Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.
~~~5 Stars~~~ Watched the Movie When you've followed the whole Naruto series and Naruto Shippuden *even through the fillers*, you feel like your a part of the Naruto family. At least that's the way I feel. I was overjoyed to watch Boruto: Naruto the Movie. Seeing your favourite characters grow up and raise a family of their own, in a way makes you feel like your were involved in their journey.
Masashi Kishimoto did an excellent job with this installment in the Naruto Franchise. I felt that the younger generation was portrayed really well. They weren't extremely powerful due to their origins of Naruto and Sasuke. Kishimoto showed us their flaws and the potential for character growth.
Boruto and Sarada have this cute BFF style relationship, which is really a pleaser, considering Naruto and Sasukes relationship in their school days. What I really like about these two characters is the fact that they look up to each other's dads. Boruto wants to be like Sasuke, and Sarada wants to be like Naruto a Hokage.
Mitsuki character definitely has a mysterious energy surrounding him. We don't get to really know him that well, but we are given the sense that he is kind and in a sense quirky.
Overall Boruto: Naruto the Movie, left me in happy tears, and I am looking forward to the rest of the Boruto Franchise to get underway.
This was such a great story and a good way to introduce Boruto to people who only came to read this book for Sauske or Naruto. It brings us some new characters like Sarada, (Sauseke Daughter) Mitsuki, and for the people that love Naruto will also find this manga awesome because its like the old Naruto but with different characters. All the old characters will still be there and stuff but the main characters are Boruto and his friends. The art and illustration is great the whole thing was great.
Mi commuove leggere certe frasi❤️🩹 Davvero bello, opera tratta dall'omonimo film ovviamente, però adoro sempre leggere dei pensieri dei personaggi ed emozionarmi con poco ❤️🩹
