What a romance! I love a story where the man falls first. Jax was taken with Sloane from the first time he saw her. The man with the reputation, she had no interest or any time to even entertain the thought. She has way too much responsibility, between work, school and taking care of her three siblings, she has no time for a personal life. Until her friends set it up. A birthday party in Vegas that leads to what can't stay in Vegas. Jax and Sloane are married. He is thrilled, she is horrified, but he gives her a plan she can't refuse. Move in with him, save her rent and have a stable household for her future house visit to make sure she is the one that should be guardian of the kids. He is truly taken with her and her siblings, from the teenage twins to the 5 year old, enjoying the craziness only family can bring to a home. She too is enjoying it, but she knows there is an end date. She can't rely on him, he won't stay. Where does this all lead? Jax is an amazing character, the book boyfriend that is easy to understand and love. Sloane has some issues that she needs to work on, but her heart is in the right place, and she has an amazing mentor. The kids add so much to this, and Jax's mom is the one person that is full of sage life advice. Give this one a listen, it will warm your heart.

Vanessa Edwin and Christian Fox are so good together, they are a treat for the ears. Edwin as Sloane delves into her feelings easily relating her hesitancy and her gratitude and passion. Fox is Jax, falling fast, being lovable and even a little insecure. These two created relatable voices, and easily fell from adult to kids, and made this a listen that made my ears happy!

When a spontaneous Vegas wedding turns their lives upside down, Jax proves he’s all in, not only for Sloane but also for her three younger siblings. I loved how supportive, patient and caring he was, helping ease the weight of the world off Sloane’s shoulders. Their opposites attract dynamic was very enjoyable, Jax being a true cinnamon roll MMC and Sloane being so independent. The added stories about Jax’s Mum and found-family made this even more special.

This was an absolute delight to listen to! Vanessa Edwin and Christian Fox are amazing together, delivering performances that brought Jax and Sloane’s story to life. Vanessa Edwin perfectly captures Sloane’s independence and growing feelings for Jax, and Christian Fox does a wonderful job conveying Jax’s utterly lovable character and his golden retriever energy. Their voices complement each other beautifully, and their effortless transitions between different characters make this such an engaging listen.

An exceptional audiobook that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to. I savored every bit of this. I really, really liked the storyline. There were quite a few moments that had me laughing because of the banter and the situation. One of my favorite things was the Vegas component. You know when this is involved in a book shenanigans are surely to ensue and they did. I just loved how that was written into the overall narrative and how it played out for the main characters. And of course the narration was amazing. Vanessa Edwin and Christian Fox deliver a stellar performance. They brought the characters and story to life. I liked how they were able to flawlessly flip between different voices for the characters. I loved listening to these two narrators because their voices just work so well together and compliment one another. They make this an easy, fun, and entertaining listen. Sloane and Jax's story is a must listen. This is one of those kind of books that I would go back and re-listen to because it was that good in my opinion. A huge thanks to Valentine PR and the author for a copy of this. All opinions are my own and freely given.

This one had me laughing, swooning, and crying. The spice 🌶️ was a great garnish to an already amazing story.

Sloan & Jax are the most inevitable pairing ever. I love that he just pestered her in a fun way until she finally gave him a chance. And when she did, he didn’t take advantage at all. He let her be in the drivers seat all the way.

The way the whole family came together was so beautiful. I loved every second. It had me ignoring my family all day so I could keep listening.

The bonus epilogue is perfect!

Vanessa Edwin and Christian fox did an absolutely wonderful job on this one!

It’s over! It’s come to an end! What a way to complete this amazing series!
Sloane has never depended on anyone! Becoming the guardian to her siblings was never something expected to have to do! But she did it and did it alone. Juggling work, college and raising three kids was her life! Exhausted and broke but making it work! So when Jax steps in the picture she shuts that down! She doesn’t have time for that non sense! Jax has women falling at his knees, but that’s not what he wants! He wants her!
This one!! Loved! I’m so sad it’s over! And that BONUS epilogue! Yes maam!!! I recommend this entire series!!!
