Callahan Book 7 of the MC series brings us to our gentle giant Tiny. With Nancy determined to get her way Tiny finds himself in the middle of his worst nightmare. Dr. Phil and Oprah have him worried that kids will tear his little family apart and they're right. Nancy has had enough. Tiny is great with kids and she wants more. With the help of the Brothers and Jeremy, Nancy finally gets her wish. Just when they are settling into their new lives a street-smart kid does the unthinkable throwing the house and family into turmoil. An abused mute boy, kids being bullied and Tiny's secret have the MC stretched to the limit. The Brothers step in to the fight to eliminate child sex trafficking while showing Tiny and Nancy how far 'we take care of our own' goes, but will it be enough to save their marriage?
L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world's wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference. The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly. That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, Team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal. L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers. With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet
I have been waiting for this book since Tiny was first introduced and man oh man did it go above and beyond my expectations!!! He's tattooed, pierced, and has a dirty mouth!! ;-0 What more can you ask for in a book boyfriend!! Oh yeah he rides a motorcycle, and is a broody alpha male to the core! Tiny has been one of my favorites through out this whole series. I kno he would probably be throwing Tampons at me right now!! I absolutely loved Tiny and Nancy's story. They are so absolutely perfect together.
another good story. this clean mc takes on child trafficking. solid characters, well drawn and a moving plot. usual sex and violence. bit a true moral value. Re-read yet again in april of 2017. It's that good. Reread yet once more in september, 2018. Still satisfying.. Revisited during pandemic of 2020...comforting.
I personally think this series I is getting better with each book. I loved reading this book it is so nice that things are going the way they are for the club. L Ann Marie this series is brilliant
I first started by reading MC: Knight and then realised that I wanted the whole story and that started with the Baxter's .. although the first books didn't have a lot of crossovers they did set the scene for what is to come in the other books as the stories move along so their importance to the series' as a whole cannot be overstated
I have just read the 22 books to date back to back in the order published on the author's website and decided to review them as a whole. I really don't think they stand well as stand alones as there are too many common threads, too much history and too much character crossover for that so it really is one (very) long story over a very long period of time with each series concentrating on a particular character group but including all of the others (except for the initial Baxter books which didn't have a lot of MC action but did set the scene for a lot of what is to come).
I loved every book although of course some more than others but i am giving an overall five star rating. My biggest issue was that sometimes (often) i found it difficult to be sure exactly who was talking and had to reread sections to try to work it out. I think that perhaps what the author is seeing in her head moves a bit too fast to translate well to the written word for some of us (something like the thoughts of some of her characters - you need to read the stories to understand my thought process here!!)
My other issue was keeping my head straight with the cast of thousands (and this is not an exaggeration) ... with each story building on to what has come before and what will come to be and with most characters continuing to play a place in each consecutive story I found myself constantly stopping to think - now who was that, whose child is that, whose partner is that???? but even amongst that confusion I loved the relationships and the strengths they provided.
The author has an amazing imagination and has brought to the table a fantastic story that i will continue to read and at some point will def read again. I have always loved and had an interest in native american philosophy and also in paranormal and psychic connections and love the way these are ingrained into the books as the stories unfold.
Although there were some things that caused me slight annoyances I cannot deny that as a whole this fits as one of the best series i have enjoyed. my thanks to the author for providing such a thoroughly engaging tale
Re-read the entire MC and Protectors series between June and August. I love her storytelling and characters but sometimes the prose (and particularly the conversations) is a little dense and hard to get through. But I'm back again because the guys, the gals, the kids are all SO GREAT! If you bought this a while ago and are just reading it, download a new copy from Amazon because I think a lot of them have been updated on the editing front. Tiny is still the greatest - he's a guy who doesn't know he's as great as he is - and he's a wonderful foster dad!
Tiny has been a favorite character from the start of the series. And Nancy is just the old lady to help him with the foster kids.that end up in their care. I do enjoy the books in the series!
I have loved the whole series of these books. the only thing that I would have liked more of were some more flashbacks of tiny and nancy in the earlier days, as whilst they are in the earlier books they are side characters you get to see some parts of them but not in any great depth and I would have liked more background for both of them as Nancy is barely in the other books.
I have to say I love Tiny's heart though and he is a very special man even when he is throwing tampons
'MC: Callahan' (Book 7) by L. Ann Marie is a great read. This story is packed full of action, passion, some funny moments, some that will make you teary. I enjoyed this story. Loved getting to know more about Tiny and Nancy, as well as all the others in the Club family. After this book I'll never look at hammocks, duct tape and gazebos the same again! Highly recommend to all fans of MC romance.
5+Stars! Another amazing book! I love Tiny, he's a sexy, giant with a gentle heart! The kids are awesome. The story content was hard to read about, knowing crap like that happens to sweet children, but was written with such grace that I could still smile. These characters that L. has created have become my favourite and I hope to read more from all of them?
