The minute any woman walks into my bar, I can tell two things about her: what she wants to drink, and how she likes to f*ck.

I’m Cash: bartender at the hottest bar in Atlanta. I’ve got girls lining up around the block, and they all know the rules: no strings, no promises, and no morning-after snuggling. You want brunch? Call your sister. You want the best sex of your life? Call me. Or better yet, just drop by the bar anytime. Clothing optional.

There’s a reason they call me a sexy bastard.
And yes, I really am that good.

You know, Savy, if you ever need to relieve that stress, all you have to do is ask. I promise by the time I'm done with you, you'll come so hard you'll be grateful for asking.

Well, well, well, Miss Jagger, where HAVE you been all my pervy life? Because let me tell you, I like the way you do alphas. You give good manwhore. Good manwhore, indeed. And the best part? It's not just smutty fluff, you actually weave a great story in. So you've got yourself a new fan in this pervert reader. This was my first book by Eve Jagger and I. Am. Sold.
Your manwhore tactics should not be pointed in my direction?"
"Savy, if I ever try my tactics on you, you'll beg for it and say please and that you when it's done."

Cash is part owner of a successful bar chain along with the rest of the "Sexy bastards." He's bartender extraordinaire and unrepentant manwhore.

Women flock to him without him barely having to crook a finger but there's a particular blonde beauty that's very much hands off for him that seems to spark his interest as of late.

Savannah is a successful entertainment attorney well on her way to making partner in her firm. But as for her love life? Well, if the string of horrible first dates is anything to go by, it leaves something to be desired. And a certain charming manwhore keeps tempting her to sin a little with him. But Savannah isn't looking for a one night stand and that's all Cash has to offer. Too bad the chemistry between them is so wild it makes it impossible to resist.

If you haven't read the first book, I'm proof that you'd still enjoy this as a standalone. However, it is clear that I missed out on some backstory to the rest of the guys, but the author does a fantastic job with details so I never felt lost. I love a sassy heroine and Savannah was no wilting wallflower. The woman gives as good as she gets.

If you follow my reviews then you already know I have a weak spot for the manwhores, and Cash certainly fit my criteria to a T. But this wasn't some shallow story either. It had endearing characters, fantastic character development, and a fun and sexy story to boot. I loved it from beginning to finish. The banter between Savy and Cash was practically crackling with sexual chemistry and when these two finally get together?

Oh yeah. The sparks fly.

There's certainly a whole lot more to Cash than first meets the eye and that actually endeared me to him all the more. I loved that this wasn't just a shallow manwhore. He had depth to him...and he plundered depths even better. Uhem. I'm happy to report that this was one of the rare cases where the story managed to not only meet but exceed the promise of the hot cover. Eve Jagger has a new fan in me and I can't wait for more.
With Cash, I'm learning never be sure of the ground you stand on. Just know he's there to catch you when you fall.

CASH marks the second story in the Sexy Bastard series, each books is penned as a STANDALONE story but happily features the previous characters in the supporting cast. As the title of the series suggests, CASH IS ONE SEXY GUY but there's more to him and I enjoyed uncovering his history, a history that's laced throughout the prose and emerges as the story progresses. The reader is generally a little more informed, than the female protagonist, about our hero who plays a role in the angst element of the story, along with the hurtful past of Savannah. She matches if not equals the pain he's experienced, supporting the case that they may be the perfect match for each other.

Cash is arrogant but along with his arrogance I felt his charm and caring nature which provides an endearing quality. I equally warmed to the heroine and admired her strength and resilience. They have hurdles to face, truths to uncover and confront and this story takes the reader with them on their journey of development..... The question is will the development lead to their happiness?

Eve Jagger undoubtedly provides the reader with a passionate, delicious story that raises our pulse rate and turns up the temperature. It's EROTIC and highly sexy with an endearing couple who have the task of exploring their attraction to each other and discovering if it will ever be anything deeper than purely physical. Cash has all the ingredients I enjoy in erotic romance. It's entertaining and fun, and erotically delicious in all the right places.

