Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

CAN'T READ THIS ONE DUE TO RAPE OF THE HEROINE.

It's not by the hero but I can't handle that.

Zeke was a monster but his story was told with compassion yet at the same time - no remorse! As a young boy he was raised to became a dark and cold man due to his abusive and drug addicted parents. It was so hard to read how his parents treated him but Zeke's gritty story was so worth the wait!

ALTHOUGH his heart was a few sizes too small, his sadistic love for Alessandria change him on so many levels. Yes, Zeke and Alessandria were made for each other!

What an Intense story.
Zeke is a dark man. Sociopath, father, pimp. With a dark, abusive past.
Alessandria is a masochist who gets sold into prostitution by her ex who turns out to be a pimp and misuses her love for pain. She gets raped and tortured and thats how she ends up with Zeke.
When Zeke gets a new "prostitute", he senses something different. He goes with his gut instict and finds his woman.
This was an intense and dark love story. I believe the heroine suffered from PTSD. However, Zeke took her under his wings and that helped heal her.
Both characters are broken, scenes are intense. I like how they heal each other. Sex scenes were few but well written.
Safe ??

This was a really good book one that I completed in one sitting. Zeke is not a nice man after being physically abused as a kid by his father and neglected by his mother both of them being drug addicts he grew up tough after reading about Zeke in the Soldier's Series I knew that I had to read this book. Zeke has only loved one person his daughter Dani he would do anything to protect her and although she is married to Shakes he still has men watching her and he has to come to terms with the fact that she is going to have his first grandchild and he is even starting to like Shakes. When Zeke gets a new shipment of girls he notice one has been roughed up and her hands are tied behind her back and what does he do he shoots the men that brought her to him he knows something is not right she didn't want to be there. Alessandria doesn't know who Zeke is when she looks into his eyes she knows that he is not a good man especially when he kills the men that brought her their. Alessandria is only doing what her lowlife pimp wants her to do to get info on Zeke and send him all the money that she makes. Zeke feels the need to protect her to make her his and to kill the man that did this to her she thought she was in love with Gerald until her pimped her out and beat her for escaping. This was a good book although I did think that it was going to be darker than it was. Zeke is not a man to be messed with and her runs hi empire with an iron fist as the people who thought they could steel from him learned. I liked that he didn't force Alessandria to have sex with him or even stay after her got rid of Gerald. I also liked that he fell in love with her before they had sex. Alessandria also had a secret she liked pain with her pleasure and Zeke liked to give it. This book was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar like the rest of the books that these author have written. I can't wit to read the next book in this series or the Soldier's series.

I love Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent book Zeke's Rule this book deserves all 5 stars. Zeke is a very cruel, controlling, evil, dominating man who is not afraid to kill someone. But he is also a man that when he loves he loves hard and with his whole heart. The only woman Zeke ever loved is his daughter but when he sees Alessandria for the first time he knows that she is special. Alessandria becomes the light in Zeke life she is able to give him everything he needs in the bedroom and out of the bedroom. But his not trusting how Alessandria feels about him because she has been through so much and has never really been free in her life. But she knows what she wants and Zeke is everything she has ever wanted in a man he fills her in ways she never thought would be filled. He gives her the happiness she never thought she deserved. When Zeke tries to let her go Alessandria fights him. They go through their ups and downs both have been through so much in their lives but in the end they find happiness. If you have not read this book please read you will not be disappointed.

Dark and dirty! Just like I like'em!

Zeke is a man of few words, lots of baggage, anger issues, and bad things he's involved in 24/7. However, one thing redeems him.....his need to protect those unable to protect themselves.

Enters Alessandria. Alessandria was betrayed in the worst of ways and Zeke is determined to fix this broken woman. This is their story!

Five stars for this dark and dirty HEA!

What a damn mess. I can't believe I paid for this. I was excited for Zeke's story because I love a bad guy that falls in love. This was SO disappointing - and there wasn't any sex worth reading!

Zeke (mafia-ish murderer, owns BDSM sex club, father of Daniella) is accepting a shipment of women that want to be sex workers in his club. Amongst that shipment he finds a woman, Alessandria (abused sex slave) that obvi doesn't want to be there. He takes her into his care and promises revenge against the man that hurt her.

SC's books are always full of errors and misspellings. I highlighted a few, but I'm telling you it was AWFUL. Way worse than they usually are. Every single person in the book had their name misspelled at least once.

The worst thing (besides no sex) is there was nothing happening. The entire book repeated that, (1) she had been raped and beaten, (2) he was a murderer and had killed people. That's it. Every chapter was the same. They didn't even have sex until the VERY end of the book. WTF - why do you think I'm reading this?!?! The sex wasn't even good.

There is a chapter on Striker, which doesn't necessarily have details, just talks about him not being able to find satisfaction in his sex life.

