About the author

Michelle Hughes is an American author who writes contemporary romance. She was awarded a Kindle Press contract for her 2017 release, Cowboy Sanctuary, and has 29 other books self-published. Hughes studied journalism at Jefferson State college. Prior to a career in publishing she worked as a respiratory therapist. Michelle was also a Nashville recording artist who performed under the stage name, Regina Michelle.

Her continuing book publications include the Tears of Crimson series, Fantasy’s Bar & Grill series, and the You Don’t Know Jack series. Well known single book titles include, Five Nights, Rude, and Sin. A new series released September 3rd, 2018 is Fantasy Isle a continuation of the Fantasy’s Bar & Grill series.

Hughes lives in Verbena, Alabama with her husband. They have five children. Her goals are to continue writing and sharing her love of romance with readers.

I wasn't gonna rate this. It was steaming pile of eye-rolls. But in the end, my rating is totally justified. This had so many problems, the premise doesn't even enter into the rating.

This is not a HEA/HFN couple book. It is about the H/h entering into an open relationship where they say ILY. A relationship that had no build up or showed no connection between characters to explain their love...and by the end (a week or so after they meet) they're trying to have a baby.

I've read studies where open relationships can work...but...

I've known three couples in them. One couple dropped the open when they got married. The second couple stayed open until they divorced. The third couple still has an open marriage (they're now in their 60s) and the wife wanted it to no longer be open 20+ years ago. They're still married, their daughter (only child) is totally fucked up and incapable of longterm relationships, and the wife is secretly heartbroken because the hubby refused to stop seeing other women...and the fighting in that house. Jesus. She's like a powder keg everyday and no one in their house will address the reason why.

So I can't really see the ending in this book as a realistic happy place. This is going to be a series about 6 guys finding their ladies. Two of that 6 share their women. So...let's face it...how can you add another 4 women PERMANENTLY into their household that'll be all about the sharing? Cuz that's easy. And one woman has already been with them all? A house of 11 people? All fucking each other? Or just people they don't live with? Now I'm a pretty sexually liberal chick, but I think that gives ME the bugged-out eye face.

Now, I also know 2 trios in long-term polyamorous/ménage relationships where there is no cheating outside the trio. One is 10years old (m/m/f) and the other pushing 20years old (f/m/f)...those relationships still work beautifully. But it all goes back to not being open, just multiple permanent partners.

I live in New Orleans...in case you want to know where all these wild sexy-times are occurring ;)

Safety gang: AFTER the H/h sleep together for the FIRST time...h gets oral from one OM, sex with another OM (who fucked her friend the night before). Then a ménage with the H and yet another OM. H has sex with an OW.

Nitty-gritty: there were grammar issues out the wazoo. Word usage/choices were wrong (a quick google check would have solved most) and sometimes words were just missing. It wasn't badly written, but it wasn't written by anyone with a background in writing. This needed an editor so badly...even a BFF that could read for obvious errors.

2 stars because it's erotica and not just standard romance. Otherwise, it's a big fail. Even the sex wasn't really that great...just pass.

"Super Sexy Hunks!"
This is another amazing story by the incredible "Michelle Hughes"!. This Gal really knows how to turn a person on with her books!. The story line is scorching hot and intense. The characters are what dreams are made of!.
Dane and his buddies are more like brothers. They grew up together then joined the service together now they run a sexy hot restaurant called "Hunks" together. Brandt,Dane,Noah,Nick,Ian and Colton are the owners. Six gorgeous super hot men!. Each Man has had a rough past but to a point has over come most of their problems. "Hunks" does not just serve up food they also serve up entertainment that is every Woman's fantasy!
Erin is a young woman who has spent the last three years taking care of her dying Aunt till she passed away of cancer. Now it is her twenty-first birthday, and her besties set out to make it a night to remember. They give her the full "Hunk" package lol. Dane is the one chosen to show this little gal a good time.Whats starts out as a good time for a little Virgin turns out to be so much more!
There is also suspense as Erin's best friends Dad wants Erin and will do any thing to get her!. Can these hunky men protect Erin and will she loose her heart in "Hunks"?.
This super amazing hot book is a five-star plus Romance!!

