"The Killer Inside" is the 6th book in the bestselling, John Harding Series
John Harding and his Monster Squad, after a bloody interlude defending their newly formed Oaktown Cartel, get word of a kidnapped Navy Seal. The violent kidnapping intervention leads to at sea combat preventing the nuclear devastation of the Northwestern seaboard, complete with helicopter kill missions against Isis compounds.

Already signed to fight as a fill in at the Mandalay Bay Arena against new UFC phenomenon, The Berserker, Harding discovers a New York Russian mobster plans to target his family. The Dark Lord reaches inward for the killer inside to survive with no mercy asked and none given.

"Jack Reacher fans, say hello to John Harding, in a series you won't put down: He grew up mean, running away from his alcoholic father at the age of 14. With a little help in the form of a new identity, the runaway becomes John Harding. While in special ops overseas, he's recruited by CIA agent Denny Strobert, who sees something besides a knack for languages and combat skills: he knows he's found a killer."

a very guilty pleasure. these books would make great movies. implausible but exciting and action packed. even the monsters are interesting and humanly flawed. never make John Harding angry at you. Ultra right wing viewpoints. Re-read in july, 2017. Re-read again nun e 2019. Re-read in may, 2020 during covid pandemic.

Good

This story had a lot of good action with the crew taking care of gangs, Russian mobsters, huge threats against America. My one negative is that this crew of killers, let Lynne get away with being a complete b@#ch and acted like little kids staying out of her way. It was getting really hard to read . But things did get better.

Instinct

This was good, it just ended too soon. I liked the excitement though. John and his crew are awesome. Team work and our country is what it's all about. I like it! Can't wait to read the next one.

Hard case vi

Same cast of characters and challenges with the same results. The fantasy desire to go after bad guys without remorse or holds barred make for a readable story each time.

More action.

There was plenty of action and more to come, I am sure. Looking forward to the next action thriller of Hard Case.

Harding just keeps getting better

Hard Case VI is an exciting rollercoaster of a ride. I have enjoyed all six books, but this may be the best one yet.

Harding and his Monster crew stay busy with bank robbers, a serial killer, assassins, mobsters, snipers, and ISIS training camps among other things, including preventing a MAJOR disaster. And John has to work in time to train for another UFC fight.

Bernard Lee DeLeo is becoming one of my favorite authors. He's clever and funny and tells a mighty fine story.

Great series: wish it were longer

I enjoyed every bit of this series and do wish there were more books to read. As a retired Marine I particularly identified with Harding and Lucas. Non-stop action and well-developed characters in the aptly named monster club. Enthusiastically recommend.
