Matthew "Matty" Di’Maggio and Nicolette "Nico" Richards are thrown into a rather difficult situation. Their families want them to marry for the sake of Matty’s dying Grandma... Now it’s simple really; all they have to do is get married and pretend to be a couple in love.
There goes that word “love.”
The question at hand is do they love each other or is it one-sided? Matty’s problem is that he’s in love with Nico, and Nico’s problem is that she’s in love with Matty, so why is it so hard for them to believe that they have to go through with this? Because they are two people who are in love with each other but hiding it from one another, making their journey much more difficult than it should be.
What do you get when you mix Nico’s vibrant, happy, smiling personality with Matty’s angry, annoyed, dominating personality? ... Let the chasing being.
I really enjoyed this book from the beginning to the end. Nico and Gabriel's relationship was too funny, but the love Matty and Nico had was hot. I really hate they wasted so much time crushing after each other. Then she running off for six months, and coming back with a bun in the oven wasn't cool. So I can't wait to see what happens next.
After another read of this book , all I can say is WOW. LOVE THIS SERIES AND THE AUTHOR. Excellent characters, Awesome storyline. I wish you write what's going on with everyone Especially Gabriel. IJS
Ahhh this book was cool not too much to fuss about but I gave it 4 stars because there were a lot of funny parts between Nico and the Di'maggio brothers esp Gabe. As per usual the sex scenes were like a blank space to me.
This was a good read it had a lot of typos but I like the story. I thought they both wasted to much time by not telling each other how they felt. Can't wait to see what happens next, hope it's not a long wait. He seems like a wimp to me. Can't see how he couldn't recognize how she felt he knew she was crushing on him since her teen years. Matty seems childish to me and after all they been through he could up and leave.
I'm sorry, I tried to get into this book, I usually like new authors from Jessica Watkins Presents, but I like an Alpha Male and Matt was a punk, I mean why after he married Nico did he not tell her he loved her...then for this to be a second part. WOW!
I am so glad I read Unravelling Sorrentino first before going back to the beginning or else I probably would have read no further. Matty and Nico's story was almost juvenile to me. The towing and frowning of he love me she loves me not was driving me nuts. I decided to keep going and read book 2.
Omg, they danced around one another, Nico and Matty. It was starting to drive me insane. Poor Gabe was like the middle man to me. I can't wait for the next book.
Im sooo glad Matty and Nico finally got it together and she found family she didnt know she had. Gabriel finding love but with all the good that's happening things are still trying to destroy this family and Nico just can't catch a break. Now Gabe and Nico are left in a coma so will Matty seek revenge on the possible suspects can't wait to see what happens next.
Nicolette and Matty had a planned marriage but they were truly in love with each other before that event they just did not know how to tell each other. I love how the author shows how 2 people don't realize what is in front of them the whole time .
Wow! This book was so good. I really enjoyed this book the way Matty and Mic loved each other for so long without either one of them knowing how the other one felt. I would recommend this book
I read all three books in this series. Fast read with drama, action and romance. Marty and Nico's story has twists and turns but turnS out love overcomes any obstacles.
I tried y'all...I tried desperately to get into this book... I should've stayed with my first instinct....after a long avoidance of book 1 and all the less than stellar reviews....I decided to get both books...and now I know better..the lead female character Nico comes off spoiled, over indulgent, bratty and very immature...it seems her male counterpart Matthew comes off as the mature and responsible husband and father...she pouts and whines and have meltdowns at the drop of a hat...constantly behaving outrageously with other men and especially with her husband's brother....I fast forwarded to the end and to my delight she got shot....finally.....I could not take one more word from her mouth....I am definitely not looking forward to a part 3 ...it's a shame though...I really hoped this author was going to improve on her story telling....it feels like bits and pieces from similar well written stories.....too bad
I really wanted to enjoy this book, more than I did. The storyline was there, it's just the way it was written that made it not live up to its full potential. The storyline skipped all over the place, and sometimes I felt like a teenager wrote it. I also didn't like the main male character DiMaggio very much. For him to be so take charge when it came to other things, he seemed very childish, and not dominant enough for me as a man. I don't understand why he just didn't tell her his feelings. It was an ok read, and I'm going to read part to, cause I want to know what happens, and I like to give books chances, hoping they approve in the next installment.
It was an alright storyline. Matty and Nico was in love with each other but didn't neither told the other how they felt. So when their parents suggest they get married for Matty grandmother sake they decided to just go for it. So this is my issues, Matty wouldn't tell Nico how he really felt and I just cant understand why?? They were married for over 5 months and still neither spoke their true feelings!! How is that possible?
Lack of communication and insecurities can kill a relationship
Matty and Nico had to overcome their fear of the other knowing how they really felt about each other. Nico loved Marty so much that she was willing to let him go to be with someone and end thought he was really in love with. If they had only been honest with each other, there would not have been a story to write. This was a cute ready read love story.
This was my first time reading this author and I was not disappointed...I will definitely read her again. I can't wait to read book 2. Marty and Nicollet were funny and loving. I would love to read about Gabrielle finding his true love.
All in all I loved the book just proofread your material. There were some bad grammar and spelling mistakes.
DNF at 50% I could not connect with the characters. I wanted to like this book but it reads like a high school kid wrote it. The characters were all very immature and there were a lot of grammatical mistakes.
I liked this book much better then the first one. Its seems that you put more into this book. This book had me crying and laughing. It is a very emotional read but love prevail. Can't wait to read the next book!
This book was very difficult to read because it seemed to be all over the place - the structure and grammar and even the story did not make alot of sense - I dont mean to offend but I could not finish it.
Stupid asf. Really don't get the purpose of telling us she waited til marriage just to fuck before marriage. This reads cheap, and fake. No one says "haha" out loud. The dialogue needs work. After the first dumbass sex scene i could tolerate no more.

I liked this story very much. It had everything that a good story should. I loved the characters and the story line. Can't wait for the next installment
I really like the Di'Maggio family. Matty and Nico are in love with each other. Took them long enough to admit it. Looking forward to reading the next book.
