When you get hit by it, you will know. Aubrey Tanner is married to her work. With her recent separation from long-time boyfriend and the town’s most eligible bachelor, she definitely isn’t looking for love. Working in her bakery keeps her busy, feeds her the town gossip, and pays the bills, all that she needs… At least until she finds herself under attack with no way to save herself. You can’t see it, but it takes your breath away. Tate Manning travels where the leads take him, like a tourist town with a bakery full of sugary concoctions, the sweetest of which is the owner. In the right place, he pulls her out of harm’s way, allowing him to see through the town’s sleepy veneer to the crime running beneath the surface. Worse, Aubrey is unknowingly in the center of it all, and he can’t bear another innocent to be lost on his watch. In that moment, love changes everything. Neither Aubrey nor Tate expects the temptation the other brings nor the complications. Aubrey must choose between the man that held her heart for years or the stranger who saves her from a bad situation. Unfortunately, Tate brings with him secrets and an agenda. How will he choose between his mission of revenge and the woman who chases away the darkness?

This is a delightful Romance Story, it was well written and so beautifully told.

Tate Manning, is dealing with a tragic event in his life, it’s a heart breaking and lonely journey but one he is not going to let go until he finds his answers, it’s a mission he won’t back down from until he tracks down the person / persons involved in this tragedy.

Aubrey Tanner owns and runs a bakery, this is her life which keeps her extremely busy with not much time for herself it's a very popular bakery in the town where she lives, she recently parted from her long term boyfriend Emerson who as far as I'm concerned is one very dangerous and sneaky person and a whole lot more, Emerson is a bachelor, the towns "Hottie " that all women drool over and there's a whole lot more to come from him in this story.

Tate Manning ends up in the town, looking for information whilst waiting decides to go to the bakery for a coffee which is when he meets Aubrey and as one would say sparks fly,
Two souls meet, connection made, Tate's on a mission and won’t be deterred….or will he?

Want more??? Read the full story to find out where it leads!

There are lots of elements to the story which keeps you on the edge of your seat in some parts, it starts off a little sad & then your heart is in your mouth, with adrenaline at full speed, then settles into one of the most beautiful Romance stories around.

What I will say whilst reading this book was it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.

It was tragic, it's was sweet it's was beautifully romantic, some parts I got irritated and annoyed, it was exciting with just the right amount of sexual content for this story and towards the end it got even more, captivating, mushy & gushy, sweet as sugar candy, with some tears of happiness and joy and the ending was the icing in the Cake!

A totally beautiful engaging exciting romantic read, with an Awesome Twist too!

Congratulations Renee Lee Fisher on another beautiful Romance Story.

I finished this book and it was amazing!!!!
Tate and Aubrey are the perfect match for each other!! Tate comes to town on a tip. Aubrey is getting over a break up plus running a bakery. One day Aubrey comes in contact with danger . Tate came in the picture to save her.
Aubrey had to go through so much..:( the shit she had to go through with Emerson.. Tessa is a back stabbing hoe bag!! I really hate those assholes!
I am glad Tate came to that town..he was always there for her at the right time when she needed him most.
I got a little worried about the fight she had with Tate when she heard him and Reed talking about the bust. Then parting ways for awhile. I loved the ending!
You truly did a AMAZING JOB WITH THIS STORY!!

Renee Lee Fisher entered my book cover battle, one of the prizes was for me to purchase, read and review Derailed. After 3 rounds this beautiful cover won. I have just finished her book and here is my review. Firstly, I loved the writing style, it was detailed but for me not too much. I won’t give spoilers, so if you’ve yet to read it’s safe to continue with this review. I loved the plot and the relationship with the characters was nicely done. I was kept wanting more and to see where the story took me. Aubrey was a lovely sweet character and I liked her a lot. Tate although at times seemed to love himself a bit too much was a great character, I liked their relationship.

This book had a great plot with lots of drama, with twists that were very well done.

This was the first book by this author and I doubt it will be the last. Great read, I look forward to more from Renee Lee Fisher.

Congratulations on being my winner and thank you for a fantastic read. A well-deserved 4 stars.

Stunning!! Just stunning! I truly loved this book. Renee Lee Fisher takes you on such a beautiful emotional rollercoaster. She gave me all the feels I need in a great read. I will be thinking about this story for a while!

