Hot! Damn! I love the boys of bishop Mountain!!!
I Loved this new edition to the series!!!! Zachary Donovan is smart, charming, good-looking and very well endowed 🍆😅!! and lives the life of a single guy and with being the most sought after rich bachelor he leads a hedonistic life style going from one gorgeous women to the next! And in his own words on settling down with the right woman "I’m still on the hunt, I’ll just keep looking for that solid gold vajayjay. And mark my words, no p*ssy will be left behind.” But this charming bad boy is about to meet the one women he can't hit it and quit it! FBI special agent Hannah Evans is beautiful,funny and has the whole girl next door vibe and between having a promising career with the feds she is also helping to raise her grieving military brothers 3 kids after his wife dies in accident and it doesn't leave much time for her personal life. This romance has plenty of angst because both characters are keeping secrets and making assumptions before knowing the truth. This story also has passion,friendship,family and great laugh out loud moments like when Princess Snooki-pie of the Pink Forest of Fairyland meets Zac and thinks he's the villain who is taking away her beloved aunt Hannah!!! Lets just say she almost turned the rooster into a hen with her plastic sword!!!😂 With some awesome storytelling and a great storyline and all too human emotions and relationships and interesting main characters and great secondary characters its no wonder she's one of my favorite authors of all time!! I can't wait for more from The boys of Bishop Mountain! This book like the first Marked is a standalone with a happily ever after ending. Until next time Luv's💕💋

a good read

This is the second book in the Boys of Bishop Mountain series. It is a contemporary, millionaire romance with incredible characters and storyline. I especially loved the intrigue, unpredictability, wittiness, and steam.

This book follows Zac and Hannah on their bumpy road to HEA. One thing after another stands in the way of their happiness. They clear one hurdle and run face first into the next one. When they do come together, these two could set the world on fire. The chemistry between them is scorching hot!

The writing, flow, storytelling, characters, character development, relationship development, and world building are all fantastic. I honestly had one heck of a time putting this book down. I highly recommend it, seriously, I can’t recommend it enough, it’s that good! I am super excited to see what comes next in this amazing series!

OMG!!

I loved the story of Hannah and Zac. It has all the comedy, spicey, and suspenseful in a romance.

Hannah, as an FBI agent and Zac as the gorgeous bachelor, meet on a rainy night. Weeks later, they meet again under very different circumstances. And so their relationship begins sort of.

I read this in one day, and I have never read a book in one day. This one goes to the top of my list as my favorite.

absolutely loved Cuffed Zac and Hannah were such amazing characters, and their chemistry was incredible from start to finish. One of my favorite things about this book was the comedy — I swear I was laughing the entire time. The humor mixed perfectly with the romance and all the unexpected twists along the way.

The love story between Hannah and Zac was emotional, entertaining, and unforgettable. I also really loved seeing their second chance at love and how their relationship grew throughout the story. This book had everything: romance, drama, funny moments, and surprises that kept me hooked the whole way through. Overall, it was an amazing read, and I couldn’t put it down!

Not for me.

Didn't care for the first book in series, but thought I'd give author another chance. First, who picks up an unknown man walking the streets late at night? Then, MMC turns out to be a man-child/man-whore. Why authors think these guys are attractive is beyond me. Being an FBI agent, I thought Hannah would be a strong, secure woman. Nope. Even tho Zac is the type of guy she wouldn't be interested in, she goes to bed with him anyway. Why? Well, he's just so gosh darn good looking! Blech. Then there were the ridiculous misunderstandings, the ridiculous twist. I'm done.

