Emma Allred is usually polite and well-mannered, but when the rudest customer she's ever met walks into her diner, she can't help but lose her temper. A heated encounter turns into her worst nightmare when she finds out the jerk who she's thrown coffee on is none other than billionaire CEO, Dante Caito.
Hot, sexy and demanding, Dante gets whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and he's not about to let little Emma get away without a lesson. Even if it means purchasing the diner so that she loses her job or buying out her apartment complex to demolish her home. He'll stop at nothing to get her revenge–simply because he can.
But Emma isn't about to back down without a fight. Just because Dante is worth billions, doesn't mean that he can ruin her life. Dante just might have met his match. There's something about Emma's fiery nature that draws him in... He finds himself determined to have his way with Emma, inside and outside of the bedroom.
And he will. Because when he wants something, he gets it.
Now, After Emma received the shocker of a lifetime, Dante must earn back Emma's trust and show her that he's really the man that she thought he could be.
I barely got through this one. The characters began to annoy me. The story began to make no sense. I did not feel that there was real closer. The ending felt rushed. In this book the connection between the characters felt forced an all over the place. The author had a story, but the execution of it was poor.
Cortitos y bonitos cada uno de los tres libros. Con una trama bien desarrollada. Aunque me habria gustado un pequeño enfrentamiento con Rainy, después de todo, estuvo trabajando para Dante por un tiempo.
This was an amazing book of emotional highs and lows, hot and cold and shared hurt. Dante Caito and Emma Allred started out with an altercation when Dante made himself into the biggest jerk to her. She tossed coffee into his face and it was game on. That was the beginning of He Wants It, He Gets It (book 1) and the action continues through this book, #3 I the trilogy. They both have feelings for the other but are carrying so much baggage from their pasts that it's hard to get around it. Dante is a millionaire who can change people's lives overnight. He has threatened to sell the apartment building Emma lives in just to get back at her for "standing up to him!" They spar both physically and verbally and you can feel the heat. They encounter and deal with so much trouble along the line as they love, too. I think Kira Ward did a wonderful job of making the reader feel right there along with the characters! I loved Emma's sister, Sophie, who added angst and a path for Emma and Dante to get back together. I love this trilogy and highly recommend it! This was my first book by Kira Ward and I'll be keeping my eyes open for more.
Great end to an awesome series. I really like how this story concluded. If I had to criticise, I would say I would have like to read more about this couple.
Story. Loved the ending and the power of this billionaire. Hot and powerful are the ultimate combination. The sister adds a great part to it. Really enjoyed this read.