Another explosive book from Eve Jagger. This book had everything a readers have come to expect from the Sexy Bastard series. Eve delivered a story that captured her now trademark sinfully delicious and hot male, sassy and strong female, explosive chemistry, hot and steamy scenes and strong storyline.

Cash is a bartender and part business owner of one of the hottest clubs around. During this time he has built a reputation as a bit of a manwhore. He has no desire to settle down and wants to have as much fun as he can.

Savannah is one focused and driven entertainment lawyer. Since her best friends return from overseas, she has noticed a shift in her priorities. She is open to considering a relationship if she can just find The One. Her search leads her on one disastrous date after another.

Both have secrets that they don't want to share with their friends. But what happens when the past comes crash tackling into your present? It might surprise you who you can lean on to be there. Even more surprising, how they might not be who you judged them to be all along.

Geez, I loved Cash in this book. I thought that I had a firm grasp on who he was from Hard, but I was blown away by the depth of his character throughout this book. Of course there was an abundance of his trademark flirting and self confidence, yet there was a whole other side that quite frankly made him way more interesting that I believed he would be. His cockiness was just the right side of obnoxious that drew me to him.

Savannah on the other hand, shocked the beejezzus out of me. Never did I imagine the story that unfolded around her. I adore that we got to experience her vulnerability under that take charge, no bullshit exterior that she projects. When she let her guard down and fully accepted what was happening, I could not help but fall in love with her a bit more.

What I love about Eve's writing style is her strong integration of all the secondary characters into the story. She is effective is using them to build both what is going on in the book, as well as piquing your interest to want to read their story. Shelby and her group of friends really boost certain parts of this book.

And man can Eve pen a hot scene. She built the anticipation and tension between the two until it was almost a tangible and living energy between the two. So when they eventually came together it was explosive.

I know I love a book when I never feel that there is a dull moment. Cash hooked me from the first pages and didn't release me until I knew how it was going to work out. The storyline was well written and flowed easily and effortlessly - never forced. Eve takes you on a journey with real emotion and captures you so that you can't help but FEEL.

I recommend this book to anyone that loves cocky, irresistible men, sexy times, a great storyline and writing. This is an exciting series that keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to read more from her.

I truly enjoyed “Cash” by Eve Jagger but I need to say that it wasn’t what I was expecting at all! This little book right here illustrates perfectly how a cover can be misleading. In this case, I’ve bargained so much more than what I thought I had signed up for!

I was expecting quick steamy smut.
What?
You saw that cover, right? You’ve read the blurb too?
Then you know exactly what I’m talking about.
What I really had was a really nice contemporary romance with smoking hot action in the bedroom. Level of steam : high.

Cash is the attraction of one of the best bars in Atlanta and he knows it. Women are literally throwing themselves at him, hoping to spend the night in his talented bartender—sorry, “Mixologist” hands. And if the rumors are true the man should also have a very talented tongue.
I’ll be forced to intervene on your pussy’s behalf.

He’s also part owner of several others bars in Atlanta with a few of his friends and a damn successful business man.

Savannah is a successful and driven lawyer, she lives for the job and is on her way to make partner at her firm. Unfortunately her skills and prowess at the bar are not translating in her personal life. Her love life is almost inexistent and her attempts at dating always solving by epic fails.
You know Savy, if you ever need to relieve that stress, all yo uhave to do is ask. I promise by time I’m done with you, you’ll come so hard you’ll be grateful for asking.

Cash and Savy both have an unrevealed attraction for each other, but Savvy knows all about his manwhore ways and wants more than just a quick fuck. She needs a partner, she wants a real relationship. As easy and tempting the sexy bartender she’s been friend with is, she just can’t give in.

Well, the thing is, I think he is a big talker. I’m not sure his moves can live up to his mouth.

I enjoyed Cash and Savy casual friendship and I loved seeing them trying with all their might to resist each other. This was the perfect friends to lovers, hate to love you mix with a really nice background.

Cash has some minor family drama going on, adding a welcomed depth to his character. I was also surprised to discover an actual good guy, despite his debauched lifestyle (of last) he was really an interesting character.

Damn cash wasn’t lying. His mouth is magic.

