INTERNATIONAL #1 BESTSELLING AUTHOR WHO SEES ANGELS PHYSICALLY
Lorna Byrne is an international number 1 bestselling author (her last two books have gone straight in at #1 on the UK Sunday Times Chart) with more than a million readers around the world. Her books, Angels in my Hair, Stairways to Heaven, A Message of Hope from the Angels and Love from Heaven have been translated into 30 languages.
Lorna has been seeing angels since she was a baby. Very unusually, she sees angels physically with as much clarity as the rest of us see people and she sees them every day. This diminutive, soft-spoken, uneducated Irish woman who did not talk about what she was seeing until seven years ago, says she has no idea why she can see angels when others can’t, adding that she is just an ordinary person.
While it is difficult to believe that someone can see angels physically the clarity and hope inherent in Lorna’s message that everyone regardless of religion has a guardian angel, has made her a world-wide phenomenon. She has been featured extensively in respected European media - including BBC TV and Radio, The Economist, The Observer, The Telegraph, The Times, The Catholic Herald. She is a blogger for the Huffington Post.
, Few who have spoken with Lorna Byrne fail to be impressed by the wisdom and humility of this Irish woman. The overwhelming response of her more than a million readers all around the world is that knowing that Lorna sees a guardian angel with everyone has given them the belief that they have a guardian angel. They say that this assurance gives them tremendous hope and comfort, particularly in these challenging times.
An important part of Lorna’s message is that she sees a guardian angel with everyone regardless of religion (or lack of religion). She talks of the guardian angel as the gatekeeper of the soul. Lorna frequently speaks to and prays with groups from different faiths and says that interfaith prayer is particularly powerful.
I was in desperate need of some grounding and Lorna never ceases to amaze me with her connection to God and brings me a sense of genuine peace and contentment. 📖🕊️🥰🤲🏼🙂↔️
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lorna speaks so eloquently of the love and lightness she feels from God’s grace. She describes it like His grace is ‘being poured into us’. In this book she shares many true stories about how the angels she has seen since birth, help both her and those around her. They have shaped her life and helped her to reach out and help others, as called to by the angels.
She has and continues to give so much of herself as a servant of God. Helping to heal people and allowing them to see and feel God’s compassion and love. She has a very special gift but reminds us that God works true wonders through the most ordinary of people. She is a true inspiration.
Unfortunately, the one downside I found with this book was it was a bit repetitive. If you hadn’t read any of Lorna’s previous books then I believe this would be a fantastic one to start with however, after reading quite a few of her other books I felt some similar content being shared. That being said, it never hurts to have a reminder of these important messages.
I found the latter half of the book much more interesting than the first, including more new material. Lorna talks about trusting in God’s plan for her regarding how she came to publishing her first book (of which I have read). It made for a very real and intimate story.
Like Lorna’s previous books, this read brings a great sense of comfort and peace in the crazy world we live in. And with that she also shares the importance of our service to the changing earth and our responsibility towards future generations.
It has taken great courage for Lorna to expose herself in such a way and I truly appreciate that she has opened up her life to us. Thank you, once again, Lorna for inspiring and connecting with so many people.
If you have read 'Angels in my Hair' and had some kind of a spiritual awakening, then this second installment of Lorna Byrne's angelic experiences is a must. This book is not meant for readers to simply enjoy and forget about after it's put back on the shelf. It is meant to inspire and make readers aware of the tremendous gifts God has given humanity and make good use of them. If up to this point in your life you still doubt the existence of a spiritual world, and that we are directly connected to that world even if we are unaware of it, I highly recommend getting a copy of Lorna's books. The stories and experiences she narrates are written in simple words so that even those with less formal education may understand. There is a wealth of spiritual secrets revealed in this book that's bound to stir in the reader some emotion and a certain restlessness. Lorna shares her visions and knowledge of God and his angels that I haven't learned in Catholic school, nor have heard or read anywhere else. And some of it may arouse skepticism and utter unbelief. But whatever a reader's take on it may be, I know that it shouldn't be our concern whether or not these things are true. What we do get from this is a burning question that should help us in living our life to the full, as what God wants for us: 'Am I making the right choices that lead to life, or is my soul in a frozen state because I have taken a wrong turn somewhere?" This is what we must concern ourselves with, and try to do our part to evolve in the way that God wants us, with the help of His angels.
