This book was very depressing. It was filled with numbers my brain cannot even comprehend of horrible things happening to women. At the end of most if not all section, the action guide would tell about a day for that particular issue - but individual and churches cannot participate in all of those. Maybe the author expects us to choose one, but the needs are so overwhelming that the book really didn't help me know whats to do to help. The book has value in raising awareness for those who are not aware of these things. It isn't a book you can just read through. You have to read small portions at a time.

This is absolutely not a lovely reading, the book is full with information about violence against females, how they have to suffern under "honor" killings, violation, human trafficking, female genital mutilation, domestic violence, etc. I felt depressed after reading it.

Ez egyáltalán nem egy kedves olvasmány. A könyv tele van információkkal a nők elleni erőszakról, amit el kell szenvedjenek a becsületbeli gyilkosságok, megerőszakolás, emberkereskedelem, nemi szervek megcsonkítása, háztartáson belüli erőszak stb. miatt. Nagyon nyomottnak éreztem magam, miután elolvastam.

I don't disregard how religion for e.g, Islam, Hindu, etc. Have used and abused women, but the author is kinda biased because the amount she delves into another religion except Christianity shows she's not putting the abusive side of Christianity. This type of dishonesty, not putting the whole truth of all the aspects of religion statistics, infuriates me. Then, she kept each scripture at the end of each chapter, which filters the truth that Christians is also corrupted.

This book make me annoyed, that how every woman in every nation suffers violence. The book is so great and I really wanted to share it from my fellow avid readers. Thank you for those people who make this book. This is very helpful~

The data were overwhelming. It was sick and a pity. I almost did not want to finish it as I was getting nauseous thinking the girls are had to endure such situations. I hope more women could read this because it is an eye-opener.

Want to know all the various ways that women are highly oppressed around the world? This is a book filled with strictly information, for the most part about such atrocities going on everywhere such as "honor" killings, human trafficking female genital mutilation, domestic violence, etc. It will teach you quite a lot as well as possibly upset you, as it should.

There were a few action steps at the end of each chapter as well as references, but I don't think there were enough steps, though I appreciate that they did put them in.
