But he's quickly reminded that the past can never be completely forgotten when Grace Beckett rides into his life. Grace has had a hard life herself. She's spent months searching for the one man who can help her exact revenge on the family that destroyed her life. That man is Ben Graham, and she refuses to take no for an answer. Together Ben and Grace start on a journey to find Grace's son and destroy the family that took him. Along the way, Ben and Grace learn to trust each other, as well as themselves, and to finally let their hearts heal so they can look to a future together.
A beautiful story of the power of love, family, and forgiveness. Number 8 in Emma Lang's Circle Eight series, Benjamin can be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading the series from the start. You don't want to miss a second with this incredible family. A Book Obsessed Chicks Team Selection
While I love this entire series, Benjamín 's story is so poignant. Kid napped as a small child when he's rescued the darkness of his experiences follows follows Ben into adulthood . How does a brutalized soul find its way back to normality? The author does a great job of rounding out the series and showing Ben Graham finally conquering the darkness inside him when he returns to the place where he was imprisoned to help free another victim of a depraved villain.
I cried! It was such a wonderful series! I was waiting for Ben story for so long! Let's see the new generation of Grahams and hope that it is as great as this series!
After living five years in captivity as a boy, the grown man is asked by Grace to help find her son whi is now captive. Ben has to face the past to help the little boy
I loved this series, I’m sad it’s over. 8 separate love stories of strong heroines and men, plus you always got a glimpse into their siblings life. So good!
I could not put this book down. Cowboys and tough guys are not supposed to make you cry but this one did. We first learned about Benjy in the first book of eight. The story of what happened to him was told in the 3rd when Caleb rescued his little brother. Our suspicions were confirmed in the 7th. In this book we see Benjy’s side of the story, all the shame, self doubts and misery. We also see how strong and good he is when Grace needs his help to rescue her son from the family that tormented him as a boy. She may have had to force him in the beginning but Benjy came through for her and her son. Most of you will cry. Others will come close to crying. The rest should check to see if you still have a heart. To say I like this book is an understatement. I highly recommend you read it. I recommend you read the entire series.
After such a terrifying experience in his early childhood, it was nearly impossible for Benjamin to relate to anyone outside of his immediate family. Until Grace tracks him to his lonely hideaway and begs him to help recover hers son from the same horrible group that had taken him, Benjamin was completely isolated and shut down. Helping Grace and Henry bring the abusers to justice redeemed Benjamin in his own eyes and allowed him to open his heart to the possibility of love. Grace was so fiery and passionate that there was no way Benjamin could ignore her as he had the rest of the world. This was a really great story and I recommend the ENTIRE Circle Eight series to anyone who loves Romance!
I was disappointed in the final novel of the Circle Eight series. I was looking forward to Benjamin's book and finding out how and who would be his mate. I could not connect with Grace at all. She seemed a very shallowly written character to me. A cardboard cutout.
The love that blossemed between the two came too quickly and I couldn't really understand it. I can't find the words to describe why this entire book seemed unrealistic, shallow, unsatisfactory to me.
The ending was good though. How Benjamin finally let go of his demons. How he finally accepted the love of his siblings and that the Circle Eight was indeed his home. I had a few tears in my eyes.
I have really enjoyed the circle eight series but this book fell short for me it was just missing something. I felt the hype leading up to Ben's story hoping to finally find some answers only to wind up asking more questions. I don't think we needed a tell all about what he went though but it we needed something more than demons and vague hints. I enjoyed the book just left me wondering still. Just my opinion though lol
Ben was lost again in his dark world until his hat was shot off his head. Grace found him and she needed to find her son. He had been taken just like Ben was when he was a little boy. So the adventure begins for Ben and Grace. A great story to end The Circle of Eight. One of the best. Enjoy!
I have followed the story of the Circle Eight since it's beginning and enjoyed each and every book. The stories have been original and adventurous, telling of those early times when life was simpler but also complicated. I recommend you read all the books and enjoy a good tale.
I read all eight of the Circle Eight series. I enjoyed them, but found this one fell flat. Ben's problems were too vague. Bernadette was mentioned as an abuser but in vague terms. I feltblike it was a sketch that didn't get finished. I really enjoyed the Grahams and their stories.
Emma Lang continues to bring the Wild West to life. While each book of the Circle Eight series is great Benjamin's story was extra special. After all that he has been thru to see him come back into the family in such a heartwarming way brought a tear to my eye.
This series of stories has formed a complete and happy family home. They live , love, work, and enjoy each other and have enough love and spirit to take on a special boy to give love and guidance to.
Benjamin Graham & Grace Beckett the final story concludes with Ben's and it was just as exciting as the last one. Ben has decided to live alone, a man running from the law. Grace is out to find him so that he can take her back to the compound he was held at all those years ago. Her son Henry was captured by the Cunninghams' and has gone to great lengths to find him again. Exciting, action-packed, and well written story. EL outdid herself with this series and they were all good stories.
