But in the spirit of the current American societal trend, why should I actually take responsibility for my own choices and and actions?

This was very similar to the first book: heavy on the sexy smut, lighter on the characterization, plot, etc., although this one did have a little more of those things than the first one.

Regardless, I didn't read this or the first one expecting those things, so I am VERY happy with my purchases aka some slam-bam-thank-you-ma'am with just enough plot to enable you to stay you aren't reading straight porn.

Jesus Fuck!

Let me just get this out the way ... I'm still not down with Karina's nickname for Dante in the bedroom. I'm not feeling it. Every time I read it, it felt out of place. However, what Dante calls Karina is perfectly spot on!! And that kids is only one of the many many many many phenomenally great things in this book. Their story is intense and intriguing and thought-provoking and a pantie-melting page turner. Not only was I waiting with baited breath for the next twist in plot, but I was waiting for the next bedroom scene just as much.

I just can't get enough of Dante. He continues to surprise me with his rough and raw exterior which is in total contrast to his nurturing charming inside. There's nothing better than a hero who exudes confidence, authority with a ruthless demeanor by just standing in a room but acts in the best interest of his loved ones. He's not selfish or self-involved. He's a man who's finally found his purpose ... Karina .

Disconnect begins exactly where Asunder leaves us. Logan has kidnapped Karina and the clock is ticking. Dante is on the hunt and nothing is stopping him from finding his baby girl **swoon**!
So Karina is found and Logan has fled, but not before he dropped a lot of confusing information in Karina's lap. Information that's rapidly turning this story into an amazing roller-coaster ride I'm not sure I'm gonna want to get off of!

I have to say, it takes a lot to impress me the way Phoenyx Slaughter has. I'm an avid reader so I've read every theme, every twist and turn to a trope, every style and probably every kind of character imaginable .... and she managed to blow me out of the water sky high! I am on the edge of my seat, but not just for Dante and Karina's story, but the entire Iron Bulls family. She's managed to hook me to their world. Yes, I want to see Dante & Karina in a HEA badly, but I'm ok with where they are right now. Because if you understand the MC world, then you know it's more about the family than the individual. So the stories will intertwine. I have no doubt in my mind they will. If you paid attention to what was happening in this story then you've already begun to see it. And it's gonna get ugly #TRUTH but it's also gonna get goooooood.

Thoughts from my review of Asunder: This reader thinks this story is going to skyrocket into greatness and take us on a twisty windy road full of pantie-melting scorching hot sex and tender moments and maybe a little suspense here and there. AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE!

Those thoughts still stand tenfold! If you're an MC reader and want a story with grit and heart, love and family, growth and maturity, truth and consequences, well written and well developed with a hell of a story-line ... you just found it!

I loved the dirty goodness of Asunder.
But I think I almost love Disconnect even more. I don't want to spoil anything, but the second installment in the Iron Bulls MC series is FANTASTIC.
Dante makes me melt. I want Luck's story, like now! I even warmed up to the president, Romeo.
And it's still really, really filthy.

I am so into this series it's ridiculous!
The author was so sweet as to send me an ARC and I was thrilled to receive it!
Karina and Dante are amazing together. She brings out the sweet side of the tough biker. Karina has never really had anyone to love and take care of her the way she deserves and Dante does that. These books are so addictive and I'm kinda sad that I rushed through b/c now I'm stuck having to wait again for the next one. It ends on a mild cliffhanger, but tolerable b/c at least you know where the main characters stand.
Job well done Ms Phoenyx slaughter! Looking forward to more.

Another great book by Phoenyx Slaughter! You don't find too many books that pick up right where the one before it in a series leaves off. Dante is a force like no other and surprises you at every turn. The way this bad ass biker who never gave a shit about any female is determined to find his women and get her back and get revenge on the brother who took her. He protects, cares, provides for her. There are three words I didn't think i would be reading in this second book at least not from Dante and not for him to say them first. I actually thought Karina would say them. A lot happens in this book and I definitely can't wait for the next book. I loved everything from the characters to the events that happen. a smaller cliffhanger then Asunder. If you haven't read the first book read it before reading Disconnect events happen in the first one that you need to know before reading this one. I couldn't put it down and had to keep reading it until I finished. Phoenyx you have started a great series and I can't wait for more!