Tate Manning is dealing with a terrible tragedy. He is searching for the people responsible for his wife's murder. What he didn't expect to find was a beautiful woman in a bakery that he is drawn to.

Aubrey Tanner owns her own bakery and is loved by the community. She is dealing with a failed relationship with the towns most eligible bachelor Emerson. He has some issues that she doesn't want to be associated with.
An unspeakable act of violence brings her closer to Tate and sparks fly. But will she go back to Emerson or hope for something more with Tate?

The story was beautifully written and will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters come to life on the pages.

Renee Lee Fisher has quickly become an automatic one click for me.
Definitely a must read author!!

I really enjoyed this story.
Aubrey has a bakery, her roommate and friend Tessa, and her ex-boyfriend Emerson.
Life isn't exactly smelling of roses for her but she gets by. Until a stranger appears in town and saves her from assault.
Tate's had his own woes, but things begin to change when he saves Aubrey.
But things aren't always as they seem and there are many twists to this plot. Read it and find out for yourself. :)

A cute and satisfying love-mystery story though at times I want to bonk the heroine over the head for being so gullible with her boyfriend. The undercover cop is certainly a better choice. The food sounds yummy.

This is my first Renee Lee Fisher book, and I am happy to say I will be back for more. I found the characters easy to relate to, the plot easy to understand, and the book very enjoyable.
Aubrey Tanner a bakery owner has separated from her boyfriend Emerson, the towns most wanted hottie. Then Tate Manning ventures into town, hoping to solve a personal life tragedy. Instant sparks ignite between Aubrey and Tate. Will Aubrey choose new love over comfortable love? Will Tate find the answers to his personal heartbreak? I won't give it away, you will have to read it!
I am one who immerses themselves into a book, I cry, I get angry, I feel happy, I get the adrenaline rush right along with the characters. I found myself doing all of the above.
There was even a surprise twist I certainly didn't expect. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a love story, with some suspense.

Renee Lee Fisher puts Tragedy Turned into Love on the pages in her book Derailed. Tate's goal in finding out who killed his wife Callie brought him to be in the right place at the right time when he rescued Aubrey. Aubrey the owner of a Bakery brings back feelings that Tate thought he would never feel again. But in their way of being together is a boyfriend named Emerson that was into drugs and had a hold on Aubrey. Until Tate finds that out and does his own digging into Emerson's back ground which leads him to helping the local police department to close down his operations. But in the mean time Aubrey thinks she is being used and is hurt by what she overhears. Can they find the Love again as they go their separate ways. I recommend this book.

This story held my attention from beginning to end. A love story with some mystery and suspense thrown in to keep me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed getting to know Tate and Aubrey, with a front row seat in an emotional roller coaster that shows the absolute healing power of true love. I was intrigued by the town and secondary characters and that unexpected twist!!! I highly recommend this book!

You know, Sweet Treats is a great name for a bakery. I love the name and I think that the name of this book is quite appropriate as well. Derailed. Sent off path to a degree. That is pretty much what happens when Tate shows up in this town looking for leads on his wife's murder. What he finds instead is Aubrey. After saving said damsel in distress, the two start falling for each other and quite quickly. There's just one problem: Aubrey has a man. And not a good one. Emerson is plain awful. In fact, Aubrey seems to be a terrible judge of character. She seems to turn a blind eye to the obviously bad things going on around her. But her heart beats wildly for Tate. At the same time, she has this idea that Emerson has been good to her. I just couldn't get past that part. Aubrey has no idea what's going on around her or just how serious a situation it is. She seems almost too naive. Otherwise I really enjoyed reading her and Tate's story. His demons were really drawn out for the reader to see and to feel. And I found Aubrey to be quite a sweet character.

Aubrey runs the local bakery and recently broke up with her ex-boyfriend Emerson because she didn’t agree with things he did and realised love shouldn’t be that hard.
Tate travels to the small town to try to find information about his wife’s killer, instead he meets Aubrey at her Sweet Treats bakery. The chemistry between them noticeable to both and neither can deny what they feel for each other.
They both had issues to work through that the other didn’t realise and even those issues didn’t stop them falling in love. Loved the storyline and how the characters worked through everything to get their happily ever after. Can’t wait to read another book by this author.

