A young woman eager to find success.

When Madison Wells lands the job of Barbara Blackwell’s personal assistant at Manhattan conglomerate Wenn Enterprises, she thinks she knows what to expect. After all, Madison is no fool. Armed with a freshly-minted MBA, she’s researched her new boss, and she's well aware of Blackwell’s reputation as a hardcore perfectionist.

But reading about her boss is one thing. Coping with the woman's daily demands is another matter entirely, a brutal reality that Madison soon discovers in ways that are by turns harrowing, humiliating, and hilarious.

Enter Brock Wenn, the hot new hire, who is so sexy and gorgeous, he immediately makes Madison’s toes curl with lust. The daily struggle to satisfy her notoriously difficult boss isn’t Madison’s only problem. When her new job throws her into close proximity with her hunky new colleague Brock Wenn, electricity ignites between them.

Overwhelmed by their instant and undeniable attraction, Madison’s ability to focus on her job wavers, a lapse that her eagle-eyed boss spots immediately—and refuses to tolerate.

The flames of desire run high and hot in Ignite Me. But will those flames build into an inferno—or will the boss-from-hell snuff out Madison and Brock's budding office romance?

Ignite Me by Christina Ross, picks up the story about Brock, Alex Wenn’s cousin, who was introduced in Annilate Me 2, Volume 3 and you will not be disappointed. He is delicious and based on how the story ends (no cliffhanger) you know there is more to come about him and his lady love. The book is described as part of the Annihilate Me Series which in itself is exciting since you are connected again to Barbara Blackwell, Cutter, Epifania, Alex, Jennifer and the rest of the posse.

In this book you are introduced to Madison Wells and her psychic roommate Rhonda. Madison is hired as Barbara Blackwell’s assistant and that is the beginning of a journey that she didn’t even know she was destined to begin. Her roommate, Rhonda knows all about what is to come in Madison’s life, but due to an agreement they made years ago, she is not allowed to tell Madison what is coming in her life, nor who.

Even though this book appears to be a stand alone, you can see where there is more story to be told. I for one, hope Christina’s is inspired to tell us more about these characters.

Christina writes strong, well developed characters and no matter the story, you know you need to learn more about them and their lives. My only complaint about Christina’s books is actually a compliment, I hate when they end because I just want more, no matter how much she gives us, you know there is more and I hate to wait. I wait, with baited breath, for the next amazing book by Christina Ross.

Who could ever get tired of these characters! I love the fact that Madison and Brock are bringing on an extension of a great series. Truly captivating and 'divoon' at its best.
The story of these two starts out strong and builds from there. Watching two people learn from one another and fall in love - albeit very quickly- was a tremendous rendition to such a great series. Having the connection with Blackwell, Jennifer and Alex made the book that much more intriguing. You can see new stories unfold throughout the plot.
Brock and Madison were a great addition to the long list of characters. I was truly blessed to be able to read an advanced copy. I cannot wait to read more in the future. Christina has outdone herself again, as usual.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

There is a reason why Christina Ross will always be one of my favorite authors. Her writing is brilliant, her characters are intriguing, and her stories are captivating. As with her Annihilate Me and Unleash Me series, Ignite Me is wildly hot, romantic, and emotional... a definite winner!

A deep emotional love story.

This is the story of Brock & Madison. Brock is Alex Wenn cousin who has just finished college and is looking for a job. Alex offers him one in Wenn Enterprises. Madison goes for an interview to be Blackwell’s assistant Head of PR, and she gets it. Alex and Madison start on the same day. They can see each other from the are that they work. It’s instant electricity, which is odd for either of them. She doesn’t really want to get involved with anyone. She wants to concentrate on her job. He feels the same way. Brock is so attracted to her, he won’t give up trying to be with her. They give it a try for one night. They’d only known each other a week, but they will be forever together. This is a great, great story.

This book was absolutely awful. Has the author ever had an interaction with another human being before? This was like reading a romance novel written by Sheldon Cooper. Everything felt so unrealistic and stilted. No one talks like this. No one thinks like this. It was all utterly bizarre. And the section about farts? What the absolute fuck. How did ANYONE enjoy this!? Also, if I ever read “toots” or “roughage” again, I’m going to gouge my eyes out.

A great continuation of the Annihilate Me series.

In this book we get to know Brock Wenn, Alex Webb’s cousin and Madison, Ms Blackwell’s new assistant. We get to see some of our favorite characters from previous books. I can’t wait for the next book to read more from these characters

Also can I get a job at Wenn?? 🤣

I really got sucked into the Annihilate series. They actually aren't very well written - even typos and poor grammar in the writing, but the characters are great and some of it is just so ridiculous it's like watching a train wreck.

