

The very first chapter had me - hook, line and sinker. I have read my share of MC books and this is very high up on my list as one of the best. The entire book, from start to finish, is just phenomenal. Each character left me wanting to know more. More about them. More about how they got in to the Black Vipers. Just - more!!!
And Tight... whew. Being so rough and rugged, I loved that you also got to see his softer side. A side he only shows to Sasha. The emotion, the sorrow of their love affair, it gutted me.
But don't think this book will leave you all sad and weepy. No, it's more of an 'edge-of-your-seat-holy-crap' type of book. My heart was racing, my palms were sweaty. You might think you know how things are going to all play out? But you don't. So you just need to read it.
Amazing book. I cannot wait for the follow-up.

Why oh why has it taken me so long to read anything from this author. This was a fantastic read that I inhaled in one sitting. I'll certainly be adding her other books to my wish list.
Tight and Sasha are the two main characters. They have both been through a nightmare childhood. My heart ached for them both. When fate brings Sasha back into his life he's shocked. She was the light in his life years ago and now she's so near him he can still feel the attraction.
Their lives are about to change in a way they couldn't predict.
This is a well written gritty MC read. Although this story is on the dark side there are some great laugh out loud moments that I really liked.
This is definitely one of my favourite MC reads this year. After that ending I'm so looking forward to reading book two- hope we won't be waiting too long :)

From the first chapter your giving a insight into Tights life 10 years before which helps with the storyline and connection to this particular character. I loved these two and I have to say after that ending I really want more now.

This was short, dark and twisted tale where secrets and vengeance are the driving force behind a war.
The beginning of the tale though is about a young boy, tired of his life on the streets and desperate for an out. He finds this out in a motorcycle gang... "I'd stepped out of the shadows and into the sights of the worst type of predators." Not just any motorcycle gang, but one of the biggest and baddest around. His entry into this gang starts a series of events that no one expected, it also marked the end of his life as Ben and the beginning of his life as Tight.
Over the years there is one event that never leaves, the image never fades and the feelings never dim. "I'd done so many twisted things in my life to get to where I was now. If I could just touch her once, it would make all the wrong I'd done in my life fade away." For years he has regretted leaving behind this girl but his life wasn't what she needed at the time. Now time and many, many evil deeds have him longing for something good and pure in his messed up life. I really like Tight, he was pretty bad ass. His family are his brothers and he is loyal to the core.
Sasha is the one he left behind and now by happenstance he is back and reeking havoc on her psyche. She left that part of her soul die when he left and she's not sure she even wants it back. The chemistry still burns hotter than ever but her life is not meant for his. Like Tight, Sasha has had to do some unspeakable things, she is no longer the young girl with dreams of a different life. Her past is dark but there are pieces we still missing. My heart bled for the parts we did get and the choices she has had to make.
This book was a one sitting read, there are pieces that need to be fit together and questions that make it impossible to turn away. The chemistry between Tight and Sasha is undeniable but they harbor secrets that will get in the way. There is a war going on; rivals out for blood, a dirty government out to end it and no one is safe. I am left on pins and needles waiting for the next installment because the cliff I was left upon is paper thin.

This is my first book by Micki Fredricks and I flipping loved it!!!! Micki's development of this story not only makes it different than a majority of MC books I have read but it is positively addictive!!
This book will hook you from the first few pages!! I couldn't put it down. It starts you out in Ben's life 10 years prior and to say that chapter is cringe worthy is an understatement he didnt know if he would be walking out of the warehose with the Black Vipers in a body bag or on his own two feet. Up until that point his life had not been a cake walk and he really had nothing to lose either way. Jump 10 years and Ben “Tight” Everly is now Sergeant at Arms for the Black Vipers M.C. and Holy Hell is he Sin worthy!!!
Tight & Sasha's story is not what you are expecting. I was thrown through a loop when it finally came to light and clicked into place. Tight always thought Sasha was to good for him and they were from different worlds... What he doesnt know is he was completely wrong!! After the night they gave one another each other for the first time they didnt realize how that one instance would end up shaping their lives forever.
Sasha has not had it easy from the night she gave Ben "Tight" everything and Tight doesn't know exactly what that night cost him and her.
Fate brought them back together or did it? There's more to their story and you will be in complete and utter shock when you realize exactly what I'm talking about.
I do hope with that ending that its not the complete end of them. I hated how it ended but OMG it was such a good way to end it and keep you on the edge of your seat because I am still there 2 days later!! I need more of Sasha and Tight!!

I'm not even sure I know where to begin with this review. From the moment we meet Tight, he's a force to be reckoned with. It was definitely unconventional how he ended up with The Black Vipers, and do that as a teenager and you're confronting not only the Road Captain, but also the President of said MC? That takes balls my friend.
Tight has made a name for himself over the 10 years he's been with The Black Vipers, and definitely made enemies, but there is still someone from his past haunting him, and the guilt he's been feeling over the way they ended is still plaguing him.
Sasha was an innocent teenager who fell in love with the wrong boy and paid dearly for giving away her heart (and something else). As much as she wants to hate Tight, there is still that connection between them that never went away, even after a decade apart. But there are quite a few secrets that Sasha has been keeping, and it's not until the last chapter that all is revealed.
This is book with some heavy events that happen, but there are a couple of laugh out loud moments (Grandma Lil for one, and the catheter removal scene). But Tight is determined to reclaim his woman and make good on the mistakes he made all those years ago. And that is what I love about Tight: he knows how he messed up and he wants to do whatever it takes to make things right between him and Sasha.