"...they knew they would never become derailed from this love..."

Renee Lee Fisher is a new to me author. Derailed, completely sucked me in!! This author definitely has a way with words! The story was sound and the characters were created beautifully. For Tate Manning, "a tip brought him to the town, but more than that was keeping him there." Aubrey Tanner was content with her sweet little bakery until this rugged man entered her establishment. "It makes you tingle, lose time, and forget everything that surrounds you. In that moment, love changes everything." Do Tate and Aubrey have a chance for "love?" Or will their short relationship get derailed from secrets kept?

This book was pretty awesome. It had a great storyline and great characters. Absolutely love how mysterious Tate was and his chemistry with Aubrey was perfect. Aubrey developed so much throughout the book, she's definitely one of my favorite characters. I wish I could have tried one of her sweet treats! I loved all the twists and interconnection everyone had. My only complaint is that sometimes between the flashback and present it was a little hard to follow. Overall this was a great book and really enjoyed it!

This is the first book that I have read by Renee Lee Fisher. This is one of those books that makes you believe in hope, love, and most of all… patience. There is also betrayal and suspense.

My favorite part of the book was learning about each character’s background and history. And how their pasts made them the people they are today. The story had believable realism which is a quality to a book that I look for.

Two people battling their inner painful demons but in turn help each other heal and find a connection they never saw coming.

“In that moment, love changes everything.”

This was my first book by this author and it was a good story although I found the flow of the story a little slow and disjointed at times. Tate was a good character, recovering from a painful event in his past, and trying to find justice. Aubrey was a sweet character, but I found her to be annoying most of the time. Her cluelessness over Emerson and the way he just barrelled his way into her life was what annoyed me I think. Tate and Aubrey are good together and I was glad Tate found love once again. The ending was sweet and overall an enjoyable story.

Tate is a police officer who is married and living the Dream. Until his wife was murdered and he vowed revenge.
Aubrey is a baker. She owns a shop where she sells her baked goods.
One day Tate comes to town on a lead. Someone may know something about his wife’s murder. Instead he finds Aubrey and his life will never be the same.
A super sweet romance. Definitely recommend this to anyone who likes HEA. I was definitely invested in these characters and wanted them to hurry up with it. But overall a great book.

Aubrey runs a bakery. Tate is in town looking for answers to who murdered his wife. Tate is in the right place at the right time to save Aubrey from being assaulted. Tate was going to just stay in town for the day but something about Aubrey pulls him in. They had great chemistry but Aubrey goes back to her ex . A what a mess he is! Will Tate and Aubrey get to be together? Will Tate get the answers he needs to move on from his wife's death?
A great read from a new to me author.

This is a sneaky author who will capture you with her words and characters. You go in not really knowing what to expect but wanting something good. You meet Aubrey who is the center of it all with what she does and what sneaks up. Then there is Tate whom will also intertwine with the center and you are lost in it. These two will take you on quite the journey with emotional strings that will bind you up with even danger in the mix.

Aubrey owns & runs a bakery in a small beach town. Tate comes to this small town to look for answers about his murdered wife. Tate stops into Aubrey’s bakery & there is instant chemistry. Unfortunately, Tate does not plan on sticking around & Aubrey gets back with her ex boyfriend. Some events occur & Tate decides to stay for a little bit, also to keep an eye on Aubrey.
This book was a good read with some suspense.

I am kicking myself for taking so long to read this. This was a very well done "second chance at love" story. Tate pulls at your heartstrings and I adored Aubrey. "Derailed" was a full emotional rollercoaster ride that I didn't want to get off. This was my introduction to Renee Lee Fisher, and I see myself reading more of her books in the future!

I enjoyed the suspense aspect of the story. It was the exciting part of the book. The romance was a bit slow for me. I thought some parts were too descriptive and dragged on. I didn't really connect with the characters. It took me awhile to try and finish this book. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the overall story.

This story grabbed hold of me and would not let go! I loved Aubrey and Tate's story for the instant connection they had for each other. They fell in love with each other long before they were intimate. They both had issues to work through, helped each other. It totally worked for me.