Holy hell, I need a Dante in my life!! He is rough, blunt, sexy, protective, and has a heart for his Karina.

Disconnect picks up where Asunder left off. Dante has to find his girl! This book was the perfect segue into the May/December, big bad biker/naive baby girl relationship between Dante and Karina. Secrets were revealed but new ones surfaced. I never saw the ending coming! WTH?!

Dante and Karina are a hot couple! These two are fireworks when they are dirtying up the sheets!! I love them together!
I do hope Karina finds her inner strength as the series progresses. I want her to blossom as a badass, intelligent, independent woman.

I still want Luck's story!! He is sex on a stick!!

Disconnect and Asunder are for readers who like their men to talk dirty, and their women to love it!

Still love this series! I love how you get both characters points of view. The sex is totally hot and you can really feel the connection between Dante and Karina. Excellent job on the cliffhanger (grrr). Now I have to impatiently wait for the next one.

I didn't think the author would be able to top Asunder. It was just so over-the-top dirty-hot that I figured she couldn't do it again.
Well, she did.
But along with the dirty-hot she also brought so many emotions to this short read. I'm in awe of the layers and complexity to this series that on surface seems like "biker porn" but is really so much more than that.
Karina's fears and feelings rang true to me. I remember feeling the same way my senior year of high school and I didn't even have a delicious Dante waiting at home for me!
Dante balances his wants, urges and desires with what is best for his baby girl. Or at least he tries to. That's the sign of a true dominant Alpha man to me. Biker or not.
My heart broke for Luck and I kind of want to see him have a 3-way with Dante and Karina!
Romeo and Athena were too cute and I hope they end up together!
Oh and that last sex scene. Holy hotness! Real men indeed, Miss Slaughter.
Wow!
Now I wait until the next installment. At least I have the first two books to read over and over to keep me until Entwined.

More dirty, sexy times from the filthiest biker to grace the pages of an MC Romance. But you know what, this also ended up being one hell of a romantic story as well. Dante's love for Karina shines through. Her sweetness and love for him is almost painful since she's led a bit of a lonely life up until meeting him. Together they just work!
Loved this installment.
Can't wait for Entwined.

That's my dirty Dante girls.


This picks up with Logan on the run and being hunted by Dante. He would do anything to protect what is his and that happens to be Karina. To be honest she really pisses me off! How much could she have possibly cared/loved Logan and behave the way she has. Not taking anything he said into consideration. Oh believe me when I say I'm in love with Dante but yet I always have a huge soft spot for the ones who were in the picture first. I don't like them being cast aside like they meant nothing... such as triangles (yet that just happens to be a favorite of mine along with bf=lovers)

Oh the sex is still so damn steamy *fan my bits* and Karina and Dante realize that they are much more to each other than just a "piece." This badass biker is so possessed by her that he becomes a bit sappy/softie in his thoughts. Again fine by me, a huge badass biker that can be brought to his knees. In this case by an 18 year old in high school student... ugh, I can't get use to that.

Anyway, by the end here (cliff) we have another huge surprise, my opinion way bigger than book #1 and I pray I get some Logan action that knocks me off my feet because as of now, he just seems to be floating around somewhere and there has got to be more of him out there! I mean isn't he the "big" piece here? He is responsible (without knowledge) for Dante/Karina coming together. He had things he never got a chance to tell her. She may be 18 yet she is way immature... she was in fear of Logan when he tried to make her listen and went back boo~hooin' to Dante? Whatever.

I loved book one in this series,though
I hated the cliffhanger phoenyx proved
it was well worth the wait. Disconnect
also has a cliffhanger but don't let that discourage you because it only intensifies
the absolute pleasure of each book.