All it took was bloodshed and an act of crazy violence. He knew he wouldn't survive much longer on the streets and he knew from that day all that would matter to him was his club and his mc family. He owed them his life. He has never been in a relationship. Club girls have served their purpose and they know the score. There has only been one girl to touch his heart and she still invades his thoughts and his dreams.
Sasha Campbell has only loved one boy. He touched her heart and she gave him her innocence and then he just left her. She went on with her life but she only survived. Doing what she has to. When she least expects it she comes face to face with the boy who has matured to a man. She'll never forgive him leaving when she needed him the most.
Brought back together by coincidence....or fate?. Tight can't believe his eyes. Is it really her? Sasha still feels that attraction towards Tight. She can't let him know it's really her. Now she has to be the one to leave.

The story starts in a dingy warehouse, where our Hero [Tight] is introduced - he's homeless, alone, and young.
While he's known fear his whole life, or what we're told about his life, he seems to be given a chance at improving his situation thanks to the Black Vipers!
Being an outlaw biker, in the middle of a war is a difficult place to be. Each club has their casualties but there seems to be no end in sight.
On top of this, he harbors a regret - just one awful regret in his entire life...one regret that haunts him daily.
Until that 1 regret saunters back into his life...
Sasha has demons of her own and isn't prepared to deal with the one man that destroyed her life...or is she?
This story was interesting, it was different from other MC stories I've read. While the story is based on the bikers, the actual club isn't the main focus. There's really no clearly defined "Good Guy", but I was hoping they'd find their happiness.
I can't really say this is a romance, as there was no "courting" going on...more of them talking, a bit of "touching", and 1 full erotic scene. Being that these characters were familiar with each other, I understood the comfort they had with one another. On the same token I felt like there wasn't really enough time for them to build anything...
That being said, I was NOT prepared for the ending!

Sasha has demons of her own and isn't prepared to deal with the one man that destroyed her life...or is she?
This story was interesting, it was different from other MC stories I've read. While the story is based on the bikers, the actual club isn't the main focus. There's really no clearly defined "Good Guy", but I was hoping they'd find their happiness.
I can't really say this is a romance, as there was no "courting" going on...more of them talking, a bit of "touching", and 1 full erotic scene. Being that these characters were familiar with each other, I understood the comfort they had with one another. On the same token I felt like there wasn't really enough time for them to build anything...
That being said, I was NOT prepared for the ending!

This is the first book by Micki Fredricks that I have had the pleasure of reading and I seriously cannot wait until the next one comes out! She did a great job with this book and it had me from the very beginning.
The book starts out 10 years before to when Ben becomes Tight. He is staying in a warehouse and all of a sudden The Black Vipers are there and he knows there is only two ways he will leave there. One in a body bag or what he is hoping as a prospect for The Black Vipers. Little does he know that what happens in that warehouse will come back to bite him 10 years later. Fast forward 10 years and Tight is having nightmares and is very unsettled. He lives with the regret of leaving Sasha behind when he promised that he would come back and take her away and to protect her. He knew that he couldn't do as he promised and regrets lying to her and leaving the only person he has let into his heart.
Sasha waited for Ben to come back for her and then she realized as the days went by that he wouldn't. She was devastated and she will pay dearly for her time with Ben. Ten years later while at work fate steps in and brings them into each others lives. Little does Ben know how their one night has now shaped her life. She is no longer that sweet innocent girl that Ben left behind.
What happens when Tight finds out what she went through when he left? Will Tight be able to protect her? Will Tight be able to even save himself?
This book really took me by surprise and I was not expecting the ending the way it went. I LOVED that fact. This book was so good and I really can't wait for the next.

Ben spent his young years on the streets. He puts a plan in motion that will save his life as he becomes part of the Black Vipers MC. Even though he is part of the MC he is still haunted by his past. The very women who is part of the past walks back into his life. When he finds Sasha he vows to never let her go again. Sasha is also haunted by the past and holds secrets that can tear them apart. Tight refuses to let her go and even though she brings danger he sets out to prove to her that they belong together.

I devoured this MC read because it encompassed all that there should be in an MC read. Dark, gritty, violent, and an alpha males. It is not a read for the faint of heart (as in the warning in the blurb). Even though the story focuses on Tight and Sasha you get to see the secondary characters that make this story so great. Granny will make you laugh so hard you will cry. The MC men are dark, raw alpha males and you will want a story about each of them.
Settle in for one he!! of a ride with the Black Vipers. From violence to lost love and everything in between will have you holding on tight. However that won't prepare you for the cliffhanger that will knock you out. I can't wait for the next book.

