Wonderful collection of fairy tales, fables and stories from around all the world. Nice cloth binding and good illustrations. I know it seldom matters for the subject audience, but I really appreciate that the stories are not the ones (or variants of the ones) you find "everywhere", but quite the opposite, there were none that I knew from before.

Took an awful lot of time to read through, not because it was bad but because I was prone to lose focus and neglect the type of stories the book contained.
It was a worthwhile read in the end, and although I would not read it for again for quite some time, due to most of the stories having to many similarities, it was an insight on how fairy-tails are told and how they differ globally.
I would consider this book, in my case, educational and insightful.