I loved Brock and Madison’s story and Brock certainly does remind me of his cousin, Alex and I loved it. It was good to have Alex, Jennifer and Blackwell in this book.

It didn’t even take a day to finish, it’s a quick read. It was a fine romance, there just wasn’t really any obstacles for them. It was all just too easy for my tastes

Brock and Madison find love at first sight. Both are struggling with new jobs and they don’t know if this attraction would be too much to derail them from their goals.

This book is a real "wenner"!!! Excellent story line that is fast paced and flows well. There are some twists and turns which keeps the story interesting. This book more than any other in the AM/Unleash Me series, is romantic. Ms. Ross has the ability to weave drama, suspense, comedy, humor, romance and great dialogue. Overall I would rate Ignite Me story a 4.45 and also give it a sexy rating of 4.5

A hallmark of this authors work is her character development. Ms. Ross has the ability to create three dimensional characters that really come alive. I have to say that I always feel that I am reading about friends that I know so well. In Ignite Me we are introduced to three new characters Madison and Brock (the h and H) as well as Rhoda, Madison's roomie and besty. These three fit into the story so well. The story also includes a major character from the other books, Barbara Blackwell. Initially Blackwell seems to be her usual caustic self but then quickly a seemingly nasty streak appears and continues throughout most of the book but it then seems to soften and we get back the softer, kinder and caring side of her.

While Ignite Me could be considered a "stand alone", its depth and breath are interconnected to the AM/Unleash Me/AM2 series. The back story for all of the other characters in Ignite Me (Jennifer, Alex, Epifania, Peachy, Tank and Lisa, Cutter) are part of the greater series. After you finish Ignite Me, I highly recommend you read the five books of Annihilate Me, three books of Unleash Me and the thee books of Annihilate Me 2.

I admit that I feel a deep connection to the story line and all of the characters in the series and want more of these characters as well as to learn more about Madison, Brock and Rhoda. I was thrilled to find out that there will be a holiday edition for AM2. I am waiting for much more Ignite Me!

I received an e-copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Ignite Me (The Annihilate Me Series) by Christina Ross I received an ARC copy of this book, and this is an honest review. In fact reading this book was a pleasure!!!

I'm very attracted to the Annihilate Me World, so I very much anticipate each new novel unfolding. In fact, I had already pre-ordered Ignite Me before I was asked to review the novel. So, I was thrilled to be a part of the review process.

Blackwell just jumped off the pages in this book. I can imagine dealing with her, because I've had bosses who would do anything for you, once they cared about you, but were "bears" before they did. So, many fond memories came up with Blackwell's antics as she puts Madison, her new assistant, through her paces.

One of my deeply held secrets is that I love the world of high fashion. So, the descriptions of beautiful clothes, jewelry, makeup, and hair tickle me. I really enjoy this aspect of Christina Ross's Annihilate Me novels.

Now, as to the focus characters, Brock and Madison. Brock was introduced in an earlier book, and I had wondered whether we were going to hear his story. In this Christina Ross really delivers. He's walked away from a fortune in search of personal freedom. Will his cousin Alex help him establish himself in the business world? Is Brock up to it?

I identified with Madison completely. I've been an educated, intelligent employee who contributed to my employer's bottom line but got passed up for promotions because I'm a woman. It's a tough world out there, and I really admired this lady. She's a character who women will like.

The fast-paced romance between Brock and Madison lightened the book, and at the end of my read, I was smiling, shaking my head at Blackwell's antics, and very glad to have spent a wonderful Sunday night in the Annihilate Me World.

Two thumbs up!!! Five stars!!! I can't wait for the next book in the series!!!

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Madison is Blackwells new assistant but she wants to further her career after a year. Brock Wenn is Alex's cousin and he wants to prove to his father that he can make it in the wourld without his money. When Brock and Madison meet sparks fly the moment they see each other but Blackwell warns Madison to stay away cause he's a womanizer. Brock can't seem to take no for an answer so he keeps persuing her.

