This book reads like a parody of true crime. From how it casually describes all serial killers as “geniuses” to the writing style of a 7th grader with a concussion, this book is the perfect encapsulation of everything wrong with true crime. I feel like even Tyler Crane would recognize how bad this book is, so I’m stunned that it came for free with my kindle. It’s like if every copy of microsoft had an MS paint drawing of someone’s Sonic fan character as the default background.
I should say, I loved reading this because I had a morbid fascination with how terrible the writing style is. Tyler, I hope you got a nice paycheck.
So I have to give the book points for being informational, as it did actually tell me a lot about the serial killers listed in the book. However, the book was written and structured like a middle-school English paper. I applaud the amount of information given in only 100ish pages spanning ten different killers, but Crane really needs to work on his writing.
As the author states, he is not responsible for the feelings u have after reading this detailed book about these horrible people. This is a really detailed book, open at your own risk. Very grotesque......
