When Lisa wakes up in a dark, damp room, the first thing her eyes process is the toilet and sink residing in the same room as her. In her confused state, what will happen when her captor makes his first appearance? What happens when she recognises him... yet realises he is a complete stranger? Is her captor a threat to her life and if he is... will she be saved in time?

This is a short novel and first novel in The Revenge Series. This is not a standalone and is meant for mature readers only. (18+)

Good Story

I found the book Why Me? from a Goodreads book club discussion. I chose this book because it was the highest rated book on my Goodreads To Read list. The book Why Me? was a quick revenge story centered around a female character who gets abducted. I enjoyed this quick reading book and the storyline was interesting and flowed really well. The author did a great job of writing each chapter from the point of view of a separate character. I recommend this book for anyone that enjoys books about revenge.