This may not be everyone's cup of tea. I really enjoyed this we now see Zeke has more sides than we have seen the the Soldiers of Wrath books. I know his job may be frowned upon but it is who he is. I was always interested in The bad guy who made the SoW miserable. I am happy he got his book.

The woman he falls for is hurt but not broken. I like how he builds her up to make her stronger. He doesn't want her weak and helpless. Like I said this book may not be for all but I loved it and I hope his right hand man Bosco gets his story.

****this book has a teaser for Strikers book and I cannot wait for that to come out!*****

A story about a viciously abused boy who grows into what we are told is a monster of a man at the center of many illegal activities. However, this monster saves a girl from a life of slavery (all the prostitutes he employs are there willingly and very well treated), falls in love with her, dotes on his own daughter from a previous relationship (who is older than his new girlfriend) and her newborn baby, his grandson.

I think this book was more about a monster with a heart of gold and the story maybe a little too tepid for me.

I loved this book! I loved how broken Alessandria and Zeke were and I love how well they fit and fix each other! To the outside world they are screwed up but to each other they are perfect! The kink? OMG the kink! That was the best part! I couldn't believe how much I loved it! But D.A.M.N!!!

Very disappointed in this

===========================
Last year I read so many books I become numb, they literally just blended into one another, I believe some of them get together decide on a theme and run with it, one script just change the names and locations. Which is a shame because what starts out as a new theme ends up been the worst. Bully romances when first emerged were new and original now they are so beyond believe its nauseating. RH another subject done to death.
So at the beginning of the year I started in a terrible book funk couldn't find one book to click my interest so, I made 4 lists for my books, Present, To Be Read, and Revisit, and Outside the box.
============================
This is TBR one, I have followed Jenika Snow and Sam Crescent for years either individually or singularly. However of late my tastes are changing, Authors such as these are losing their shine due to the horrific story telling lack of story and mistakes been made. I have followed Sam particularly from the very beginning and did have her and Jenika on one click sadly that has now changed, the inconsistency to their works is bad.
This could have been on epic story with a bit more thought and a lot more content.
For such seasoned writers the mistakes in this book are ridiculous, 38 different errors over the course of the story, might not seem a lot but actually it is, I am not a grammar queen but when mistakes are made over and over again, it ticks me off when I spend more time noting the mistakes than I do reading the actual story, then I have a problem. Not what I expect from two usually very good writers.
What I did read was lacking immensely, Zeke was so much more and could have been more with a lot more build up to what he actually become, his horrific childhood was glossed over, then we skip a few years and he's in his twenties then skip some more till he becomes a father, skip again until we get to the meat of the story ( apparently), Alessandria enters stage left battered bruised and broken, what follows is a man hunting down the pain giver to his new love interest. It was an okay read, nothing special but it could have been so much more, the two chapters which included Stryker I honestly have no idea why they are in there and what the purpose of them were except to remind you of the Soldiers of Wrath.
3 stars are given because ultimately they are both fabulous writers with wicked imaginations, just sometimes that imagination is lacking and can be quite lazy. will it stop me buying them again HECK NO, I have everything they wrote but they need to change their ways or that will change. This is my honest review of this book.

Firstly. Shame on both authors.

How in the fuck do you find it in yourself to be okay with charging your followers & new readers $5.00 to read this book that’s littered with writing errors/half spellings?

I get it, here and there it might still happen but this is FAR FROM THAT.

I mean fucking hell, Microsoft word could have corrected half the damn errors in this fucking thing.

I enjoy both authors, Sam C especially but how either of you thought this was acceptable to publish and sell is beyond me. Come the fuck on. Have some pride in your work.

Again. Fucking hell. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

**
The moment I read about Zeke in Demon’s book, I knew I wanted to dive into his story and find himself a love mate that would have him by the balls.

It was a relatively calm read besides the small climax, but other than that I was a little bored. Time jumping (1 week later. 3 weeks later. 1 month later, etc) and the bare minimum was applied to this book. Time jumping is needed in some circumstances when novels are long but given the small number of pages & the laziness of how this book was put together, I’m honestly just putting it to both writers half assing’ it and wanting to give a quick and fast deliverance to make a buck.

I said what I said. Ask me if I care.

I really think this read could have been something intense given the heroine’s background and how ruthless Zeke could be. Bigger climax. More depth between the MC’s. Better dynamic between all characters. Let’s not forget, the horrific editing.

Fuck this shit. Don’t buy it, it’s not worth it.

Horrible!

I have never read a book this poorly written and edited. There were mistakes on almost every page. Even a simple spell check would have helped tremendously.

I am doing an alphabet reading challenge and did a search for books beginning with Z. This book came up and was described as gritty with some sex and violence. Zeke was described as a strong, unlikely hero. That whole description was just ridiculous.

No one mentioned the misspelled words, the grammatical errors, or the terrible writing. I finished this book to get the Z letter of the alphabet for my challenge. I would never recommend this book to anyone. Even worse, I actually paid $2.99 for it.