The book is okay, but I can’t say I got completely into it or felt anything, probably because a lot of things I can’t fully understand/comprehend and some I can’t fully believe. It gives some important messages to humanity, to all of us, regardless of religion, state or anything else. So, it definitely gives me food for thought. Despite all of the above, the book strengthened my view that God loves us all.
Mind blown!! Ok I read three of her other books written prior to this, and other than a few unexpected views on some things like homosexuality, suicide, and even other religions, the insights were very mild when it came to what someone might think with regards to spirituality. Angels, God, Jesus, souls, love, love, love... White ponies and cupcake sprinkles. All very well and nice. But with this book - bam!!! The honeymoon is over! Lorna ain’t messin’ around anymore. Things got real fast! There’s some heavy stuff in here! Things that go against all I’ve been taught in my Christian upbringing. Things that will make you stop and think. Glimpses into the potential future that will scare the daylights out of you! I don’t want to give anything away, but I highly recommend this read. Is it all true?? I have no idea but it would be very difficult to make up, the overall message is urgent and positive, and it’s a great read!
I've been a real fan of Lorna Byrne since I read her first book Angels in my Hair. In Stairways to Heaven she recounts many of her remarkable experiences with angels after the death of her husband Joe and while she was having her first book published. Lorna writes in a readable, easy to understand language, but her experiences and insights are extraordinary. With the help of her angel guides, particularly Archangel Michael she delves into some fascinating areas in this book such as the first Christmas, ghosts, a pilgrimage to Mecca, and reincarnation. Really looking forward to her final book.
"One of the things I am often asked about is the future of mankind. I have to explain that I'm not just shown one future by the angels. I'm shown lots of futures and what happens will depend on the decisions mankind makes... In the future the population of the world will continue to grow a bit more and then will start to reduce. We will make some mistakes and take some wrong turns before we get back on the right path. It's not all bad. I have been shown children of the future being what the children of the past and the present have not been allowed to be-real children, full of wonder. We may not realise it now, but we treat children abominably. Children of the future will look back to children of the present in their history classes and will cry... The children of the future won't need gadgets or technology. They will get more fun and joy out of the world around them. They will look at a blade of grass or an insect, and see so much more than the children of today do... They will be fascinated by life itself, by nature and all that is around them. And they will love to learn." Chapter Thirty-six - pgs. 285 & 286
This is the second half of Lorna's lived experiences with the Angels and although I found this to be a bit tediously repetitive in certain places, I appreciate the overall message of Wisdom, Healing, and Affirmation it offers. Her work has certainly intensified and accelerated the relationship with my Angels and ArchAngels, as well as Guides, Ascended Masters and Teachers, so I'm Grateful for that deeper discernment, guidance and luminosity her message brings to a fractious and shadow driven world.
Lorna Byrne writes an open account of how she experiences Angels in quite a childlike way. In fact I wonder if that is indeed the reason she has this ability. She has an open mind and a curiosity similar to that of a young child and her adulthood has not robbed her of this gift. I have no reason to disbelieve what she writes, although I stay on the periphery hoping what she says is true. I like to believe I have my Guardian Angel with me at all times and that she/he will stay with me for always. It has taken me ten days to read this book and there were times when I was tempted to give up, but something kept me going!
This book by Lorna Byrne is a captivating exploration of spirituality and the connection between the earthly realm and the non-physical realms. Through her remarkable experiences and heartfelt insights, Lorna invites readers on a journey that transcends the physical world, offering a glimpse into the ethereal and uplifting dimensions of existence.
Lorna is a simple and uncomplicated person, and her writing is characterized by its sincerity. She recounts her encounters with angels and otherworldly beings with a genuine and unassuming voice, creating a sense of intimacy between the reader and the author.
One of the book's greatest strengths lies in Lorna’s ability to convey profound spiritual messages in a relatable and accessible manner. Her encounters with angels serve as a gateway for messages of love, hope, and guidance, offering solace and reassurance to those seeking spiritual nourishment.
Stairways to Heaven delves into the idea of interconnectedness and the notion that we are all part of a greater cosmic whole. Byrne's insights into the purpose of life and the significance of every individual's existence are both enlightening and uplifting.
I highly recommend this book for those seeking a better understanding of our relationships with the spiritual.
