This has been such a fun series! Sadly, I guess this is the last one! While it was my least favorite of the three, it was a still a solid 4 star read for me.
All of these are really just moment-in-time reads! With one common theme..
Loved the whole new roommates having some fun with a little pink something that shall remain nameless!
If you're a fan of the first two books in this series, then I definitely recommend this one!

The steam didn't come until the end, but I loved the slow buildup.
Half-star off for the rather abrupt ending. I wanted more of Aaron and Rob (and dildos!) in action.

What do you need to know about this book? Let's summarise:
University guys
Huge pink dildo
Fun times (including first time toy play...)
.....actually, nope that's all you really need to know. I suppose I could tell you that it's a thoroughly enjoyable read, written in Annabelle Jacobs wittily romantic way. Or that, even though it's <10k it is still a proper story and not just PWP. Or that it's one of the sexy secrets quartet. But, truly, you don't need to know that stuff. Points 1-3 cover it quite enough.

***3.5 Roommate Fun Stars***
This was a fun and quick read that I really enjoyed. It had a great balance of sweet and steamy. I liked that it was a slow buildup to the steam (ok, well as slow as you can go in under 40 pages).
And thank you Rob for being the giver that you are!
I just wish there was a bit more to the ending, but overall an enjoyable read and a really great series! I'm sad it's over.

So, it's time for story number three in BFP's: The Secrets Collection and up to now there's been a very hot stereotype busting, flip-fuck session, some deliciously kinky 'mantie' action, and now Annabelle Jacob's sexy secret has arrived in the shape of a BIG pink toy! And no...it's not a cuddly talking Pink Panther, but it does come from a range of smutty playthings that sometimes do need a battery! LOL...
For his second year at Uni, slightly shy Aaron (who is a sweetie) has decided to take the plunge and house share with three strangers---Paul, Harry and Rob---something he's never done before. He's a wee bit nervous about telling the new guys that he's gay but as the advert he answered stated "Any gender/sexual orientation/political view welcome, just no pets"; isn't too worried about outing himself when the time is right. However, that snippet of info gets put on the back burner the moment a very straight Paul unpacks one of his boxes to reveal a lurid pink, as stated on the packaging, "Lifelike 7.5 inch Dildo"! Put in there as a prank by his bezzie mate Rob, the last of his new house mates who hasn't actually arrived yet, the 'GULP!' moment has Aaron deciding to keep the news to himself a bit longer, until he gets to know them a bit better.
Then Rob, the dildo hiding joker arrives on the scene. All gorgeous and openly gay he flusters an already nervous Aaron even more, and distracted by the sex on legs hottie, the "Okay NOW’S the time to admit I'm gay too" moment passes yet again!
But while Paul and Harry remain clueless, Rob's gaydar is working just fine, and after a nicely placed touch of sexual tension builds up between the two of them; what follows later, when Rob inadvertently discovers his extremely cute but reticent, more innocent roommate has secretly kept...and hidden...the pretend pink peen in his sock and undies drawer..........Well—*cough*— I'll let you discover THAT pervtastic nugget of naughtiness for yourself!
But rest assured my fellow 'Smutkateers'; like its two highly enjoyable predecessors, Toy with Me is another entertaining, raunchy little offering that will definitely satisfy on that count, while at the same time, still fitting the bill very nicely for those who like their steamy heat served up with a side order of sweet romance too.
Written by authentic, well loved authors who know how to incorporate a shot of soft-core kink into an actual story and make it super sexy without just being porn for porn’s sake—that's what makes these short stories so enjoyable. Perfect for when you just want to slip something hot but delightfully uncomplicated, between the more intense reads. I like them...they're fun!

Okay, so this one was over before it began. It was sexy, and I enjoyed the sexual tension, but I wanted more. One more chapter would have satisfied me. More dildo play would have been nice, and more importantly, Rob getting fucked it return.

