This one is a travelogue from the author, though I have read other tamil travelogues on pilgrimage places, I liked this one better since it covered the details underlying Sadhuragiri's mythology and its bio diversity.
Example it explains the story of a why a cave is named so and so and the event behind it. Along with that it includes some of the medicinal values of the herbs that can be found in the region along with the reasoning behind benevolence activities like Anathanam and covering the bio diversity of the floras and faunas that Sadhuragiri offers.
Overall a good read and gives a little more touch then a travelogue...
