Small town life is not what I imagined. When my great aunt died and left me her house, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Serial-killer neighbours, hot men everywhere I look, new friends inviting me to book club, and being chased by flesh-eating zombies probably weren’t on my bingo card. I learned a few things really quickly:
1. I have a very overactive imagination, and maybe my neighbours aren’t who I thought they were. 2. I hate Halloween. 3. Maybe I’m not too much; maybe I just needed two men to help me find my happy ever after, although, right now, I’d settle for them both giving me a happy ending before the zombie finds us.
The only problem with my new situation? I think my new neighbours might be as into each other as they are me, and neither of them seems to realise it. The night we spend together unlocks some demons, and they are forced to confront their past; the only question is, what’s left when the dust settles?
Chasing Autumn is a Halloween-themed MFM that becomes an MMF.
Esme is a 40 something romance author from the North East of England. She started writing romance during lockdown and developed a love of crafting stories about tattooed broken boys and the relationships that help them heal. Esme writes all sorts of tropes, but one theme runs through her books - love comes in all shapes and sizes and her stories celebrate that.
Love a Spooky, Steamy, Small Town tale, well this is right up your street. Having inherited a house from her aunt, Autumn meets Asher & Silus, her new next door neighbours. The men have been firm friends since a near death experience a few years before and are very close. Autumn hates Halloween with a vengeance, sadly her new friends love it and they persuade her to come to the town celebration where things definitely go bump in the night and Autumn finds herself attracted to both of these men. Is it possible that they could ever feel the same way for her or is this relationship going to crash and burn from the start. Grab this short story and find out for yourself, and let Esme rock your world to the core for Halloween.
Autumn has just moved in next door to Silus and Asher after inheriting her great aunt’s house. She spends her time making illustrations for books and she is not a fan of Halloween.
Silus and Asher become roommates and best friends after suffering an accident together and own a local bar.
Both guys meet Autumn at different times but soon learn they both want her and maybe each other 😜
This book had me 🥵. This book was really good. A short, spicy love book.
Why choose 🤷♀️
Asher and Silus are best friends, have been through hell and back when it comes to an almost tragedy. They've found themselves healing each other and have been inseparable ever since. Til Autumn moves in next door, and they realize it's not a girl theyre willing to let pass them by. Til they realize, how is this going to work? One night with Autumn and they find out that not only is Autumn going to be a permanent person but the friendship they have is no longer friends. They find themselves figuring out that Autumn has brought them together and their feelings.
Sweet, spicy, and emotional. Autumn moves to town to live in the house left to her by her great aunt. She didn't expect to find such a close knit community or to be so attracted to BOTH her hot new neighbors, Asher and Silus. She starts dating both of them, and things progress quite quickly. What the guys don't expect is to finally realize they have feelings for each other! Autumn becomes the glue that brought them and holds them together. It was a perfect quick, Halloween read. Loved it!!!
This was a lovely story of 3 people coming together.
It had none of the suspense that Esme’s books usually hold, but I loved it just the same.
It felt easy and warm, watching how Silas and Asher finally worked out how they felt about each other. Autumn was a breath of fresh air, who matched the two men perfectly.
Very well written. Had me smiling from ear to ear. I am glad it is a novella because if it were longer it may have been filled with more angst and taken them longer to work through their issues. Took only a few hours.
Cute lil halloween read for those who love the season but don't want anything too dark. Loved the MM aspect of this MMF and Autumn is a cute FMC. Perfect October read
I do love me a good bi awakening and this did not disappoint! I loved this book so much and loved its characters. I highly recommend reading this during the fall, it fits the vibe so well !
