Is mankind on the threshold of a new age of enlightenment? Or are we descending a dwindling spiral, doomed to repeat the lessons from history which we either forget or never seem to learn? In pre-WWII Germany, the Vril Society used the swastika emblem to link Eastern and Western occultism. They advanced the idea of a subterranean matriarchal utopia ruled by a race of Aryan beings who had mastered a mysterious force called Vril. This breakaway civilization had survived the antediluvian cataclysms which ended the ice age, and passed on their guarded occult knowledge through initiation into sacred mystery schools. Vril was known to these mystics as a natural and abundant energy, having disseminated it's divine wisdom world wide under many names. The Chinese referred to it as “chi”, the Hindu as “prana”, and the Japanese as “reiki”. Albert Pike said: “There is in nature one most potent force, by means whereof a single man, who could possess himself of it, and should know how to direct it, could revolutionize and change the face of the world.” Helena Blavatski, the foundress of the Theosophical Society, described this Vril energy as an aether stream that could be transformed into a physical force. What are the Occult Secrets of Vril?
Robert Sepehr is an author, producer and anthropologist specializing in linguistics, archeology, and paleobiology. A harsh critic of the out-of-Africa theory, Sepehr puts forth alternative diffusionist arguments involving advanced antediluvian civilizations, occult secret societies, ancient mythology, alchemy and astrotheology.
Basically a rambling similar to his YouTube videos. Although nothing specific about vril itself (which I was expecting and hoping), overall it was very interesting and thought provoking - this is why I gave it a 4/5 instead of a more deserving 3/5 due to the clickbait title. Would recommend for the interested. Not as formal and evidenced as I would have liked
Yes, this book is short. It is an esoteric work and you will understand if you are already familiar with ACTUAL ancient history, the occult, and Robert Sepehr's portfolio. Don't expect to be taught how to harness potentiality, this mostly goes into history and suggests what to expect come the Age of Aquarius.
About 100 pages. Quick to read. Topics are: Vril, secret societies, vimanas, Nazi Germany and connection to the South Pole, vimanas, orgone, gnostics, Islam and Christianity.
Much information, short book. Could the author have written more into it? More meat to the bones?
A short but good book. Not much about the Vril as the author veers off into other territory. In the authors defense he introduces the topic and seems to stick to information he has sources for and he cites his sources. Many books on topics such as this tend to introduce ideas with no real backing.
Definitely has some interesting details I had to cross reference.
It's a fascinating piece of persuasion as it's easy to read, has supporting pictures, uses a simple citing system, provided several factoids that are tantalizing... but mix in that ambrosia of ingredients are the poisons of Russian gossip campaigns and Nazi skin narcissism...
The layout is quite crafty in presenting stronger patterns in the front and back but leaving the mimetic viral load mostly in the center. Global equivalent terms for the same thing across history and culture are mentioned with the vital force/chi/prana/orgone to establish credibility and impartiality to drop one's guard followed by intriguing factoids and possible narratives to structure them.
The end also makes 'isn't is interesting' connections like America being supposedly named after 'Amerigo Vespucci' but he was actually born Alberigo and changed his name later. In weaving factoids, Amaru is listed as Peruvian equivalent of Quetzalcoatl for a more generalized true of the feathered snake god 'cover up' (the 'secret knowledge' tactic is outlined in Robert Cialdini's "Influence" in term of suppressing something only makes it more appetizing) being an inspiration for the Continents and the shame founders name. There is also mention that Columbus was Jewish (which checks out in DNA testing if you check) and uses some examples of a signature in a triangle formation to prove he was a 'crypto jew' (term used). The is also mention of a Jewish financier rather than Ferdinand and Isabella and the back story that there inquisition was forcing Jews to convert or leave in the same year (not stated but when the last Muslims were pushed out in the reconquista). This is all a great example of framing and priming in how the facts are put together to make the reader click them into place one their own but in the light that the presenter has stage managed. One has to refute unstated assumptions which is like fighting shades, something like generations of Jewish religion, ethnicity (no intermarriage without conversion) and culture would be lumped together and switching faiths at a past generation wouldn't have erased cultural or family practices such as a signature. Much like the Rothschild digs later on, lending was one of the few things Jews could do as they weren't allowed farm lands or competing jobs and most kings had a court Jew as a work around for loans with interest (as few were willing to lend otherwise) though the loan is stated as interest free.
