This is an excellent reference book to get the creative juices flowing. The author is excited about her subject and I found this contagious.

If you've never done art, if you never use art for therapy and self growth, if you've never done spiritual art, I guess this book would have some use for you.

If you're already an artist in touch with her/his inner self, then I suggest you stick with that. This is too simple. I did a few exercises which were fun as a lark and somewhat revealing, but I hate that you are supposed to do them in order. Books with so many rules about art annoy me anyway. A lot of these remind me of art projects I did as a kid, but maybe that is the point?