Hannah works for the fbi and one night she sees a guy walking in the rain, dressed really nice. So she asks if he wants a ride. That man is Zac Donovan, marks brother, and he’s the coo of marks company. And a certified playboy. But there’s something about Hannah that intrigues him. He uses a fake name and has her drive around for 10 blocks before finally telling her where he lives, never to be seen again.
Hannah has a twin brother and his three kids that she lives with. Because Harrison is always deployed somewhere dangerous, running from his grief after the loss of his wife Cecile. Now Harrison is home but the kids still rely on their aunt for a lot of things while Harrison decides whether he’s going to leave again.
During an undercover sting operation, Zac sees Hannah and spills a drink down the front of her, ruining the wire she’s wearing and causing a shitshow. She arrests him. But he’s got friends in high places and gets out of it in a hurry. She still doesn’t know his name. But he knows hers now and he’s obsessed.
He coerces her into dinner and says he will tell her his name when she’s under him.
Later, she’s under him and he tells her his first name. When she goes to the bathroom he sees texts on her phone and a picture of her and her brother and the kids and assumes she’s married. So he sneaks out of his own apartment and then when she’s leaving he hears her on the phone using a pet name and assumes it’s her husband. So now he hates her.
Her boss is a douchebag. But her boss’s boss is cool and he has her go on another undercover job at the place where Zac works but she doesn’t know that till the first day. She’s sent to do some digging into accounts where money disappears.
Meanwhile Zac is stuck with this girl who’s father is a media tycoon and they’re doing a deal for his moms cookbook. His mom is sick and he’s in a rush to make her dreams come true with the cookbook. But that puts him on the hook with this shitbag girl who is just a media heiress who manipulates him.
So now he’s mad at Hannah because he thinks she’s married. And rumors are abound that Zac is engaged to the heiress.
The he’s going camping with his brother and friends and they stop at a camping store and Harrison is there with the kids. They recognize him from a picture on Hannah’s phone and that’s when he realizes she’s not married. Harrison and the kids take him to the house and he’s back with Hannah in an instant.
They’re hot and heavy and he asks her to move in with him. Then one night they’re out to dinner and he has to take a call. 40 minutes goes by and she sees him outside with the heiress who’s all over him and she leaves.
Another night she’s meeting with the heiresses people to go over his moms cookbook and she runs into her shitbag boss from the fbi. He assaults her and kisses her but the heiress set the whole thing up to piss off zac and sends him pics of her kissing the boss. So now everyone is mad at each other.
In the side story, her dead sister in law was the only daughter of a mob boss and the heiress alleged that her people uncovered everything about the kids and that she will release the information about the kids to the public and then Cecile’s family will find them and take them. And it really was the only reason Hannah worked for the fbi, to protect her brother and kids.
Zac figures out that the heiress is pregnant with Hannah’s boss’s kid and that she was trying to get Zac to marry her so her father wouldn’t disown her. Her makes a big announcement at her fathers Fourth of July party that it was a ruse. By then though, Hannah is gone. She quit all her jobs and has spent a month hiking. And she happens to be at bishop mountain.
He’s been tracking her the whole time and leaving little snacks and things for her. Then he finally shows up to make things right again.
They build a house on bishop mountain. He leaves the company. She opens a bakery and her brother opens a coffee shop next door. HEA.

This is the 2nd Book in the Boys of Bishop Mountain Series and wow what an exciting read. The author gave us a funny yet suspenseful storyline full of laughs, misunderstandings, intrigue and lots of spice behind closed doors (well most of the time behind closed doors, after all we are talking about Bishop Mountain).

Zac Donovan, aka: Don Juan Donovan, is most definitely a player, but he’s met his match with Hannah, aka: Agent Hanna Evan with the FBI. They meet when Zac is walking home in the rain and she stops to give him a ride home. Their instant chemistry is out of sight but Hannah knows better than to get involved. #1 she has 3 adorable kids a home (her brother’s kids who she is helping raise) #2: He’s a total stranger with a player attitude and Lastly his name is definitely Not Mr. Smith like he told her. They meet again when she walks into a Gentlemen’s Club on an undercover assignment. The same club that Zac is hosting his brother’s bachelor party. Unbeknownst to Zac that she’s an FBI agent, things get totally out of hand and Zac ends up getting arrested. From here their path leads to lots of misunderstandings and wild times.

This is a wonderful contemporary romance that you don’t want to miss out on. If you haven’t read book 1 of the series (Marked). I highly recommend reading it first. It isn’t a have to, Cuffed can be read as a standalone, but doing so will make for a much better reading experience for Zac’s story.