This woman sees fairies, sorry, Angels, every day. Now, you have to really believe in Angels to read this book. I mean,...seriously. I do think that some people get a feeling or an idea sometimes that might for example save someone's life in that split second of a moment but that you walk around with your own special Angels every day since you were a tiny child...Nope. No, don't believe in it. Also, her over the top positive outlook on life and all things related is just beyond me. Yes, I know people like her exist, some people are just happy to be alive, but I just can't buy into it.
Beautiful and very inspiring, reading Lorna's books and stories definitely lifts your spirits and consciousness! Stairway to Heaven read slower for me than Angels in My Hair but at least that gave me more time to absorb everything. Marie and Edward's story stands out, it was the part of book that I couldn't put down and had to keep on reading. The love and compassion of these two people, even for the ones that hurt them in such an awful way is truly powerful and moving. It was also very interesting to read about how Lorna dealt with the loss of her beloved Joe (by building and then moving into the new house) and how she published Angels in My Hair.
Loved this book - I think id added a lot of interesting information from the point of view of its Author.
I am not making an assessment of whether everything in the book is real, but I found it very coherent with the Author's previous book and maybe deeper in some of the issues it treats, such as the possibilities for the future of humanity...
I Loved it! :) It opend my eyes for this whole new world and a life with the angels. A world I never knew existed. And I thank the angels for putting it in to my mailbox :)
I enjoyed reading this second book about Lorna Byrne's interactions with the angels. It is truly fascinating. It gives such a wonderful outlook on life and how we should appreciate and cherish it.
This book brought me hope, inspiration and healing. Lorna shared her fascinating personal experiences and the secrets of guardian angels. Thank you, Lorna! I fully recommend this book for everyone.
Possibly not as impactful as the amazing Angles in my Hair which isn't to say this book didn't affect me in a profound way. I do feel as though the publisher pushed Lorna to put out a second book but I'm not sure the timescale between this and Angles in my Hair.
I do have to confess that I struggle with god with a capital G. I know this is just Lorna's frame of reference for some all encompassing spiritual power - which I believe in too. It's just for me it's so incredible that the it a He demeans god for me. Saying that I am absolutely in love with the notion there is an angel behind me right now, typing where my hands are typing right now. I have felt very, very strongly an angelic force at various moments throughout my life hence why I was drawn to Lorna's first book!
Weirdly this one was on my Goodreads to-read list for a long time, and I've been trying to mop up/catch-up with these books that leapt out to me some time ago. However, since Stairways to Heaven was added to my to-read list I've had a painful bereavement and the words that Lorna has written bring a lot of relief from grief.
Not sure about the devils helpers though; terrifying and I'm glad they're only mentioned briefly at the end of this second work by Lorna Byrne!
Lorna Byrne has to be the purest, most lovely person on the planet. She is Irish, and severely dyslexic, unable to read and write as a child. She tells us of all her various encounters with angels, whom she has seen all her life. She shares what lessons they've given to her, and encourages everyone to love one another, believe in your guardian angel, and enjoy your life. This is a book to read when you are ready to be soothed and open your heart.
Lorna is a sure bet in delivering honest and inspiring insight from her personal experiences and conversations with the angels, giving all of us an example of just how simple and available it is. Her stories give us comfort in knowing how surrounded we all are, and that help is one ask away. Love and believing in these mostly invisible helpers is the only pre-requisite. But even then, they are unconditionally working on our behalf, and in our favor, at all times.
Norėjau perskaityti šią knygą, nes pirmoji autorės knyga - "Angelai man glosto plaukus" - turėjo kažkokį raminantį, tarsi gydantį poveikį, tad tikėjausi kažko panašaus.
I could not say that it is the best book I have read since it is not something that I turn to see, perhaps for people who are more interested in things of religion, angels and more obvious things this book is to your liking. For me it was not but it does not mean that for someone else it cannot be.
(Audiobook) A sequel to 'Angels in my Hair'. If you haven't read the 1st book, I would recommended doing that first before reading this book. I found the 1st book more enlightening. A good read for those who believe in a world beyond our physical bodies.
Adorei ler este livro. Fácil leitura, leve e com uma história muito bonita. Lorna fala-nos da sua relação com Deus e com os anjos e como essa força a apoia no seu dia a dia e a ajuda a ultrapassar a ausência do seu marido.