Their bantering and bickering really hooked me in, and their evident chemistry made for some smoking hot sex scenes.

Eve Jagger crafted a truly captivating story here, with interesting secondary characters, great chemistry and descriptive sex scenes that more than satisfied my inner perv. I’ve read this book in almost one sitting and will definitely looking forward to read the next book in this series. Hoping to read more about the mysterious Knox…

This is fun. This is sexy. This is flirty. The Sexy Bastards are alive and well in Atlanta and having all sorts of fun. But the sexy bartender has met his match with the sexy lawyer.......what starts out as fun will it turn into something more?

Cash and Savannah are friends first, friends who flirt and find each other sexy. They have a quick and sassy banter with one another. There is definitely a sizzle between them but can they just jump into a fun and sex relationship with no promise of tomorrow? Can their friendship survive a friend with benefit fling? Their attraction and easiness towards one another certainly ignite the flames between them and makes for a hot and steamy read.

Cash, the free loving bartender/club owner has always had a way with the ladies. He's sexy and gorgeous!! Savannah is an entertainment lawyer who happens to be smart and gorgeous and sexy. But both of these have some baggage. Can they learn to trust one another and make this relationship happen or will they just keep things as sexy fun- no strings?

Besides being Cash's story, the rest of the sexy bastards are present as well. I love that they are intertwined and consider each other as family. They are a fun group and I am looking forward to getting better aquatinted with the next sexy bastard, Knox. What lucky girl has caught his eye only to make him not come around? I have my theories and can't wait to see if they are correct!!

Cash hails as the second installment to Eve Jagger's Sexy Bastard series. Set in the Sexy Bastards trendy, upscale nightclubs of Atlanta, Georgia - Cash Gardner takes tending bar to a whole new levels of sexy and intriguing. Cash tells his story through the points of view of both him and Savannah Sunday- our fiesty, ball-busting, honest heroine.

What I love about Eve Jagger's characters in Cash is the banter between Cash and Savy. They are friends first. Savannah being off limits to Cash - deemed by their mutual friends - puts an edge to their story I found interesting. It shows the gentleman side of Cash in a way we feel for him and his plight. Conversely, it shows an honest side of Savannah in her comfort level with Cash that we might not have seen without that preconceived friendship. Not to mention, when Cash puts his mind to passion it heats up the pages.

The plot of Cash and Savy's love story rolled into the ongoing arc of the Sexy Bastards fit well. This story went a bit fast-paced for my reading preferences and there were a couple plot tropes included in which I wish had more development. The history of both these characters could have been deeper for me to make feel more of the honest connection between Cash and Savannah.

Overall, Eve Jagger entertains me with her characters and Cash is not exception. The banter in which they all engage in constantly leaves me smiling and I enjoy reading a continual series where each new installment gives me two new main characters to focus on while staying in touch with characters from previous books. If you like contemporary romance with a lot of heat and sexual tension - Cash and Savy's story is for you.

Cash Gardner is a sexy bastard that is sexy with a capital S. Okay, maybe sexy is not a strong enough word to describe this man that will make your heart stop with a kiss and panties unless. Seriously, after a few seconds with this devastatingly sexy bastard, you will need an ice cold shower to cool off.

Cash is the resident man-whore, a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. He's got a secret that he's been keeping for years and sees no reason to share it.

Savannah Sunday is looking for love in all the wrong places, but there is a reason for her wrong choices. Her past is something that she's not ready to talk about.

Savy and Cash have been flirting but their friends have been telling them to not cross that line, it won't end well. But you know how to goes when everyone tells you no, you just need one little taste.

And once that line is crossed, just one taste has our couple can't keeping their hands to themselves. But you know secrets don't stay secret forever. Can our couple overcome the lies and make a future or will they walk away from each other.

This book is the highly anticipated second book from Eve Jagger and it is well worth the wait. It is everything you expect from Eve and then some. This story is provocative for sure, but it also proves that sometimes the best things comes from those chances you take. From start to finish, you get caught up between Cash and Savy, and it's the best place to be. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will burn hot for this couple. If you enjoyed Ryder Cole, then you will love Cash Gardner. Plus Cash knows how to sling a mean drink and leave you thirsty for more.