One of my new favorite authors. She hit this one out of the park, too, read it in a day.

Zac is the COO of his brother Mark's multimillion dollar company. He's a playboy that's known as Don Juan Donovan. Hannah is an FBI agent who has taken on the job of caring for her neice and nephews while her brother is deployed. Randomly, she offers a ride to a guy walking in the pouring rain (Zac). When an UC assignment goes bust she's falls back into the orbit of Zac and he's not gonna let her go. After a magnificent night together, Zac gets the wrong idea (enter miscomm trope) and despises Hannah. Her boss gives her a new assignment at Zac's company and that's when things get going.

There are a lot of ups and downs, all stemming from different miscomms, but thankfully, the author doesn't really waste reading time getting things cleared up.

I love how the plot (at least for me) is unpredictable. Usually, I'm quick to see a twist or how drama is going to play out, but not with this one (or the first book of the series, to be honest). It kept me entertained and unable to put it down. Oh, and the witty banter between them is fantastic. I actually found myself cackling at some of the dialogue, it was great.

The spice was good and some of the stuff that came out of Zac's mouth..oh, my 🫦.

Delilah Donovan is the matriarch of the family and the driving force behind her sons. Dean Emmerson is the CFO of Centurion Group.

"Love is messy. Love is blind. Love breaks you from the inside out. It gives hope to hopelessness and meaning to madness, and above all else, love is fearless."

This story will have you on the edge of your seat with the suspense, and you will laugh out loud. Lexxi James brings it all with this tale; you should read it!

Mr. And Mrs. Smith

Zac was a little more player than I expected. I guess because in Mark and Jess's book he spent more time with Jess, his bestfriend and his brother so we didn't see what he was doing behind the scenes.

Oh but it only takes one night in the rain, a strange but beautiful woman "rescuing" him, and the ability to talk with her so easily for him to turn in his players card. However, because who he really is, high powered COO Zac Donovan - he doesn't give her his real name, just James Smith.

Hannah Banana is this kick ass special agent who in real life is a super aunt to her twin brothers 3 children. She'd do anything for those kids because they belong to Harrison and Cecile.

Hannah and Zac navigate a series of misunderstandings, media attention, working together, falling in love, and giving everything up to do what she does best - protect her family. Their world can be righted with the right amount of pixie dust and an army of friends and family who believe that these two belong together.

Once again, Lexxi James constructs another book with equal amounts of steam, banter, intrigue, mystery family and romance. I only put it down because I needed to sleep.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "CUFFED" I was hooked from the start a page turner you can't put down with suspense, intrigue, humor, steam, mistaken identity, miscommunication, twists that make for a very addicting read.
Zac Donovan is a player for sure but he meets his match with Hannah who he meets while walking home in the rain & she offers him a ride nether know who the other really is their chemistry sizzles.
Hannah can't get involved she has three unruly kids at home her brothers kids Connor, Oliver & Sophie since their mother died Cecile in car accident dads away on deployment her hands are full.
Zac has a bachelor party at a Private Gentleman's Club he's COO of Centurion Group with his brothers Tyler & Mark who he's bestman for his wedding to Jessica Bishop who is Zac's BF he sees Hannah there she's undercover never thought he'd be in handcuffs a mistaken identity.
I definitely recommend to get this riviting story Hannah & Zac take you on quite the journey so much misunderstandings between them, their chemistry is so strong, will they get their HEA, its a must read you don't want to miss such an awesome read I loved it 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤 🖤

All begins with mistaken identity and a lie when two people more opposite that they could be meet and fall for each other head over heels.

Hannah is FBI agent taking care of her brother's kids and sometimes forget on her own needs and doing everything by the book. One night she offers a ride to a stranger and feels instant connection with him.

Zac is billionaire and a player, doesn't do relationships and likes giving false name to the women he dates. He is very private person and for a player very family guy who will do anything for his mother and brothers. When he meets Hannah everything changes and for the first time he is willing to take a chance on relationship.

But it wouldn't be intriguing story if there wasn't a little twist and mystery, action and a lot of steam.

