Most horses would be content to be left out in the pasture to graze their days away with no work, no expectations, no responsibilities. Not Sugar. She’s a mare with a mission…she just doesn’t know what it is yet.
That is until she meets a woman who teaches her everything she needs to be the perfect horse for one little girl, completing Sugar’s journey home.
Endearing story of a horse who only wants a job and to be loved. This story is told from the horse's point of view. The story goes on as she learns the different clues she needs from different people. The is a great story for anyone who loves horses.
Read about Sugar, a horse who has had a number of owners and been through different situations, but knows that she's not HOME yet. She is looking for a place where she has a purpose, a chance to be useful and loved. It has been awhile since I was one, but is written for children in about 3rd or 4th grade (a second level of chapter books). I think they would enjoy it. ...did Sugar find her place? Read and see.
Note: I received a copy of this book through a GoodReads giveaway.
What a super story with Sugar sharing her life's story! I would like to recommend this say for second graders and up who loves to read horse stories as well as for giving it five stars for such a riveting story that was very difficult to stay sitting in my Kindle library for very long. I received this ebook for free and in return for it here now is my honest review! Great job Heather! By Angela