My love for Karina only seems to grow,
she's sweet & innocent but so very naughty.
Her love & passion & desire to protect
dante is played out on each and every page.
The fear she experiences in this book just
broke my heart & god the secret she revealed about why she wanted to hurt Logan in
the beginning was gut wrenching. The betrayal,
lies & secrets that came crashing down around Karina at the hands of her father was awful,
I can't wait to read more about those in the
next book.
Dante, I've loved that hot alpha, down right dirty man from the beginning but the level of emotions I felt from him in this book was amazing. It hurt that he felt like he let
Karina down even though he didn't. I love
how he struggled to tell Karina how he felt
but words didn't matter because you could feel the love, you could see it in his actions and
the way he protects her no matter what is beautiful.
What can I say about Luck that sexy dominant
man is gonna get himself in trouble if he's
not careful. I can't wait to see what may come
of his forbidden desires and if "Daddys" gonna let his "Baby Girl" out to play ;)
And Romeo is one dirty old man..lol..who
seems to be keeping alot of secrets.
Overall each book gets more amazing and I'll

Wow....it's hot, it's dirty and it's fabulous


I summed up the previous book 'Asunder' with
'Cliffhanger, tons of sex and not really that much story......and yet I loved it'
The same could be said for this book, it's hot and I mean filthy hot, there's tons and tons of sex and again not that much story but this book is fantastic, I loved it all, the characters, the club and the story...yes there is one really.
I re-read 'Asunder' before starting this and I was really glad I did, this picks up where that finished with Dante and Luck searching for Karina. While Logan has Karina he tries to explain why he cut her out of his life but will it make a difference, is it too late for him.
I love both Dante and Karina, their relationship and even the pet name...yes I've cringed on occasion in the past when this has been used but here in this book with these two it works for me.
We know something is going on with Karina's dad but we don't know what and where does the club fit into this and what's the outcome going to be. I can honestly say I didn't see the cliffhanger coming this could have been because I was just so wrapped up in the loving couple, I don't know.
I know we're no where near finished with these two, the third book 'Entwined' is due out in November with the forth book out hopefully early 2016 but even so I have to say now I'm hoping Luck gets his own book.

this series just gets better!!! I love how protective Dante is with Karina. she's still young but knows what she wants in life...both Dante and a career in medicine. I love the fast flow of this story and how we don't have to wait for chapter after chapter of non important issues to be resolved!!! love the writing style....the storyline and all the sexy moments with Dante and Karina. I can't wait til book 3.....to find out what is going to happen with Hemi and Karina's father!!!! that was a big shocker at the end and I can't wait to see,ho,it plays out!!! also Karina's friend....Athena....let's not forget her crazy self!!!

The second book just has me having all these different feels. I loved how in the second book it kept to the same thing and instead just got even more intense. I loved seeing how during the book Dante's feelings for Karina kept growing and instead of pushing away he just kept going and being extra mushy/sweet even in his badass ways. That cliffhanger though got me counting down the days and wanting November to come sooner! I can't wait to see whats next, this is now my new favorite series! Keep it going Phoenyx.

Another cliffhanger , damn.

All issues I had with this read are explained by the author at the end, how she calls him Daddy which I didn't like but seems I'm not alone on that and the cliffhanger. Explaining to readers her reasons for this and sharing feedback I appreciate.

I wouldn't class this as BDSM it's a hot read with a hot alpha male like in other MC reads, he's bossy and very demanding in the bedroom and she is always willing to please but this odd couple are also a loved up couple.

Dante is 2nd in command, sergeant in arms at the MC a lot older than Karina. An odd relationship but it works.

This needs to be read from book one and is not a stand alone to appreciate from the beginning.

I liked Dante and Karina and the other characters too.

Curious to see how this plays out. potentially a good series and hopefully I will be able to do a full review when I can see the whole plot.

Resolved one cliffhanger only to end on another. I knew I should have waited until this series was complete before I started, but I got tired of hearing how insanely erotic it was and missing out on the conversation. It is... insanely erotic, I mean. So very hot, Dante is delicious in every way, and Karina is the perfect little sub for him. As their love grows, so do the secrets unveiling around them, and I am salivating for the next book for more than just the sex scenes; though, I'll admit that would have been enough.