I really enjoyed this novella. This was the perfect combination of roommates coming together. The writing was great, and the cast of characters were enjoyable as well. It was funny,charming, and a very sweet read. I really enjoyed Rob & Aaron. I would love for a continuation of their story.
I liked Aaron's vulnerability, and Rob had this protective streak a mile when it came to Aaron. The TENSION between the two was palpable. You can feel the angst on the page. It was so worth it. When they finally got together it was so HOT. I really liked this. It was a good introduction for me to this author's style. I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

Aaron è un giovane studente universitario che, dopo un anno passato nei dormitori, decide di volere maggiore libertà e così trova alloggio in un appartamento con altri tre ragazzi.
È nervoso all’idea di conoscerli, soprattutto perché ha paura che non accettino il fatto che sia gay; tuttavia ha deciso di essere sincero e, quando uno dei suoi coinquilini, Rob, fa coming out con lui chiedendogli se è un problema, Aaron è terribilmente sollevato, ma non riesce comunque a tirare fuori le parole e finisce col non dire niente.
Per fortuna Rob non è uno sciocco e lo capisce in fretta da solo, dando vita a una novella sexy e dolce, che in una cinquantina di pagine ci racconta lo scoprire della sessualità di due giovani ragazzi.
Rob è più esperto e aperto all’uso dei sex toy. Aaron è meno pratico, ma come dire di no a Rob quando gli propone qualcosa?

Each week as I read a new installment of the Secrets Collection, I think it can't possibly get better. This week Annabelle Jacobs keeps things light and fun as she delivers a smart, sexy read. By light and fun I mean no deep, complicated romance or angst issues. There's definitely some sexual tension, but don't worry, it's the good kind. :)
As Aaron's settling into the new house he's sharing at university, everything seems great. He's found a house with three guys he's never met, but they're advertising a place he can really be himself without fear of judgment over his sexuality, something he hasn't had before now. I think he's looking forward to being out and honest about being gay until a prank between two of his roommates leaves him in an awkward position and with an opportunity to try something new.
I really like the overall theme of sexual exploration in this story, and Jacobs does a great job of keeping it real. Since Aaron doesn't have tons of experience, he doesn't jump into anything too hardcore. This doesn't detract from his kinky nature though, and I have the feeling this story just scratches the surface of what's in his future. Aaron's curiosity is endearing, and once Rob offers to help him experiment, his excitement is infectious. These two guys together have some definite chemistry, and the results are pretty steamy.
If you're looking for a fun, sexy read without the huge time commitment, I definitely recommend this and all the stories in The Secrets Collection. They're a terrific way to experience some quality writing without too many strings attached. You'll simply find great characters coming together for some good, sexy fun. What more can you ask for?

I love university stories where a group of hot guys share a house together and there's a chance for them to experiment with their sexuality and broaden their experiences. Annabelle's sweet story has romance, humor and just a little angst as Aaron builds up the courage to come out and try something new to him. Although it's a short story, I felt the connection between Rob and Aaron from the start. It stands alone as a short story, but it could easily have been a prelude to a novel which followed the boys' journey while they attended university. In fact, I would love to hear more of their sexual and relationship adventures in the future.

Insomma, se volete staccare la spina dai drammoni e dagli amori strazianti, ecco l’occasione per “spiare” dentro un alloggio per studenti di college, dove due dei quattro ragazzoni imparano a conoscersi e a desiderarsi. Rob e Aaron. Sguardi, tentativi di approccio e la giusta conclusione per un amore giovane e ancora in evoluzione.
Mi piace quando i racconti riescono comunque a offrire un inizio, uno sviluppo coerente e un finale amabile come in questo caso.
Certo, non c'è la storia della vita, ma una delicata introduzione all'amore sì.

Seconda storia di questa raccolta estiva hot.
Anche questo è un racconto breve, che si legge davvero in fretta, ma piacevolissimo, con la giusta dose di sensualità, ma anche di tenerezza, se vogliamo.
I due protagonisti sono adorabili – giovani, intraprendenti, eppure anche timidi e insicuri... sono riusciti a conquistarmi, stampandomi un bel sorrisone in faccia!