Eve has another hit on her hands and I highly recommend this Sexy Bastard.

Well, Cash is an upgrade. Funnier, hotter, sexier. More depth too.

Cash is a charming slut, no doubt about it – a mixologist who co-owns five of the hottest bars in Atlanta. Savannah, on the other hand, is a desperate-for-love, dedicated lawyer. Clearly opposite considering Cash is laid back while Savannah is a bit uptight, as well as similar because both had shameful past. But they mesh together because of a very good foundation – friendship.

Though, this is a typical plot for me since I’ve already read manwhore H and distraught h before. Who doesn’t, right? Haha. But what interests me about this book is the way the author instilled a humiliating past for each MC.

Once again, Eve Jagger surprised me with her works. Simplified writing style and plot development, quick-witted banters, loathsome yet adorable manwhore, huge-ass heroine. I consider this a light read, not so much smut but still interesting to read.

What is it with that ending?!?!

Gah, this book was so damn nice! So close to 4 stars! Yet after the ending, I keep thinking of giving it 2.
It was just so cut! I feel like I'm missing a few chapters (maybe I am...? ). But really, there are so many unfinished stories (and main ones !). I really feel cheated out of this book.
But despite that very, very (very!) abrupt ending, it was a good book. It felt real, something I appreciate in romances. And I liked their chemistry and the plot was really nice.
I liked that the main female character wasn't your usually shy, scared, or slutty girl; she was something else, something that the readers can relate to.
All in all, it's a really nice, fast-paced read, but, at the end, prepare for wanting to throw the book out the window and yelling at the author, asking about the ending.

Your honour, I would like to present the case for the defence.

The accused, Cassius Gardner, also known as Cash stands here accused of being a Manwhore. The evidence before us appears to unilaterally agree with the charges against him. Testimony exists from many blondes, brunettes, redheads that support the charges. I urge the jury to over look the statements of the bitter and the jealous.

Here is a man accused. A man wrongly charged. A man, who has secrets that could render the charges against him useless. A man that I urge you to believe. A man who has honour stamped on his forehead (not literally of course because that would be just stupid).

I would like the jury to consider the evidence of Miss Savannah Sunday. Her affidavit suggests this man is capable of love, devotion and absolutely fucking amazing sex. I might add that, I respect whole heartedly the facts presented by this reliable witness.

In an unconventional move for the defence I would like the jury to read the testimony of Messrs Gardner and Cole in the books Hard and Cash.

That my Lord is the case for the defence.

The book is great. Characters are phenomenal. I wanted Micah Truitt to be my Cash but he isn't blonde. What ever, I'm still declaring him my Cash.

Now I want to know the secrets of Knox.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I've been biting at the bit just waiting for the next Sexy Bastard book ever since reading about Ryder in Hard. When I found out this book was about Cash? Major and completely embarrassing happy dancing took place. Cash's man-whoring ways were just begging to be tamed even from the little we got to know him in Hard.

Come to find out, Cash isn't a "hit it and quit it" just for the fun of it. Don't get me wrong, he has plenty of fun, but it's also a way to keep people at a comfortable distance. He has a closet full of family skeletons that he deals with by himself, not even his closest friends who he considers family (the other bar owners) know about them. He's convinced that anyone, male or female, that gets too close to his family will be destroyed...because that's what his family does to people.

Cash has worked the bar watching Savannah meet date after date, and getting to hear how miserable each and every one ends up, for a long time. When he's called in to rescue her from a disastrous run-in with her ex he decides she needs to be made to feel good about herself and get over that a**hole. It'll be a win-win for both of them; she can use him as a way to get over the married cheating jerk, and he can screw her out of his system and then they can go back to being the same friends they always have been.

Things immediately don't work out as he planned. Savannah refuses to be anybody's notch on the bedpost and Cash finds himself feeling things in his heart he never knew were possible. But his secrets could be the one thing that tears them apart. He doesn't trust her with them because he thinks of it as protecting her, but she sees him as just another liar just like her ex was.