At the end truth is revealed and Hannah and Zac can begin living and enjoying their life together. And make their dream come true (wink wink).

I'm maybe biased but Lexxi is one of my favourite authors and her books are great read from the start.

This book was so good! I’m so glad I grabbed it from the thrift store, despite knowing nothing about it.

This book had a lot of good plot twists and intrigue and surprising moments. I really liked Zac. A man who claims he’s never getting tied down is nothing new, but I like that when Zac figured out how he felt about Hannah (which was pretty damn quick) he was all in with her. He didn’t shy away from the relationship.

I really like that Hannah was the federal agent, and a bad ass in her own right (though I do wish we would have gotten to SEE her be an agent more. That storyline got a little lost about halfway through.)

Also, Zac and Hannah were HOT together. They had amazing chemistry the whole way through. And I love the cast of side characters. They both had friends and family and significant relationships outside of the romance.

I will admit it got a little… weird and rushed towards the end. There were a few times jumps that made things confusing and overall I think just could have been slowed down a little.

But definitely still a great book.

Well. WELL.
Zac Donovan really said “I am a charming playboy bachelor with no intention of being emotionally ruined” and then Hannah pulled up in the rain like fate had a driver’s license and a grudge. I loved this book. Loved the banter, loved the heat, loved the drama, loved Zac losing his entire mind over one woman while still trying to act like he had a plan. Spoiler: he did not have a plan. He had cheekbones, audacity, and a fake name.

And Hannah? Obsessed. She is smart, tough, capable, protective, and exactly the kind of woman who can make a billionaire playboy forget every bad decision he was planning to make that week. Their chemistry was ridiculous in the best way, the emotional stakes hit hard, and the family chaos gave the whole thing that messy, loving, everybody-is-in-your-business energy I adore.

This was hot, funny, dramatic, sweet, and just unhinged enough to keep me fully entertained. Zac and Hannah were such a good time, and I will happily accept more Donovans causing romantic property damage, thank you very much.

An act of kindness sets off a chain of events between two people who are meant to be but it will be a rocky road getting there. Zac Donovan is definitely a player. His nightly encounters rival that of Don Juan. Hence his media nickname #DonJuanDonavan. He never reveals his name and he never see a woman twice. So what is it about Hannah Evans? She intrigues him even when she's slapping cuufs on him in an FBI sting. Hannah works, takes care of her nieces and nephews and has little time for a personal life. Yet, Zac occupies her thoughts continuously even after he turns cold. An undercover assignment puts has her working at his company trying to find a mole. Things get tangled up when blackmail threats are made that could endanger both Hannah and her family. Zac's not about to let that happen. Finding what makes you happy and admitting it goes a long way towards happily ever after.

I borrowed Cuffed ~ The Boys of Bishop Mountain ~ Book 2, by Lexxi James, author, from the Kindle Unlimited Program on Amazon.

It starts in a rainstorm rescue and goes no stop with ups and downs in a developing relationship full of fun, some danger and three wonderful children with lots of personality and family support for both Hannah and Zac or Hannah Banana and Flashdance. At the FBI her boss is taking bribes, working with an evil witch woman and blackmailer, who excells in causing trouble including using mob threats to get what she wants.

In the end a month long hike in the mountains with a yert at the end and retirement from their high pressure jobs to a happier and simplier life making sweet treats and a new coffee shop for her brother and his kids. Love the princess with wings and a fist that knew where to take a big guy down a notch, she brought joy to everyone!

This is the second book in this incredible series, and this is Zac and Hannah’s story. Hannah is an FBI special agent, who does not have much time for love as she is helping her grieving brother with his children, and in her pursuit of a hitman, she is undercover at a private and exclusive gentleman’s’ club. Zac is a bad boy, who arranges his brother’s bachelor party at the same club, and before he knows it, they are arrested. This is a well written story which has combustible and undeniable chemistry, and is action-packed, with romance, angst, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

He admits to being what everyone calls him--he just doesn't leave his name. One-and-done is easier when they don't have your name. He's not ashamed it is what it is. He's wealthy-very wealthy and lives his life.

