Received an ARC for an honest review! Do you love the McKenzie family? Well get ready because you are going to fall hard for the De La Fuente family. Lexi Buchanan has brought us another family to fall in love with and this series will be on fire. Love in Montana grabs you from the beginning and you just want to be a part of the story. Lexi Buchanan gives you a fun, hot, sexy, sassy and mysterious read. Sylvia is smart, sassy, beautiful and knows what she wants in life. Eric, mercy me, he is a tall drink of water and sex on two legs. I am going to claim him. Eric and Sylvia go on a journey together and they learn more about themselves and each other. Along the way Lexi introduces you to more of the De La Fuente family. There is a perfect balance of heat, love, mystery and any other emotion you could possibly feel. I couldn't help but laugh at some of the characters and the words that were used. I laughed, cheered and was hopeful. I loved this book and I look forward to reading more of this series. I got the best of both worlds (heat/love and mystery/suspense). I enjoyed the fact that while there are secrets to be revealed there were still feelings that were put on the table. All I can say is bring on the De La Fuente family because I am ready!!!!!!
4.5* A really great start to this new series, I really liked reading about Dante, and Eric in the few McKenzie novels they appeared in and had been looking forward to this spin off series. Which starts with Eric and Sylvia, who after some false starts get together when Sylvia is threatened and end up visiting Eric's family home in Montana and the rest of the De La Fuente family. However the relationship between Eric and Sylvia is far from smooth especially when surrounded by lots of family drama.
The story itself was really enjoyable to read, and at times really hot. The De La Fuente family when together were great!! and I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of these stories, especially Dante's which I'm so glad is next!! For now though I would happily recommend this story to others, especially if your a fan of the McKenzie's.
Love in Montana is the first of six books set amongst the De La Fuente siblings, some of whom you may have been introduced to during The McKenzie series. This is Eric's story, he falls hard and fast for Sylvia even though he 'knows' she has a thing for his cousin! I loved the element of suspense in book, but to be honest I love all things Lexi Buchanan! You need to one click it!
I liked the characters. But I never got emotionally involved with any of them. I found myself setting the book down often. Nothing grabbed me wouldn't let go that I had to keep reading. It just wasn't the book for me.
This is the first book I have read by this author. I didn't love it. It was an ok read for me but I didn't connect with the characters at all. I thought Eric was an Ass and Sylvia came off to me as weak. She gave in to much, she didn't stand up for herself. She ran when things got a little hard.
I will read more because to be honest Dante was the one character that I felt I wanted more of. I look forward to reading his story.
Grab this story just because I didn't love it doesn't mean you won't!!
A great read with some highly erotic love scenes to get the motor running. The characters blended well together, with a few hurdles along the way. Eric was all broody and came on hot and heavy, which was just to Sylvia's liking. He really was quite irresistible. I was dying to find out who was leaving the note for Sylvia, and did not expect the way it came out. This book was full of surprises, and the author kept you captivated with Eric and Sylvia, and their constant thirst for each other. With just a hint of the second book, it left me hanging to read the next book in this series. A great book by a talented author.
Absolutely Loved this book & Can't wait for the next book
After falling in love with all the McKenzie brothers & getting the chance to meet both Eric & Sylvia in the McKenzie series I was really excited to read this crossover series. Eric is the McKenzie brother's cousin & Sylvia works for the McKenzie brothers. She also has decided to take on a side job as an exotic dancer at Poles. I loved the story & all the twists & surprises in this book. If you enjoyed the McKenzie brothers series, then you will enjoy this series as well. You get more of the McKenzie brother's stories in the background.
WOW! 4,5* I have to say I wasn’t surprised, that this story would be this great because hey, it's been written by one of my favourites authors. But I have to confess I really enjoyed reading about Sylvia and Eric also when this story was written from 3rd person POV and I actually prefere dual or 1st person POV. The best thing is ...the next story about Dante and Emilia is practically leaking out and my thirst for them won't be stilled till the next book is released.
loved it Eric and Sylvia where made for one another the love they have for one another is amazing but they both a little stubborn and the love they have for they family they would do anything for them I had a hard time putting it down
I'm not going to lie this book kind of pissed me off. Eric was an ass and Sylvia was a cry baby. She forgave him too easily. I loved all the other books and I really want to read Dantes story. Over all it was a good read just frustrating characters.
