Leila has delivered another great story. This story is a quick and smooth read with a cast of well developed main characters and scene stealing supporting characters. I read it through in one sitting with a couple of roll backs to get to reexperience the hilarious scene between Veronica and her parents. I wanted to smack Roni upside the head a few times because of how she kept treating Elliot, but I was satisfied that she managed to come to her senses by the end.

No matter how much confidence you think someone might have there is always something from our past that makes them doubt themselves and others. Veronica and Elliott both seem to be confident strong people but history and experiences has them doubting each other and pushing each other away.
It's a story of finding self acceptance and the strength to fight for what you want and deserve.
