This is a lovely, easily relatable insight into Alzheimers (how it can start and progress). Grace is asked to take meals over to her elderly neighbour and slowly builds a friendship. She notices as things change with Phyllis and she needs more help. A beautiful way of showing how Alzheimers impacts and how young children react and view these changes.

Phyllis & Grace is a tender story about a friendship that reaches beyond age and memory. Grace’s kindness toward Phyllis, her elderly neighbour living with dementia, offers a gentle and meaningful reminder that companionship and understanding can make a difference. A lovely picture book for families and young readers, with themes that can inspire conversations about empathy, care, and connection.

Art work is nice, the story is well intentioned but a bit boring.