Sexy and sweet: A romantic story about coming out and sexual exploration. Aaron returns to college but decides to live off campus. Though the advertisement says sexual preference is not an issue, Aaron is still nervous about telling his housemates he is gay. Before he can make the announcement, a sex toy is found in the bags of one of the guys. Though the sex toy is a prank, one if the housemates, Rob, announces he is gay. Aaron want’s to tell the guys he’s gay too, but holds back. Before he gets a chance to come out to his new housemates, Rob guesses that Aaron is gay. As the story progresses, the two men come together for some romantic and sweet sexual exploration.
I really enjoyed this story. Aaron’s character appeared very real. He was out, but still had difficulty coming out to his new friends. Though he is timid about his sexual desires, he discovers he is open to experimenting with new things. The sex in this story is very erotic and appealing. Though I would love to see more of this couple, I was satisfied and happy with the ending. I recommend Toy with Me to anyone who loves sweet, honest, and sexually open romance.

If you are in the mood for something short and light, finish it within thirty minutes, then Toy With Me is a good choice. Annabelle Jacobs brings her talent for writing romances with well developed characters and plots into the short story reads. This is something not everyone can succeed in, most times missing out on key elements so to rush to finish.
We have this story of how Aaron moves in with three other guys into a rented home just a walk away from college. He is determined to reveal his sexual preferences but because he is not familiar with any of the three, he holds on. It was not until a certain toy got dropped into his hand that his life got a little bit interesting.
In comes Rob, one of the three housemates, who takes one look at Aaron and guesses he is as gay as he is. What he needs to do is to make sure Aaron is more comfortable with all of them before he makes his moves. Especially as a little toy seems to be distracting the both of them.
This is short and best read alone. hehehhehehee

This is a very short story (63 pages on iPad) that tells the tale of Aaron, a second year student at uni, who has just moved in with some new housemates. Aaron is gay but hasn’t really told many people yet and he wants this year to be the year he can be himself. When one of the first things that happens is one of the roomies pulls out a giant pink dildo from his moving box, well, things are looking weird. Turns out Paul isn’t gay but the prankster who put the dildo in there, Rob, is, and he thinks its funny.
When Paul gives Aaron the dildo to throw out, you know what happens. To the garbage it does not go. Even though Aaron doesn’t tell the guys he’s gay, Rob figures it out nearly immediately. And Rob, bless his heart, has some concerned, mentor type conversations with Aaron. “…liberating, if cringe-worthy at times…”

Turns out Paul isn’t gay but the prankster who put the dildo in there, Rob, is, and he thinks its funny.
When Paul gives Aaron the dildo to throw out, you know what happens. To the garbage it does not go. Even though Aaron doesn’t tell the guys he’s gay, Rob figures it out nearly immediately. This is the third book in the Secret Collection, and I must say that these short stories are just jewels.
This time, the two characters are very young boys, struggling with their first sexual experiences.
Aaron is a sophomore in college, and instead of living in the dormitory on campus, he decides to share an apartment with three other roommates: Rob, Paul, and Harry.
Rob comes out to them about being gay, but Aaron does not come out immediately, because he’s a bit shy and inexperienced, until one evening when Aaron, in a room with Rob, and thanks a dildo, gets the courage to explore his sexuality and it is smoking hot.
The scene very erotic, but told with great delicacy.
It is a very tender story. So far, I have read the paranormal series by Annabelle Jacobs, but I must say that even in contemporary romance, I was not disappointed, even though I really want to read a whole book about this two young boys.

Toy With Me is the third book in The Secrets Collection and Annabelle Jacobs’ main characters are students Rob and Aaron – and a large pink dildo!
Annabelle Jacobs does a wonderful job of profiling her characters so that we feel we know them and even understand their individual quirks, including Aaron’s reticence to blurt out his sexuality. Toy With Me is no love at first sight story by Annabelle Jacobs hints at a mutual attraction between the two housemates, which only increases our anticipation.
Rob and Aaron are adorable characters and both are great fun! Toy With Me might be short, but it is still sexy and a great read!