Loved it

I really like Zekes story there are two sides to him good and bad. When I first read about him in Owned by the Bastard you don’t like him. I recommend reading this story to get a glimpse of him.

This is the first book in the Beautiful Torment series. This book is the product of two very talented writers coming together & the result is wonderful. If you've also read The Soldiers of Wrath MC series by them you are very familiar with Zeke if you haven't then you definitely should. After reading the SOW series I never thought I would love Zeke but I have to say after reading about his past & getting inside his head, I love him now. Zeke is a kingpin who dabbles in a little bit of everything but the women he has in his clubs are there because they want to, he doesn't force them into prostitution. Zeke takes women who love sex, want to make money & need a safe place to do so, he treats them well. He is furious when he gets a new van full of women & one of them is tied up, beaten & scared to death. One look in Alessandria's eyes & Zeke knows she does not belong there so after the doctor sees her & tells him she's been raped he takes her home to his house. Alessandria doesn't understand why this strange man has taken her into his home & she definitely doesn't know why for the first time she actually feels safe with him. Of course Zeke is attracted to her she is a beautiful woman but he would never do anything to hurt her & he's confused because the only other person he has feelings for is his daughter, Daniela. I loved how patient & kind Zeke was with her but I also love how he made sure the man who hurt her was tortured & killed because he deserved it.

Evil deeds and love

Zeke is a be man, and evil man who does even things to people. But he also has a limit to his vileness. Beating or taking from an unwilling woman is top on his list. So when he gets a new shipment of pros to work in his club and finds a beaten and broken Allesandria, he goes a bit off. From the moment he laid eyes on her he was drawn to her in a way he has never been drawn to a woman. Sure he is protective of his daughter Dani but with Allesandria it is so much more. He wants to keep her to own her mind, body, heart, and soul.

Allesandria is broken and afraid of the world she has been thrown into. So when Zeke takes her away from the club she is supposed to work at and then proceeds to put her up in his home she doesn't know what to make of it. Not only is he scary but he does something to her and she doesn't know what to make of it.

I enjoyed this book and the crossover story lines from the Soldiers of Wrath series. It gave me a whole new insight into the character of Zeke and his relationship with his daughter and the MC. I can't wait for the next book.

I was scared to read this, I'm not a fan of hardcore BSDM but Jenika and Sam didn't disappoint me. We got to see early childhood traumas that shaped Zeke into the man he is, he will do whatever to hold his power he is cold, cruel, bad some even say a monster, he is emotionless, the only person he cares for is his daughter Dani that is until he saves Alessandria. Alessandria put her trust in the wrong man and forced to be a whore until she is sent to spy on Zeke. Zeke knows right off she is there against her will and he sets out to destroy the man who dares to hurt what is his. Zeke shows a kind side to Alessandria, he is patient giving her time to heal and make a choice if she wants to be or stay with him. They fall in love and Alessandria wants to stay and Zeke gives her the pleasure she wants and deserves.

When I first read about Zeke in Shakes and Daniella's story I thought he was one sadistic a-hole. In this story you get his background from his childhood and for me I know understand why he is the way he is. In fact he could have even gone darker but it just shows that deep down he does have some good in him. Then he meets Alessandria and you see a whole other side to him one that really surprised me. Alessandria has also had a hard few years trusting the wrong person which leads her into her current situation and meeting Zeke. They are good for each other and even though he will always have that side Zeke does show that he can be more Alessandria too finally gets to let down her guard and gets to be the woman she wants to be without fear. This was a great story and I'm so glad Zeke redeemed himself .

Yeah for Zeke..

I have been waiting for months for this book. How do you make someone as sadistic, evil, and depraved like Zeke, likable enough to find a woman willing to stay. What woman would ever lower herself enough to stand being with him? Well, somehow Sam and Jenika weaved a tale that not only gave you a better understanding of Zeke and how he came to be the man to fear, but had you praying that he and Alessandria got together and stayed together. Oh sure, Zeke is still crazy scary, but somehow, he and Alessandria seem to work. Like that old saying "Every pot has a lid" and I'm glad Zeke found his.

Great story, scary, sad, and thrilling all at the same time. Can't wait for the next installment.

With Zeke's sick and twisted childhood, no wonder he was a cruel, take no prisoners, cut throat, business man, boss, leader. He did love his daughter, but when he laid eyes on Alessandria, his heart started to melt, the need to protect her, love her, free her, overwhelmed him, scared the hell out of him. Alessandria, went though a life no one deserves as well. These two needed each other to heal, learn to forgive, learn to love unconditional, and together, loving each other, smoking hot chemistry, they made a home, promised to love, honor, protect even die for one another. If that isn't love I don't know what is
This was amazing and I can not wait for more
LOVED THIS!!!!!!
