Series: Jing, King of Bandits #2 Rating: 4 stars - It was really good
This was another fun collection of Jing’s adventures stealing treasures. I really like how this series has pop culture themed characters, like Captain who’s basically Hook and his enemy is the Clockodile or how the Porvora are basically an exploding version of Gremlins. This is just a fun and whimsical series and I am really loving it.
To be honest with you, I didn’t see much in the way of actual plot in this volume. It seems to be a couple of disconnected cases, where the reader just follows Jing and Kir from plan to plan. Ultimately, not terrible but not terribly exciting either.
Fun , but disjointed. Hard to follow the story, if there is one, and there isn't a lot of character development yet. But the art is nice and detailed. Has a Nightmare Before Christmas or Soul Eater feel to it.
After finishing this all I can say is I didn't really connect with it at all. Again, the artwork was decent but I hate the characters. It is still jut following Jing, The King of the Bandits and his little bird.. gun thing.
this book was amazing it had alot of action and some jokes hidden in it and they add parts into it the first part is continuing from the first book and the second part was with a thing call a porvora in all the book is te best thing ever.