I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review.
OMG, it seems as though I have been waiting forever for this book! I had it on pre-order forever and then I received an email from the author about signing up to be chosen to receive an ARC, and I jumped all over that. I was fortunate enough to be chosen! And I am truly honored to have this opportunity! After reading so many books from this series and spin-off books from this series, you would think that they would start getting a bit repetitious or even boring but not with these books or this author! I think this book is better than ever! The story-line is amazing. It flows so well and has just the right amount of angst and suspense to keep us drawn in to the story. The character development is outstanding, as always! With the addition of three new characters into the story, it feels like they have been a part of the story from the beginning. Ms. Ross has an amazing way of writing and you can't help but be sucked right into the story. I certainly am left feeling like I'm reading about friends instead of reading a story. I just hope that she continues with this story because I am NOT ready for it to be over yet! I want more! More about Lisa and Tank, more about Brock and Madison. I want more on Jennifer and Alex! I want to see them get their family. I want to read more on Barbara and her girls. I would love to even see Barbara find her plus one and get her HEA. Amazing job Ms. Ross, as usual! You have never disappointed me yet. If I could give this book, hell this series a higher rating than 5 stars, you would have it! Thank you so much for the amazing books!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review, and here it is: I loved it!

Every time I read anything by Christina Ross, I think it's my new favorite, and the same is true of this gem of a love story. We first meet Madison Wells as she is applying for a job at Wenn Enterprises, as Babara Blackwell's personal assistant. For those of you who've been following The Annihilate Me Series, you already know what she's in for, and are eagerly awaiting the fireworks to come. In addition to the hoops we expect Ms. Blackwell to have her jump through, we also get fireworks of a different kind, when Madison opens the office door and Brock Wenn, who is also starting a trial period with the company, is standing on the other side. For those of you who believe in instant attraction, you are in for such a deliciously sexy treat!

As if you weren't already hooked by the first chapter, wait until you meet Madison's roommate, Rhoda, a professional psychic--the real thing, and she's quite a fascinating secondary character in her own right. I foresee a sequel! Her explanation of one encounter with an elderly client had me sobbing, but it was a wonderful cry, in a wonderful book, that also had me in tears at the end. I predict that you're going to love this book as much as I did.

Ignite Me by Christina Ross is another fabulous read. Christina develops her characters into believable individuals that capture your attention. This story is about Madison Wells trying to get a foothold in the business world after graduating from Harvard and Brock Wenn, a cousin of Alex who is trying to make it without the family money. Since they are both trying to make a mark in the business world, a relationship for them causes plenty of obstacles.
She has brought back some of the characters from the Annihilate Series. By doing this you are able to get glimpses of some of the favorite characters. Barbara Blackwell is a major character in this story line and I must say I was beginning to not to like her at all. She seemed to be more obnoxious than when we first met her in the Annihilate Me series. But Christina knows when to rein her in so that you can still like her.
Even though this has the HEA, I didn’t want the story to end. Hopefully in the next book the characters will continue to develop and we will enjoy reading about Alex and Jennifer, Tank and Lisa and the forceful Barbara Blackwell.
Highly recommended!

Madison Wells is stuck in a dead end job, so looking for a career with room for advancement she applies at Wenn Enterprises hoping to become an assistant to Ms. Blackwell. Insisting that her sole focus is on her career Ms Blackwell hires Madison. If you have read the other books in the Annihilate Me series you know Madison is in for much more that she can imagine.
Brock Wenn has just been given a chance to prove himself to Alex and secure a position at Wenn Enterprises. When Brock and Madison meet outside Ms. Blackwell's office sparks fly and tensions run high as both try to stay focused on the careers they want.
Christina Ross continues to introduce us to interesting characters in this series. It was wonderful to visit again with Alex, Jennifer & Ms. Blackwell. I hope this series lets us learn more about Rhonda while we are getting to know what happens with Madison & Brock.
I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Since I have read the other books in the Annihilate Me series I have to say this one is just as Divoon as the others have been.
I'm ready for the next book.

A received this as an ARC for an Honest review:

If you have read ANY of Christina Ross's books you must certainly must continue with this one.You will not be disappointed!!! I absolutely fell in love with Madison and Brock from the beginning. Madison has such great character. I loved that she took all that Blackwell threw at her as she knew where it would get her and she dealt with it, but yet stood up to her when she had to. If there is one thing a I had to say negatively it would only be that Brock needed to be there more. I was able to get a good feel of his character but so wanted much more. One of the things I loved most about this was that many of the characters from Annihilate Me series where brought back with supporting roles. That is such a great thing. I am really looking forward to the next book in this series, can't wait to see where it takes them. I kept having this feeling that there is so much more to Brock then he is letting on.. maybe a little psychic like Rhoda, is that why she couldn't get a read on him??? Hmmmmm