I thoroughly enjoyed the watching the infamous Cash brought to heel by the sexy Savannah Sunday. The sex is incredible, and from the sounds of it Savannah is one lucky girl to be able to spend quality time with Cash's physical attributes, if you know what I mean. Getting to know each of them under the facades they always worked so hard to maintain was at times painful but for the most part heart-warming. They're perfect together and their relationship was a roller coaster ride I could experience again and again!

This was a sexy, fun, and entertaining read. After reading Hard I was hooked on the Sexy Bastards and could not wait to get my eyes and hands on Cash. What is not to like? He is a lickable, cocky, bar tender that has more to him than just gorgeous looks, outrageous banter, and drinks that go to your head. Reading about Cash and Savannah's sexual innuendos flying right along with their clothes left me a little frustrated with a light and giddy feeling without consuming a single drop of alcohol.

Having been introduced to this dynamic duo in the first book, I felt like I was visiting some old friends for a drink at the end of a work long day. The only thing better than reading about a hot, sassy, beautiful woman and a devastatingly handsome, smooth talking, drink serving extraordinaire, is getting to know their friends and business partners that are always there to ridicule, console, and help you let your hair down. Savannah aka Savy, had her heart shattered by a charismatic country singer who had secrets bigger than his talent. Left emotionally battered and bruised, Savannah is left with a longing for a great sexual experience with a deeper connection. Seeing Cash at the end of the day to serve her drinks along with sexy propositions is becoming to mean more to her than what it should. Cash has started anticipating his nights of work that often include a certain curly haired blonde bombshell on the other side of the bar. Cash is a man that has a life filled with mixing drinks, club openings, friends, and loose women but everyday his mind is focusing more and more on one feisty woman.

Cash and Savy deliver a heady combination with a punch to the heart as well as to the libido. I loved this story from the first page to the last and cannot wait to hear more about our delectable Sexy Bastards, their friends, and the beautiful women that they give their remarkable bodies and hearts to. I highly recommend to those that are looking for a story filled with lickable abs, hot sex and big hearts.

CASH will wash away the taste of your last book boyfriend. Smartly written yet seriously sexy, Jagger once again has me swooning over another sexy bastard.

Cash is the manwhore mixologist that thinks he knows the game. He’s the master at flirting and filling…the drinks at Altitude’s bar. His carousel of women serves him well: no hard feelings, no attachments, no sharing of feelings required. Until Savy walks into his life and shakes everything up.

I ADORED SAVANNAH. I’m sure it’s biased because, well, she’s a lawyer. But it’s more than that – she’s a sassy, determined, funny and sweet lawyer who is also fucking hot. Shit, even I want to date her. Oh, hello lady crush.

Note: major points for getting the lawerly stuff right. Bless you, Eve.

This book has just enough drama to keep you interested without being overly angsty. Savy and Cash may think they’re keeping things casual, but somehow that never works out to plan, does it?

The family drama was an interesting spin that took me by surprise but made me swoon even harder for Cash. Damn, he’s a good guy and has an eight pack?! Yes, this is heaven. I can’t even begin to discuss what he can do with his tongue because then I’ll go searching for demonstrative gifs on tumblr and this review will never be finished. So just trust me on this one: It’s out-of-control hot.

While the Big Reveal had me questioning my love for Savy a tinge bit, and I found that part a little repetitive, I shall easily forgive her. Her love for her friends, her incessant planning and her desire for more out of life definitely makes her one of my favorites.

CASH is full of moments that will have you fist pumping, shaking your head and reading one-handed. I promise: you want your hands all over this sexy bastard. 4.5 stars!

5 MotherF***ING Stars! Eve has done it again.

Have you ever read a debut novel by an author and thought, there is NO WAY they can do that again… I was wrong, and I am so glad!

Cash has secrets in his family closet. We all do, but he keeps his well hidden under lock and key, behind a barrier, in the back of his mind. He is okay with people thinking he is JUST a bartender. His friends have no clue. That is until his secrets start to show up in his life and knock on his door.

Savannah is a no-nonsense, take the man by the balls entertainment lawyer. She is on the hunt for her next big client to cinch the promotion she has been working so hard for. When she isn’t working she is on a string of horrible dates trying to find something. Cash suggests what she really needs is a good orgasm.