Great story

Good book, and great story. Loved the hunks. Michelle does it again. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because I like only one to love. I know there is open couples but it isn't for me

This book opens up with the H f**king another woman. (One of many one-night stands)
I guess I should've keep on but it turned me off so badly I couldn't shake it off.
So yes, you guessed right, I didn't finish this book so whatever else happens, read it at your own risk.

Soooo....
The book was a hot short read and hot,BUT.... WTF!??!?!
i'm sorry if my review seems a bit harsh but a had to vent!
Erin was supposed to be a super reclusive and afraid of intimacy type of girl. but man, for someone so inexperienced and scared of men, she became a total slut.
I really tried to appreciate it and understand her character, but before Dane even did something with someone else she had already skinny-dipped with his friends, and had two sexual experiences with two other, of which one of them actually fucked her! I mean really!!!!!!! How can she be so gullible and not see how foolish and slutty she was acting. All the men were like we will do anything for each other, but were all choosing the new girl over their friend that they've known for ages.
And when everyone could see that he obviously liked her, They still went behind his back and offered her sexual lessons AND at first she was afraid and wanted a day to think about it since she just had sex with dane but she started with the first one a few hours later!
Also when she was with the other guys she never once thought about dane but after getting together with him again she told him she loved him!
Again wtf!!!
So only after 80% did i understand that the book is about non-monogamous couple in a very one-sided open relationship, where the female lead thinks of the six men as hers???!??
Anyway all in all the book was one huge contradiction and i didn't like it.
I should not have bought it. But i expected something else.

I have a huge freakin' smile on my face. :) Why? The reason is this book!! With Dane & Erin, this being their story but really it's not because of the other 5 men around who all have come to love and cherish Erin. None of them want to see her get hurt especially in the situation that she's in. I honestly could not just choose one. I did like seeing Erin come into her own. From losing her virginity to having the little trysts with some of the guys. As I look at it, it was all part of her growth. Dane had some issues but were solved. It really was funny how he reacted to love. He didn't know what the emotion of love was. I saw him feel it. He just couldn't accept it without looking at what the world has thrown at him. So while Erin is being 'saved' by these generous, loving, protective men, she also 'saved' one of them, too. Honestly, it got me right in the feels. It's sexy, taboo, sweet, & full of Alphas to get those panties melting. I love it. And hey, Brandt's story is next!! Yay!! <3

The Hunks.....smoking hot!!!! Loved Dane and Erin story. Not only Dane has feeling for her but all the men want to love and protect her as well. Dane didn't know what to o with his feelings, but this sweet, virginal, innocent sweet girl walks into his life, she knocks him on his as*, and in the end they both are being saved. This was funny, heartwarming, sexy, taboo, and tough macho sexy hotness....

Way more than I bargained for, couldn't put it down. The cover says "Dane" but you get so much more. This is true erotic romance, even though a little unrealistic at times- it was well worth it.

Michelle Hughes just threw me a unique storyline and I devoured it.

This is Dane and Erin's story. Dane is one of the sexy 'Hunks' that own a restaurant. The restaurant doesn't just serve delicious food but also serves women's secret fantasies. When Erin's friends treat her to the full package for her birthday she gets more than she bargained for.

I found this to be a really hot erotic romance. I may have snorted a few times while reading it lol

I've got to admit that although I found some of the story a tad far fetched it's still getting a five star from me. Why? Well I read to escape reality. This did just that and I loved it.

This was beyond entertaining. I did not want this to ever end. It had so twists and turns I did not expect but somehow just seemed right for the context of the story. Recommend if you are interested in hunky men rescuing damsel in distress after becoming her adopted "family" of protectors. Very erotic. It better than good.