Much of the book uses these tactics interesting factoids not often discussed and curated with speculation for the aforementioned self generated light bulb effect that's a powerful force in conspiracy theory construction form disparate pieces. One that's not so difficult to dismantle is also the most vial insinuation in contesting the 'out of Africa theory' (mentioned with implicit disgust as a Rothschild conspiracy pushed through the UN as a front). A list of 'high civilizations' are listed off being descended from high Aryans who are claimed to be Atlantieans and other factions resulting in a nuclear war and eventual 'degradation of the blood line.' As 'proof' of this the Rh- is used as 'pure blooded' with Rh+ literally stating that rhesus monkey Rh+ has contaminated the genes of the alien ubermensch (with unstated insinuations in 'hybrids'). Garbage, this is like the flat earth scam, it's powerful because one needs a lot of experience to debunk it without the massive mental investment and travel (space or measuring shadows at longitudes along a latitude). There are other methods but the one I hope breaks the curse is the 'southern cross,' if one assumes a disc. Drako could be directly above the center of the disc but how could the southern cross be at every point of the disc's circumference. Personally I love the questing and the broken trust in ridge dogmas and regurgitated facts is something positive in the old flat earth movement... just not the conclusion. The same thing applies here with evolutionary biology... the statement is backwards in just focusing on blood. We share 93% of our genome with aforementioned monkeys. This is a mysticism book and there tends to be a schism with dogmatic interpretations and ridged materialist reductionist biology. That said, in moving the argument to science, those should be the rules and they're completely backwards in terms of evolution and semi artificial selection from agriculture akin dog breeding or other domesticated plants and animals.
A dubious source made to sound credible is 'Operation High jump' mentioned on the page after the late on finishes (pp 49 &48). KGB sources are cited and in an Indian Jones way in terms of the Soviets 'leaving them behind' which is highly unlikely but what more likely is that it would make for a perfect "Active Measures" campaign (not dismissing antigravity but the source of a faulty tale) as much of this text feels like. Thomas Rid's book on the same name and Alan Dulles's "The Craft of Inelegance" go over 'forgeries' and 'false and damning stories' without using the Soviet term. The gist is to follow the Leninist model of not hitting where there's armor but where their is weak and tender flesh. Basically don't go after a strong point and hide behind one if attacks in mental combat (debate or narrative construction) but if you're opponent has messed up in the past or the target audience is ignorant on a topic and strong emotions can be applied (curiosity, envy, sympathy, anger, bonding, etc.) then those are the places to hit. Since many Western nations are highly diverse (Spanish, Portuguese, French, and British or Templar Nations), this skin color arrogance is a first step to fracture a society (usually since the Caucasians are a majority in population or power), followed by using abuse of power and inequality with grievances to stir minorities and let that dynamic circulate, but follow it up be creating suspicion and a sense of betrayal of the elites by the minorities and lower class caucasians with veiled communist rhetoric absent the terms (not all about wealth as the CIA and FBI are constant targets of tall tales). There's nothing saying it has to be Caucasians as many ethic majorities can balkanized but radicalizing the majority is obviously the more threatening and the domino effects in excluding others to later radicalize them is almost a given with outside help.
The last one is just an error as there are other issues that could be combed out. It deals with Friday the 13th as arbitrary numerology is given after a list of 12 for why the number is unlucky. The number is traditionally unlucky because of an actual conspiracy (they do happen) by the French King and the Pope to round out the Templars in France and take their wealth after years of providing a banking and protection system for pilgrims to the Holy Land. I don't think it's an accident as the date isn't mentioned 1307 October, Friday the 13th... only when the order was dissolved. One that day the greedy king found nothing but a bunch of old monks who were tortured into confessions and the Grand Master, Jacque de Molay, was burned alive (may he rest in peace). He was torched in 1314 and within a year the king died along with the Pope who did his bidding... and all three of the Kings sons (Roger Price's "A Concise History of France) putting an end to line not fit for Charlemagne's linage... and that is why Friday the 13th is seen as unlucky in terms of trying to rob, torture, and kill an order of monks. As for the dissolution date, the Brits just transferred their castles to the crown and the people were still there with Spain and Portugal just re-branding them to different named orders. I think it's left out because it contradicts the 'Shylock' narrative of Jews being the only individuals capable of greed and abuse of power... and further more it would imply Divine Providence over the West in disciplining it's short comings without a rousing a mob mentality.
Wouldn't recommend as the 'Motte and Baily' mental strategy requires knowing which is which or just double checking everything which would be tedious. The goal was to dissect Nazi Occultism for mental vaccines should it ever mutate and spread again, but it seems most propaganda that infects core belief systems follows a similar pathology. There definitely are glistening factoids and a skill for story telling but there's malevolent intent. There'd be value in distilling the deception down to a science and coming up with a better mental antidote as well as protecting spiritual seekers from getting caught in these traps with refined materials absent these impurities and dross.
I bought this book expecting it to explain more about Vril and how to use it. The book explains the history of Vril and how it was discovered. The good thing is it is a quick read and well written.
An excellent little book, but too short. More of a digest than a full-fledged work on the subject. Also, the topics covered were far and wide, not just focused on the Vril aspects. I was hoping for a book about the Germanic side of the traditions, not a cornucopia.
Still, it was an excellent informative book. this is why I'm giving it four as opposed to three stars. I wish the author could produce an in-depth work on the subject. One that's geared toward those of us who already have a pretty extensive background in occult studies.
I'm a big fan of Robert and regularly watch his YouTube videos. They are strongly recommended. They can be accessed here: https://www.youtube.com/@818encino