She lives her life as well, which includes caring for her brother's three kids while he is deployed again and again. After the death of his wife, he couldn't seem to make a new life with his kids. As always, she took over where necessary. She wasn't just an aunt, she was in law enforcement and after a dangerous Hitman.

It is funny and has great characters, intrigue, and surprises.

The couple of Hannah Banana and James 'Flashdance' Smith aka Zac (😉) was fun, flirty, and full of steam. Unfortunately for them, it was also full of misunderstandings and assumptions.🙈 There is a darker vein running underneath the storyline that's a bit of surprise as well as a gut punch!🥺 Never fear, it is a HEA.❤️

Emotional, Romantic, and So Clever!!

Agent Hannah Evans is helping raise her brother Harrison’s children, as he is on deployment and licking his wounds after the death of his wife. A random offer of a ride to a rain-drenched man “Mr. Smith” results in a chemistry-filled romp. When “Mr Smith” turns out to be COO Zack Donovan, with a “Don Juan” nickname, we are off to the races.

Some real angst as loss, illness and career are front and center. There is also banter, wit, love, kids, and so much more. My heart would melt a bit, and I would also laugh out loud - as I listened to the audio on my commute. My second listen from Ms. James and I am an even bigger fan now.

"Cuffed" delivers exactly what Bishop Mountain promises: sarcasm, chaos, and a hero who absolutely should not be left unsupervised. Zac’s habit of talking to his own anatomy like it’s a coworker with opinions is comedy gold and gives the book its signature “I shouldn’t be laughing this hard” charm. Holt’s blackmail antics make her the kind of character you want to launch into the sun, but Zac’s payback is deeply satisfying. Zac and Hannah

Zac Donovan becomes quite the playboy in his brother Marks image. Now that Mark has settled down he becomes the brother to set the gossip websites ablaze. A walk in the rain has him crossing paths with Hannah and thus begins their game of cat and mouse as they weather another FBI investigation into his company. He also attracts his share of crazy, entitled socialites willing to invent stories and photo ops but one goes a step or ten too far. Hannah also has her twin brother and his kids to look out for after his wife was killed in an accident. So many twists in their relationship keep you turning the pages to see what comes next.

Loved Zac and Hannah's story!!!! Could not put this book down! What a FANTASTIC story of destiny and the obstacles to overcome in order to have a HEA! If you like stories with humor, strong women, loving men (who are also hot and sexy), and great characters, you'll love this story!
Even though this is a standalone story, I highly recommend you read Marked (Boys of Bishop Mountain Book 1) in order to truly understand the dynamics of these wonderful characters. Can't wait for more stories of the Boys of Bishop Mountain!

Love this! It was so good especially the cheeky dialogue between the main has m characters.
Hannah went undercover in a gentleman's club on the night that bad boy Zac is throwing a Batchelor party.
Wow explosive is all I can say and has Zac sure got it bad for Hannah. But she sure put up a good fight. Their chemistry is so strong, fiesty and passionate.
Hannah knows what she wants but Zac isn't it, well shouldn't be it.
So well done. I love the character match up and the writing style is very easy read. Such a great book!!

If I was blown away by the first book in this series, Marked. Then I'm in awe of this one.
Following another of the brothers, this one being Zac the playboy of the family. Twists and turns, and comical meetings with Hannah. Hannah is an exceptional character, in that she's an FBI agent, but she's also vulnerable and has a love for baking and her nephews and nieces. Never an easy relationship, these two sparkled. A really enjoyable read, one that I maxed out in a few hours as I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait for another installment of this series...

It starts out a little crazy at 1st but this story Is 1 you'll remember for sometime later

I wasn't sure when I 1st started reading this story yet Just didn't seem to come together or I was thoroughly confused I'm not sure which. However as I read the book I kept falling in love with the characters and the story line. The characters oh what a variety of variety of them... Some werewolf so silly Coma crazy And just unbelievable. And then there were the others that were deeply grieving And very serious. The kids the kids in the story They just come to life....
