Now a young college student, Ava meets Caleb Foster, a brilliant and mysterious man who's supposed to help her pass physics, but in reality has another mission in mind. What he shows Ava challenges her view of the world, shaking it to its very core.
Because Caleb isn't quite what he seems. In fact, he's not entirely human, and he's not the only one.
Together, the duo faces a threat from an ancient race bound to protect humans, but only after protecting their own secrets--secrets they fear Ava may expose. Fighting to survive, Ava soon learns she's not actually normal . . . she's not even just special.
T.M. Franklin writes stories of adventure, romance, & a little magic. A former TV news producer, she decided making stuff up was more fun than reporting the facts. Her first published novel, MORE, was born during National Novel Writing month, a challenge to write a novel in thirty days. MORE was well-received, being selected as a finalist in the 2013 Kindle Book Review Best Indie Book Awards, as well as winning the Suspense/Thriller division of the Blogger Book Fair Reader's Choice Awards. She's since written four additional novels and several best-selling short stories...and there's always more on the way.
This series was fabulous to read. A real page turner. I couldn't put it down. The characters came to life. Normally do not like love stories, but these books had enough intrigue and adventures, that the love story took a back seat. There was magic, suspense, excitement, and mystery that it boggled the mind. I can wait to read further installments of their exciting adventures.
The More Trilogy is a good story. Without all the stupid sex stuff to try to keep the story going. It’s a real story, with possible real people. It’s also touches on racial issues and who is better them or us. A typical college student meets the love of her life and as the story progresses she finds out that not only is he more than human, so is she and she’s not alone. She was an only child but no longer. First time reader of this author and now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative series. i was hooked after the first page.
The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.
i would highly recommend this author and this series.
It has been a while since I have read this genre...
A genre that encompasses sci-fi, thriller, supernatural, psychotic... It was all of those things, plus romance, family unity, and more. I was impressed.
This was a really good trilogy, keep me entertained and guessing at each twist and turn what would happen next. The characters are likeable and the story flows really well.
As a child, she fantasized about having magical powers . . . making things happen. But Ava grew up and eventually accepted the fact that her childish dreams were just that, and maybe a normal life wasn't so bad after all. TM Franklin does a great job in pulling you into Ava & Caleb's lifes. This is a fast paced story that blows apart Ava's generally normal life and introduces her to a complete different one. Along the way Ava and Caleb fall for each other. There is the usual trials and tribulations that two people who appear to be from "different worlds" have. If you enjoy a paranormal romance with a bit of meat around it then I would say this triology is for you.
