Perhaps even worse than unrequited love is the loss of love seasoned over time. M. Ocean explores the depths of love deeply felt and violently lost. For those whose wounds are fresh and hearts still raw with ample emotion, Ocean portrays pain and suffering in apt and heart wrenching candour.
"she could make hell feel like home" - these are literally pierce the veil lyrics ??? idk if the author is genuinely unaware or straight up copied them ???
there were some ok poems in here but otherwise it was kinda all over the place
Damn. I felt each word through my whole body all the way down to my toes. It's like it hit my whole being. Love lost was portrayed so honestly in these few pages. Anyone who has ever felt the heaviness of love leaving can relate to this book. One of my favorite parts was this "My body wants your body for selfish reasons, for selfless reasons, and for reasons neither body nor I understand." Everyone go and purchase it, then devour it slowly like it deserves to be read, but not just read ... felt.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Although it's sad it does speak the words of a break up beautifully. Some of things said even helped me put into words about the one I love now. It was worth the free kindle unlimited read. Not sure I'd buy it though as it was too short for my liking
