The exotic dancers and employees of the Queen of Clubs walk a fine line, with only wits, beauty, and market savvy to keep them from toppling into the shark pit. Ride shotgun through lapdances, romance, and sexual awakenings. Don't worry, these girls won't ask what your hands are doing under the tip rail.

Still reeling from the loss of a sugarbaby relationship turned poisonous, Candy's had her fill of men. But when a regular refuses to take the hint to leave her alone, she'll need to enlist help from a stranger. Rafe is willing to pretend to be her boyfriend to help her, but when he learns more about exactly who he's helping, will he want it to be more than just pretend?

Dare You is a standalone novella containing explicit content.

Katie de Long writes steamy and dark New York Times and USA Today bestselling romances. She publishes paranormal romance as K. de Long, flirty, daring contemporaries as Lila Vega, and dark, sensuous romantic thrillers and dark romance as Tiger Tarantino. Her books blend the bloody punch-to-the-gut spectacle and wit of a David Fincher movie with kink, chemistry, and edgy, angsty romance.
Katie lives in the Pacific northwest, realizing her dream of being a crazy cat-lady. As a kid, she flagged the fade-to-blacks in every adult book she encountered, and when she began writing, she vowed to use cutaways sparingly. After all, that’s when the good stuff happens. And on a kindle, no one asks why there’s so many bookmarks in her library.

I am a huge fan of the Queen of Clubs series and I enjoyed this story of Candy and Rafe. It was nice to see characters from past stories as Candy and Rafe's budding relationship went through some ups and downs. As always, the dancer's point of view is so different than what society thinks and it is refreshing to see that these are powerful, smart women!