This is the second book I have read from Mrs. Fredricks. And to say I have been waiting for her next book is an understatement. But I have to say I'm so glad I waited and so glad I got the chance to review this book. I will say this about this book Mrs. Fredrick's sticks to her dark roots in this book. Also I will warn you I wouldn't necessarily call this a cliffhanger ending, ok it is kind of a cliffhanger. So if you don't enjoy cliffhanger endings you may want to wait for the next book before delving into this book.

Okay, normally I wouldn’t go right into my review saying that this is a cliffhanger especially since the author even states that this book wasn’t the end of Tight’s story, but holy hell with that ending I have so many questions that I need answers too. I kept trying to turn the page on my kindle because I needed more. I needed to know what happened. I am not going to say what but I swear I may or may not have thrown my kindle and swore up a blue streak when it finally clicked in my head that we have to wait to see what will be happen next.
If you are looking for a sweet, happy go lucky romance then Reckless Fear is not for you. Reckless Fear is dark, gritty, dirty and will have you wondering if Tight will ever find his version of happiness. He hasn’t had a good life, hell that is an understatement to be honest. He has blood on his hands and isn’t ashamed of it. He may be this tough, crazy biker but he has a weakness, one that he isn’t willing to just give up and that could end up to be a reckless mistake on his part.
I really hope that the author will release the next book soon. I need to know what happens, this isn’t even an “I want to know” situation, it is an “I need to know because if I don’t I may get violent” type of situation. Reckless Fear will suck you in, keep you on the edge of your seat and have you wondering what will happen next.

This book. Where do I begin? First, let me tell you that I've been in such a flow recently, finding and reading several really, really good books. This one is certainly not an exception. I genuinely loved it.
It was nothing like I'd expected. It was so much more! I swear the suspense was fucking killing me! And the love. Tight's love for Sasha. It was so fucking heartbreaking and beautiful. And hot. But mostly so damn beautiful it made me cry on more than one occasion, and the book is only 134 pages!
"I vowed to myself... I would be her freedom"
To leave us with that cliffhanger though? Oh my god. I want to know what happens next, RIGHT NOW! Does anyone know when the next book is out? If so, please let me know!
With that, I can recommend this book to anyone who loves a great MC-club-book, but more so, to anyone who loves a great fucking love story, with a big amount of suspense.

This is my first book I've read by this author... Let me tell you something... certainly wont be last!!!
Holy shit!!! I absolutely love reading MC, Dark Romance... This book just nailed every single one!! The twists that keeps me on my toes!!
OMG just reading the first chapter where it takes us back to 10 years earlier when Ben met the Vipers for the first time, taking a HUGE risk once he approached them knowing he might not live another day if all goes pear shaped, You could feel what he's gone thru in his younger years...
He told the Vipers that he will do anything they ask of him & he will do it without question... shows just how far he will go!
When he left with them he became Ben *Tight* Everly.
We also meet Sasha Campbell - a strong, damaged girl with her own demons...
Not going to say anything more, other the fact if you like reading MC, dark & raw then clearly you should pick this up as I ABSOLUTELY loved reading this, couldn't put it down.
I'm so looking forward to read more written by this author.

Tight Everly was a kid living on the streets before he became involved with the Black Vipers MC. The only positive thing in his life was a short lived relationship with a girl named Sasha. He took a chance getting involved with the MC in attempt to save himself. Ten years later, he is sergeant at arms of the club and fully entrenched in the life. When he gets injured in an ambush, he finds himself in the hospital being taken care of by Sasha. Sasha has changed her name and is hiding from her past and part of that past is Tight Everly. There’s a lot he doesn’t know about Sasha and her life and she'd like to keep it that way.
This was a great first book for this series. Ms. Fredricks drew me in with the picture of Tight's teenage life and his desperation to get off the streets, even if it meant joining a brutal MC. Sasha's fear and anger are palpable in her dealings with Tight. Her desperation to get away from Tight in order to save them both is realistic. My only wish was that this was a standalone book so we could get the whole story of Sasha and Tight. I am looking forward to continuing the story in the next book.

Oh how I loved this book!!! Reckless Fear (The Black Viper Series, Book One) by Micki Fredericks was absolutely fantastic!!! I could not put this book down for even a second as I was so engrossed in the story. Tight is the Sergeant At Arms of the Black Vipers MC. He survived a violent childhood, and is doing the same as an adult. He joined the Black Vipers MC when he was only sixteen. Sasha Campell is full of mystery. A strong woman with a cruel past, but a survivor as well. Tight's heart has belonged to one girl. Sasha gave him her innocence and then he just left. When fate brings them back to one another, will Sasha be able to forgive him? Where has Tight been? What happened to Sasha during all of that time? I guess you just need to read this learn the answers!!! The story had all the elements of a gripping MC read. This is a dark story filled with twists and turns that have you asking more quesitons and wanting answers now. Ahhh, but the ending!!!!! I can't wait for book two. Definitely hooked on this author! :)