These two work so well together! The banter and fun will have you laughing out loud. Not only do they have great dialogue, they have great chemistry! Forgo underwear at some points in this one or you will just create unnecessary laundry.

I fell in love with this one just as much as HARD, and I can’t wait to see what Eve has up her sleeve for the next book! ~ Devlynn, 5 stars

~~~
Cash Gardner and Savannah Sunday are both running from their pasts. Cash has skeletons in his family closet that have left him riddled with guilt and afraid to get close to anyone. Savannah has a skeleton of her own that has left her unable to trust, and afraid to love. There's a palpable, sparky energy between the two—but they really start out as just friends, and I think that's what makes this story so great.
When Cash and Savannah finally hook up, they don't lose that easy, loose, flirty friendship. In fact, the friendship grows and deepens once their relationship becomes physical. The realization that they're more attached to each other than they initially intended doesn't send either one of them off the rails, which is refreshing in a story about a known playboy and his emotionally wounded counterpart. They're friends, so they handle it with affection and maturity, adult conversation, and lots of steamy hot sex. It is the pasts that they're running from that ultimately brings them off the rails, and it's a hard thing, knowing how deeply they've both been hurt and are hurting. I feel like that whole storyline was handled very eloquently, and it left me with a pile of warm fuzzies in my heart.
These characters are incredibly likeable. Cash is supposed to be a sexy bastard—and we're painted a pretty vivid picture that he lived up to that reputation in the past, but he's good to Savannah. The Cash we meet is sexy, confident, protective, and possessive. He pairs brilliantly with Savannah who is whip-smart, independent, gorgeous, and self-assured (well, most of the time). Savannah will not be clingy and needy, and in turn Cash will be the solid rock providing a safe place for Savannah to land.
I really, really liked this book! I loved these characters, and was fully invested in their stories. Their story was sexy, flirty, and fun while at the same time tender and emotional. I was rooting for them the whole way, and they left me with that pile of warm fuzzies in my heart, at least one pair of soaked panties, and a goofy, satisfied smile. ~ Shelly, 4.5 stars
3.5 Stars
Overall Opinion: This was a cute, sexy, easy read. I enjoyed it, but it might not be the most memorable or on my favorites list. I'm not sure I can pinpoint why exactly, but I still liked it enough...hence the 3.5 stars. I have a prediction for another book in the series...Knox and Shelby (that would explain why Knox is alway MIA because he has belongs for his friend's little sister).
Storyline: This is Savannah and Cash's story. They have been friends for a while through their mutual friends, Cassie and Ryder of the first book in the series, Hard. They have always had flirtation and sexual tension galore, and finally after a long string of bad dates -- Cash convinces Savannah to hook up. The relationship goes from a one time thing to every night, and feelings go from friends to something more. There is some ex and family drama, but the couple work through it all to find their HFN.
POV: This alternated between Savannah and Cash's POV.
Overall Pace of Story: Good. It flowed well. I had no times that I was skimming and no instalove going on.
H rating: 3 stars. Cash. I do wish that he was more upfront with what was going on with him with not only Savannah but his friends as well.
h rating: 4 stars. I loved how strong she was, but she too could've relied on Cassie for more support.
Sadness level: Low/moderate. I got a little teary at one point, but not too much.
Heat level: Moderate. They had great chemistry (as they suspected they would) and had some great steamy times.
Descriptive sex: Yes
Sex scene with OW or OM:
Cheating:
Possible Triggers:
Closure: This didn't have enough closure for me. I would call it a HFN, because we didn't get any serious commitment other than saying they were "boyfriend/girlfriend".
I loved the first book, Hard. However, Cash was somehow even better! In all of his playboy ways, he is a good guy...a true example for women seeking out a book boyfriend. The story is fun and superbly well-written and I cannot wait to see what Eve Jagger has in store for us next!
THIS IS A MUST READ! #MyManCash
Hello Cash! This series is quickly becoming a favorite… who doesn’t love a Sexy Bastard?! Eve Jagger has found herself a sexy set of men to write about and I can’t get enough of them! Where Ryder was a little rougher around the edges and full of internal brooding, Cash is more relaxed and quick with the verbal banter. I loved that he was so laid back, but still a hard worker. Cash has very deep convictions and morals that really make him stand out. He’s a great guy, even if he is a bit of a manwhore.
