Interesting to follow along with, doesn't drag you down with too much grammar all at once. The self-assessment tests at the end of each couple of chapters were really helpful in making me revise what I've learned.

Minor complaint: the vocabulary was sometimes too tied to the context within the book and some words could not be found literally anywhere else.
