Rock Clark and his wife Liz take a much-needed coastal vacation away from his hectic workload as the pastor of a quirky and quaint congregation at Park Place Presbyterian Church. Finally, some alone time with his new bride without everyone knowing their business! It begins as an idyllic honeymoon, but after a few days, there is trouble in paradise. There are rumors of dark and sinister things happening on their end of the island, and Liz gets caught in the middle. Will faith, grace, and a change of heart be enough to save her life?
Liz and Rev Rock are spending two weeks at the beach with all the Clark family. But a sinister presence is disturbing the West end of the island. Good build of suspense and drama.
This is the third book I have read in the series. Park Place is a great place to visit. I am sure you will enjoy the book as well. I am eager to begin the next one in the series.
Continuing the Southern Grace Series, High Tide at Pelican Point is an edge of your seat read. Although, the family have gathered for a vacation at the beach, danger is around. Glenda Manus describes the scenery in a way, I feel as if I am there. Great book. On to #4
I liked the change of location in this story. There was a lot twists and mystery. Parts were disturbing especially if you are reading in bed at night which I wouldn’t recommend. Otherwise I enjoyed it.
Really great story. I enjoy reading about Rev Rock and his new bride and all of the wonderful experiences they have. In this story, Liz is pregnant with their child and it is a boy. They have a planned vacation to the beach with Rock’s entire family. Mysterious things happen at the beach. You will enjoy this story.
This is my favorite of the Southern Grace Books! I enjoyed getting to know the main characters more thoroughly and the change of pace offered by the intrigue in this mystery earned my 4 star rating.
This series has been such a refreshing read! It’s even inspired me to dive deeper into Bible study and explore some of the scriptures mentioned throughout the books. I highly recommend this series to anyone!
Almost could rate as self-help books with scripture references. All about family, community, second chances and love. I really like a series that gets my mind thinking and ends on a happy note. Glad I read this series of books!
I really love the Southern Grace books. More please. The are such a refreshing read. I wish there. We're more books like this. I really hated them to end.
I will recommend them to my friends. I now need to look for more similar books. Wish me good luck
Ms Manus has written another interesting, meaningful story. A vacation at the beach with Reverend Rock's family is tainted by evil. But God's love triumphs and happiness prevails.
