Not as good as the first one, still reads as mid tier fan fiction, the drama left at the end of the first novel is wrapped up far too quickly with no lasting effect on either one of them. The author repeats the story of the automatons as well, with characters acting like it was new. Honestly, I'll finish the series, but not recommend it.
Erik really follows character as set up in LeRoux's novel; some great plot development had me on the edge of my seat...read it in one day, couldn't put it down. I hope you continue with more Phantom books! Five stars!