I really loved Savannah, aka Savy… she was a breath of fresh air for me as a reader. She’s strong, so opinionated, damn smart and good lord does she have a horrible dating history. And the girl really did need a proper lay…haha. Savy isn’t one to broadcast her hurts - she’s a deal with it internally kinda girl and I could totally relate to that. Her attraction to Cash felt natural - she tried to fight it, but come on, who can resist a sexy bastard than guarantees a good time?
I think my favorite part of this book was when Cash finally let Savy in … trusted her with his family drama - and dang is Cash’s family messed up! Everyone loves Cash, but no one really knows him - he doesn’t share much about his family or how he’s trying to make up for their sins.. and to me, that’s where Cash shines - he truly cares about people, about doing the right thing. He’s a sexy bastard with the heart of gold.
Cash’s story is well paced, but there was a few times when it did feel a bit rushed. It didn’t hurt the story, I just would have liked a little more show than tell in certain parts. That said, Ryder and Cash are neck in neck in the race for the Sexiest Bastard… but I hear Knox’s story is up next - and I’m super excited to meet this mystery man! 4 stars!
You know that new love giddiness feeling? That is what I feel when I think about this book. I am giddy, excited, and in love.
Cash is exactly what the doctor ordered -- seductive with 2 parts flirtation, 1 part snark, 1 part angst and flambéed with sex appeal. This sinfully delicious drink of a man will make you hot and leave you shouting for another round.
Savannah is heroine perfection. She is strong, sexy, snarky and a complete ball buster, but she is also vulnerable. Her traits make her real and relatable, and I love that in a character.
This story has the complete checklist of feels; elation, steam, heartbreak, disappoint, angst, humor-- the list could go on and on. I was tortured by having to walk away from this delectable read and join society. While I was anxious to finish, (who wants this to end?) I am so glad I strapped in and took this brilliant ride.
Eve couldn't have provided a better second book. This is a 5+ star read. I cannot rave enough about this author and her books. I am just in awe.
Much better than the first book of the series, but again it was tied up a little too quickly in the end. And, no "I love yous" declared from either main character? That just seemed a little strange to me. But, I did love both main characters! Both were strong, independent, and confident individuals with a terrific sense of humor. I laughed out loud many times! Looking forward to reading the next book in the series that tells of the mysterious missing Knox.
4.5 stars!
I LOVED this book. Cash and Savannah burned up the pages. Their chemistry was undeniable, and their friendship rock solid.
I LOVED how they both cheered each other on during the wonderful times, as well as lifted each other up during the hard/sad times.
I LOVED Cash, and even though he was a "manwhore", he was still an honorable one. He was always upfront and never misleading. In addition to that, he had a heart of pure gold, was kind, loyal, and always did the right thing - irregardless of personal cost.
And Savannah? What a woman! Fun and feisty, incredibly smart and loyal as well. I LOVED that she was always herself with Cash. I also LOVED that she never apologized for her work ethic and successes. She was proud to be a strong and successful woman - something we women could all learn from her.
My only problem with the book is that I think it ended too abruptly. Or maybe it was just that I wanted it to keep going on and on. Either way, I wish we had more.
All in all though, it was a very fantastic book with important life lessons about listening to ourselves and others before passing judgement or jumping to conclusions.
Cash and Savannah's love story will remain in your hearts and teach you that love is possible - even in the midst of despair and heartache.
OMG OMG I loved Cash so much, these sexy bastards of Altitude are fast becoming my fav book boyfriends ever, they are so hot and sexy that I don't know how any women could resist them or say no to them.
Cash is one heck of a bartender, with family issues, we all have them right, but he feels the need to hide his problems from everyone and he feels the need to try and make up for the mess his father caused. Savannah is a work oriented lawyer who has been hurt in the past and has no time for dating and when she does have time its one disaster after another. When along comes Cash to save her from an event where she has to confront her past. This starts a whirlwind of a romance between Cash and Savannah but of course as in any epic love story the past will always catch up with you. Will Cash and Savannah be able to make things work or will Cash's past be too much for Savannah????
