The magic, the artistic characterization, the quality writing skills needed to grip readers so firmly that they can't free themselves from the bonds of curiosity, all unfold in The Big Show. The author's first two books were marvelous literary works, but the third is a symphony; a masterful rendition of brilliance that keeps the story in the forefront, while cleverly subduing the deep, dark underworld of government, until the corruption and perversion can simply no longer be contained. I have read many authors, but one who has the capability to immediately grace the reader with layers of suspense, suggests to me that this author, and her writings, exhibits a gift that many authors only believe they have. I highly recommend this book to everyone, and be prepared for a lengthy sit, because you won't put it down...
This is where the trilogy really takes off and our protagonist finds herself continuing to traipse right through a massive conspiracy to move dark money, elevate people to power, and kill or manipulate anyone who gets in the way. Despite having been gaslighted, robbed, conned, and nearly killed several times, our plucky protagonist continues her journey to the inevitable end of normalcy and into a bizarre world of brilliantly absurd reality.
