I saw St. Nicholas performed by Brendan Coyle at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago in January, 2019. It’s the story of a cynical Dublin theatre critic who, enamored by an actress whose play he has panned, pursues her to London and encounters a group of vampires. The story has a level of sophistication and intelligence that stretches well beyond typical Hollywood horror films. I recommend this book.