Cannot wait for the next sexy bastards story
Another hit out of the park for Eve Jagger! I absolutely loved Ryder and Cassie in Hard, so topping them was going to be a tough sell for me, but Eve managed to do just that.
Savy is trying to get over a breakup where her previous boyfriend deceived her terribly and Cash isn't looking to settle down at all, preferring to enjoy playing the field, but he's wanted Savannah for quite some time and he intends to have her. They both went into their little tryst not expecting anything other than a good time. I liked how these two came together slowly, emotionally. It was real.
CASH is a light, easy and fun read without really any angst. I love me some angst, but at the same time it's refreshing to read a book without it! If you haven't read Eve Jagger yet, you're missing out. This is a new author, but I'm telling you…she has talent and is already a USA Today best selling author for HARD.
I had the pleasure of receiving Cash by Eve Jagger as a ARC, it is not one of my regular reads but I am becoming a fan.
It was hard not to keep a smile off my face while reading this story, Cash is one hot mess of a arrogant womanizer. He is good at mixing drinks, being part owner of five nightclubs and picking up the ladies. Cash has a family history that he is allowing to take control of his life, the good thing is that he has great friends around him that he considers family.
Savannah Sunday, is one of his good friends that has been warned to stay away from Cash. Their constant flirting is what finally brings them together. I was crazy about Savannah, strong woman who works for accomplished law firm and is up for a promotion. She also has a past that could hinder that promotion.
Cash and Savannah's sexual chemistry is off the heat scale. I enjoyed the characters, storyline and I didn't want it to finish.
4.5 STARS
The title isn't misleading. Cash is a SEXY bastard! Ok, I lie. Bastard isn't really fitting because while he tries to come off as an arrogant, screw anything with two legs man-whore, he's actually a good guy. A guy that is trying to make amends for his families past. A past that cause a lot of hurt to a lot of innocent people. But that is something Cash keeps close to the chest. A secret he's so ashamed of, he doesn't tell his closest friends who he really is or where he came from. It's one of the reasons he lives above the bar he's part owner in.
Savannah is a entertainment attorney trying to make partner in her firm. Her boss is old-school southern. He believes a woman's place is standing behind her man, and not in the business world. In order to prove herself, she needs to land the next big star. She's coming off a bad, heartbreaking relationship with a guy who kept secrets of his own. After a series of horrible first dates, she decides to take Cash up on an offer of a good time.
Savannah and Cash have combustible chemistry. They are smoking hot together. Each one of them have their own way of dealing with their past. The characters are well written and the sex is of course off the charts. There were just a few small parts that seemed to jump, but nothing that made the story confusing or not able to be followed. Overall, I loved this book.
This is the second book in the Sexy Bastards series. I didn't read the first one, and I don't think it took much away from this book by not having read it. But I'm definitely going to read it now. And any other Sexy Bastard Eve chooses to bring us!
We met Cash in the first book Hard, and remember him as a playboy bartender and part owner of the club. Cash has no desire to settle down with one woman, especially since there are so many that he can choose from each night. He’s become good friends with Savannah (Ryder’s girlfriend Cassie’s best friend) and looks forward to the nights she comes in the bar. It starts with a little innocent flirting, but soon becomes obvious that both Cash and Savannah are interested in one another. They agree to keep it as a friends with benefits relationship. Both have secrets and both begin to have feelings for the other they try to fight.
I loved Cash and thought he was a hot sweetheart. I liked Savannah’s character as well and was glad she had a backbone when it came to her past. I understood the reasoning behind Savannah keeping her secret, but I had trouble believing Cash’s secret was that big of a deal. Yeah, it was bad I guess, but I just didn’t get it or why he kept it from his friends. No big deal since it doesn’t take away from the story.
Overall, good book told from both Cash’s and Savannah’s POVs. The epilogue is pretty quick and vague but it does end in a good place.
