Rachel Fallon is gone. With everything changing at a pace she can't control, she isn't sure whose life she's living anymore. Is this the life she wants or the life everybody else wants for her? When Rachel decides to leave her fiancé, Tyler, and her best friend, Jordie behind, the journey to rediscovering herself takes her places that she never expected. It also leads her to meet someone who could be everything she wants. Her choices aren't easy ones and will bring her laughs, tears and heartbreak regardless of what she decides. All that matters is she's finally Finding Rachel.
What a wonderful addition to the Love Lies Bleeding Series. Finding Rachel is amazing. It follows the previous two books with angst, attraction, danger and hope. Rachel who ran away to find out who she really is, finds herself in Miami of all places. Once again I found myself not wanting to put this book down, and only did when I had to. I really have no words that won't give away this book. Just loved it. Rachel didn't just magically find herself which is real and I appreciated it. Love wasn't something she learned to do easily or accept easily either, which was also a plus for me. Read this book for yourself to learn all the hidden suspense inside. I will tell you Frank is also back in this and once again, plays a big role behind the scene as well as in person ( I love Frank)! 5/5 Cross posting to My Reading Reality
I will still always love "Finding Jordie" bestest of this whole series, this one is 2nd and followed up by Finding Nathan being in the 3rd spot for me, hope it is cool to pick faves in this series. I only found HJ Harley most recently ... loving her books and writing style. I love how you get a bit of romance, a backbone story, it is deep, there are reasons or substance there. Each character is so rich and well thought out. I might even love Rachel more than Jordie, which is saying a lot considering that is the book that pulled me in to enjoying HJ Harley writing ... but something about Rachel makes me really appreciate her past, her raw-ness, her life. Her personality, I love how she & Jordie react together, best friends, HOLLER! We could all use a Rachel in our lives, right? Must read series for sure. ( ;
Like every book that I find, I find them in the free section on iBooks. Finding Jordie was free and I quickly read that one. And like all of the other free books that are series, I went and purchased the other two from this series. I LOVED THIS SERIES!!! And I say that about all of the series that I finish. But I somehow relate to Rachel in a way that I never had with any other book character. I won't spoil this for anyone that hasn't read this series, but I'll just say that it was make you feel ALL THE FEELS!!!
Oh!! And if the rights from this series are bought, I would LOVE to play Rachel!!! ;) Short curly-haired girls are hard to find.
