*** This short story, "White Hot" romance is hopeful, action packed, and full of super hot sex. *** Rancher Taren, has burn scars and a damaged knee from the accident that took his partner's life. Keith is vacationing to hike and climb in the area, when his tipsy, stupid friend teases Taren's looks and gait. Keith sticks up for Taren and is getting a ride from him, where they end up in what each man thought was a one-night-stand.

When dawn arrives, Keith wants more, Taren wants more, too, but is afraid to ask for more, and leaves before Keith wakes. He sends his brother to take Keith back to his motel. As Keith later makes his way to Seth's cabin to talk things out, a huge storm hits, with lightening, thunder, and pelting rain. Wham !! Keith's truck ends up smashed by a tree falling. Struggling, to find shelter, wet, cold, concussed, he finds the cabin. Taren soon finds Keith and takes him to the big ranch house. Soon they are taking care of each other. Emotions are raw, needs and wants are voiced, acceptance and understanding are found. This is a fast (1 + 1/2 hr.) read, fun, exciting, and sexy.

I don't know if this book is a romance novel or just an erotic story because I can't feel the romance between the 2 MCs and their relationship happened in lightning speed.

Never judge a book by its cover. ....Taren, went through so much loss, in walks this bouncy crazy guy, and Taren let his heart open up once again. Keith, sweet, caring, loving, and man enough to see past the outside and only focus on the inside. This was a beautiful story. Sexy as sin as well!!!!
