Blaze: An Unsuspecting Romance

I didn’t grow up within the club,
I grew up with a mom who was spaced out most of the time,
Who forgot she even had a child at home….
She only cared about her next fix,
And I had to fend for myself for as long as I can remember.
I had friends within the local MC,
Brothers who wanted me to join,
And I was all for it,
Until I realized my deadbeat dad was a brother,
And my best friend was my blood brother, who was shoved aside by the man who fathered me.
He wanted me to take on my blood brother's role,
A role he was forced to learn,
A role that tore away his childhood.
I didn’t want to take it; I didn’t want anything to do with the man who could shove his son aside and deny my paternity,
But I was convinced my brother would need me,
So, I joined for him, trying to be there,

I swore I’d never bring a woman who owns me into the club,
I swore I’d never settle for a forever, but more of a convenience.
I swore to just be there for my blood brother,
But I never thought she’d become everything,
I never thought she’d take my whole attention,
I never thought I would want a forever kind of love,
I didn’t think I was made for it, but she’s caught my attention,
She’s made me want more despite offering my cut to another,
I just don’t know how I can give her everything when my head is so messed up,
I don’t know how to open up to her, to let her in,
I don’t know how to choose her like she wants to choose me, but if I don’t, then I’ll lose her,
And I don’t know how I can survive in this world without her….

Until he bumped into my life like a tornado that I couldn’t seem to escape.
And he was all I could suddenly think about,
But he wasn’t mine, he was someone else's,
He was claiming her, yet we shared this undeniable connection.
He became the reason why I breathe,
And I let him in, I give him all of me, the good, the bad, and the ugly,
Only for him to throw it back into my face, reminding me he wasn’t mine.
And for once in my life, I want to fight for someone,
I want to fight for him,
But how do I prove to someone who is closed off that we belong together?
How do I prove that I’m his, that I always will be?
How do I show him we can make it together, and that I’ll become his heart, the reason why he breathes?
How can I prove to him that I’m his forever, unlike the other girl?

Blaze and Blaire
Blaire feels like everyone leaves her. Meaning,her,parents died her sister was a pos, so she was afraid at first to start anything with Blaze. Blaze has his own issues with who his parents were/are. But the,two of them together have a lot of chemistry.
I rated it 3 stars as I don't need to be reminded over and over again about his Father and his druggie Mother or Blaires abandonment issues. It gets,real repetitive.
Hey! What was up with Clark she didn't have to hit her Brother or Winter especially over,Belle!

Oh how I love it when C.L.McGinlay gives a random book drop! 🫶🏻
I didn’t know what u would think about Blaze, felt like he was quiet in the pervious books.
But omg I love him, how he was struggling with what his future would look like after who his parents are. He decides maybe it’s best to just have his F buddy as his old lady.
Then incomes Blair and once again another biker falls.
Blair hasn’t had it easy in life, her parents passed away when she was young and her older sister didn’t want to know.
She wanted to stay away from any relationship and she believed that if she got close to anyone they wouldn’t stay.
As always charlotte has the romance in the books but also the drama and suspense.
Now can we have the next book, because I’ve been waiting for crash’s forever!!! 🖤

Loving the Series
Blaze & Blair are a great couple, they’re interesting, and a roller coaster ride. Blaze’s had a poor family life growing up, his mom over dose and he buried her. Never wanted commitment or children so, he asks his childhood friend with benefits to be his old lady because there will be no love or children.
Blair loved and was loved whole heartedly by her parents they considered her their gift. Her parents died and her older sister refused to take care of her and she was put into foster care. She went through three foster homes before she was adopted, loved, abandonment issues, received degrees in accounting and became a nurse. Blair’s older sister is evil, entitled, and wants her inheritance by any means.
Plenty of push and pull, murder, mystery, self doubts, action, commitment issues, acceptance, and more. Great epilogue - 5 years into their future with three boys and a girl. HEA!

Amazing like always!
I love Charlotte McGinlay’s books. Read almost every single once and the MC and Bound books are my favourite.
Practically have a calendar reminder set for the 5th of every month. As much as I understand her ability and need to only release one book a month, I really wish it was more frequent.
Can’t wait for Crash’s book! Been going crazy trying to work out Belle’s background and reasons for her behaviour.
However, have noticed more typos with this series than the others. Easy to overlook but just something I have noticed.
Keep up the amazing stories. I love the soft hearted stories just as much as your previous dark character backgrounds and stories.

Kinda sad to say another miss for me. I’m giving up on this series. The characters isn’t likeable anymore and the story is repetitive and boring at this point.
And here comes my rant about Belle, because that’s been my thing with this series apparently..
I’m giving up. Especially since we now know about Crash and Belle .. or should I say Crash and Winter since Belle isn’t gonna be his love interest. And from what I read about his and Belles relationship (I wouldn’t really call it a relationship) he should be glad she didn’t leave his ass before. And yeah, his book is marked as cheating and well… now we know that the cheating it’s against Belle. But is it cheating when their relationship is nothing more than FWB kinda..?? I really hope Belle finds someone else and that she gets her HEA.

Abandoned Love
This love story is full of agnst and pain. He refuses to find love and she feels like it will only leave her so being along makes more sense. When they find eachother thoughts change but the people around them don't want that love to grow. When money means more to the people that they have grown up with people get hurt. When they fight their love they both realize that together they can heal one another

Thought this was best in series
There were still a fair amount of grammatical errors of the wrong words used but the story was actually one of her best so it was easy to overlook. There wasn’t a gut punch betrayal but I was ok with that as some of her MMC’s are unforgivable where as Blaze was a great character. I did struggle with the Clark issue at the end because I lost a ton of respect for her after that and I had already read her book but anyways. A good story I recommend.

Another MC story from Charlotte McGinlay that I thoroughly enjoyed and guaranteed I will be reading this book again.
She has a way of bringing broken characters together so well that you forget the dumbarse stuff the men do. She also writes fierce women which is a joy to read.

This was another bonkers read. Lots of angst, melodrama, and insta-lust. The brevity of this really diminished what could have been some emotionally impactful storytelling. But if you are looking for quick read with high heat, quick pacing, and MC light plotting, then this might be one for you.

Overall this book was good. I love this author for quick romance reads with some OW drama and a HEA. Most of her MMC tend to mess up and have to do quite a bit of groveling, Blaze knew what he wanted but because of his childhood and upbringing was struggling with committing to Blair. There is drama and suspense and a happily ever after. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.
