I fucking hate you sometimes.

As soon as the words left my lips, I knew they'd haunt me for the rest of my life. I just didn't know how short that'd be.

You know when you're standing at the altar, anxiously saying your vows, but not really hearing them? You're too focused on the beautiful angel in white agreeing to love you for life. You repeat the phrase till death do us part without hesitation. In hindsight, those are some pretty morbid words for such a joyous occasion. You never actually think those words will one day come true. At least not any time soon.

But for me? That's exactly what happened.