HOLY FREAKIN WOW! Could this series get any better? Karina and Dante's relationship just gets hotter and hotter. I can't believe the L word came out. At times I was laughing out loud at Karina and Athena. At times I was crying and my heart ached for Karina. It's obvious she is starving for love. Her father is an idiot! Yea Phoenyx, and I'm not complaining, but the cliffhanger really sucks but HOLY CRAP! What a shock! I extremely recommend this series to everyone. I cannot wait until Entwined comes out. I'm dying to find out what's next. Oh and in case I forgot to mention the sex is abso-freakin-lutely HOT, HOT, HOT! If you looking for a wet your panties set your crotch on fire story with some bad ass gorgeous alpha bikers then YOU MUST READ THIS SERIES. Start first with Asunder.

This book was really good. I loved it these characters are my favorite in this series. It was good to follow up on Dante and Karina. The sex was off the charts and the ending was a huge shocker. I loved this book in so many ways can't wait to see what happens next.

SO wrong and dirty and bad...it has to be good...and it was =)
After reading Asunder and being left with the cliffhanger ending, I was ticked off (I hate to wait) but now it seems as a few issues get handled, there are way more questions and trouble brewing...and yet another WTH ending.
I personally have no issues with D/s relationships in books and daddy/little girl play is cool as well (as long as the girl is of legal age of course), so I would definitely say that this series is hott and if you enjoy fetishes and role play in sex, you will love this series. The only downside to this book and issue for me is with novellas that are part of a series and having to read them in order, one after the other (I prefer complete short stories that deal with individual club members)...but I can tell you that I am really enjoying Dante and Karina's adventures and although they are more erotica and less biker life books, they are very exciting to read.
I really don't want to say too much about what happens plotwise because it will spoil the surprises, but be prepared for more naughty and unexpected playtime and a whole new can of worms to be opened up.

I liked Asunder, the first book in the Iron Bulls series, but I REALLY liked Disconnect. The only reason, I didn't give it five stars is b/c it was too short... it ended at 84% just as I was saying WTF?!?!!? Where to start? Dante... love him and after reading the second book it just sealed it all for me. Yes, he is crass and dirty but he is also protective and loving towards Karina. I seriously devoured these books and although I was left hanging about Hemi, I look forward to seeing what the deal is with Karina's dad. I wish I were a more patient person!

I absolutely freaking loved this book! Phoenix Slaughter takes dirty/kinky/taboo/hot alpha biker/steamy sex and rolls it all into one delicious hot as hell story. This is a continuation of book 1 Asunder and let me tell you it does not disappoint. This book has great characters and an awesome story line and the "sexy" scenes in this story went to a whole new level of kink-o-rama and I LOVED IT! I love Dante's dirty mouth and I love the sweetness that is Karina and I can't wait to see what happens after the bombshell that was revealed at the end of the story. 5 STARS!!!

Wow, I am hooked on this story! Flew through the book and will be starting the third and final part of their story because I have to see where the "twist" at the end will take us.

The only one complaint for me and it's personal, I hate the whole "daddy" thing. No, it's not overdone but I am so not into the "daddy" calling at all. Outside of that personal issue, loving this story!

This is the second book in the Iron Bulls MC series. Karina is 18, a senior in High School & in the love with an older sexy as sin biker named Dante. Dante is the Sergeant at Arms for the Iron Bulls MC & never wanted to settle down with a woman until he met Karina. At the end of the first book Karina was kidnapped by Logan (Hemi) a member of the Iron Bulls who was also her first love & the guy she gave her virginity to. She is scared cause Logan is acting crazy & Dante is pissed & will not rest until his girl is back safe in his bed & Logan is put in the ground.

I love the Daddy/baby girl thing and definitely don't see anything wrong with it since Karina is of the age of consent, I find it endearing and hot without being disgusting!!!