I love this series. I imagine it may be difficult to follow all the characters and get the full impact if you don't read the series in order but these are good standalone stories. I laugh at the teasing and joking, crying at some of the sad situations and fan myself at the erotic scenes. It is really such a goose series!
I absolutely love this series! I love that it is nice and long and you are able to see the characters growth! I absolutely love Tiny! He has been since the beginning! When he threw tampons when the guys were being girls just killed me! The love Tiny and Nancy have is amazing. I am so happy with this series and just can't wait for the next one!!!!
Loved Tiny in all the other books, but this book just opened him right up so you got to really see how big his heart really is. I can't wait to read more of this series. Will be lost when it ends. Lol I recommend this book and the Author.
He has tattoos, piercings, and a dirty mouth!! ;-0 What more can you ask for in a book boyfriend!! Oh yeah he rides a motorcycle, and is huge! Tiny has been one of my favorites through out this whole series. I kno he would probably be throwing Tampons at me right now!!
I have been following the mc since Knight and fell in love with Tiny in Knights book, the love him and Nancy have is perfect but even a perfect love can have its bad days
Peter "Tiny" Callahan - the gentle giant who has a habit of throwing tampons at his brothers who are showing too much emotion BUT super sweat to everyone
Nancy Callahan - Tiny's old lady who runs a clothing store in the yard, they have a daughter Sandy
Cloud and CJ Blackhawk - he is a member of the Mohagen tribe who marries CJ who heads several Foster Homes - they start their family by adopting all the children in the Foster Home she lives in.
Danny and Kate - adopted the beginning of their family together and then added to with with their own
Ben "Pres" - head of the MC who joins, with his son Jessie, Danny and Kate's family.

Little Ben - 17 year old son of Steve and Jess
Sam and Lana - Sam is he cook at the diner and Lana is his wife
Lucy - a new waitress at the diner
Racks - MC member who works at the diner
------- This book starts in a way that answers so many questions about Nancy and Tiny's relationship. Each book in this series has a hero who has had a hard time but, for some reason, the beginning tells me that Tiny AND Nancy are both alone in their relationship: no families to help them maneuver the lives they will be leading.
Tiny and Nancy have been married 18 years. They adopt a child which is not enough for Nancy. She finally convinces Tiny that they need to be houseparents in one of CJ's Foster Homes. Tiny isn't so sure, but both of them have such great relationships with all of the MC's Little Brother's and Sister's and Tiny has helped with Danny and Kate's kids from the beginning.
I like to write my reviews as I go but this book goes at a fast pace and I race with it the whole way.
I do believe that the author gets better and better with each new book she writes.
Great story!!! I have loved Tiny since the beginning so it was great to finally get his and Nancy's story. Love the kids, especially Diego. His story broke my heart and this book had me crying at one point. Don't understand what happened with Doc - all of a sudden he's not who he used to be???? The Little Brothers are great and had me laughing a lot especially on the run to Laconia. What happened to the three of them especially LB was disgusting and my heart went out to him. This story centered around a very sensitive and horrifying subject and what the MC does is honorable.
I enjoyed Tiny and Nancy's story. I love how they adopted Deigo and Ricky and are running the foster care house. The childhood that Tiny overcame and the man he is just amazed me. He always fights for the weak and always for children. I really don't see how he could doubt his ability to be a father. This is an excellent story line. Now on to #8.
Loved this MC romance story about Tiny and Nancy (Tiny Dancer). L. Ann Marie is an amazing author and is hitting difficult and disturbing issues in each story with an expertly written hand. Totally recommend it 🔥😍🔥
Tiny deals with his past when helping to stop human traffickers. This is one of the saddest books in the series. Human trafficking takes center stage in book 7 and is done with class and sensitivity. Good job L.Ann marie
All of L. Ann Marie MC books are fantastic but this one was extra. Touch topic with human trafficking but handled in an appropriate manner. Also the dinner scenes with VP were so funny I almost peeped my pants. It fun watching all the kids grow up.
This author covers some hard hitting subject but in such a way that it hits the mark but is readable at the same time. This storyline seemed to hit a little harder but was still respectful of the storyline basis. The characters were as accepted, carasmatic, dynamic, and appealing. They are all growing and developing as the series continues.
In every story up to now we've grown to love Tiny. He's this gentle giant with a steel core. You know he can take care of business but he's also a good husband, friend, uncle to all the kids and of course a Badass Brother! Nancy is a great partner for Tiny and I loved getting to know her better. These women just get better with each book!
This book is very deer to my heart. I wish our world had these kinds of men an women he'll even the kids. I enjoyed the stories but the really life around us is the same also. Thank you for these wonderful stories.
This book continues where the last left off. This is Tiny's story. I loved the flow of the book. These are all so good even with my hectic life I can usually finish them in a few days. I love how the series brings all the characters back throughout the series. The mc cherishes their women and children and try to always do right, even if that brings back painful memories from a traumatic childhood.
